Goodbye Vana'Diel

Welp, I haven't written in quite some time, and after finally sneaking onto a computer super late at night, I can finally type some stuff up. My life right now has been pretty hectic. The transfering back to my college process has turned out to be much more of a hassle then I had hoped and my parents are terified about my future. With the economy in the crapper I am currently having trouble even finding a part time job. Luckily I have a gotten back in touch with a few old friends and my support network has helped me through it quite a bit.

But my real life escapades have never been the centerpiece of this blog. It has been about my FFXI adventures. I highly doubt a lotta people read this, but I'm writing this post as my formal goodbye to the world of Vana'Diel.

I have played FFXI for 6 years now...give or take a bit, and its a little sad to say goodbye to it. FFXI has given me many memories that I will always cherish, but also a few which I will be happy to forget. If someone told me as a little kid, that I would get to chat and become friends with people all across the US, and even a few people across the ocean over a video game, I would of thought them crazy and probrably would of punched them and then run away as fast as possible.

For better or for worse, FFXI has been dying. The server populations have been shrinking, the endgame content has been boring, and the only thing that kept me going for the last few months on it has been the amazing friends that I had on there. When I first took a break from FFXI a year ago or so, I honestly felt agitated and bored. As if I had something missing from my life that I really need. Now, however, I really don't miss it anymore.

When first starting to play the game, I treated many of my online friends as my "online buddies." I knew they were real people, but besides playing FFXI, I always considered them as "Miry's friends", not mine. But as time progressed, many of my friends online became much more then just random people on the internet that made me laugh. And I want to thank you all so much for making the game be amazing for such a long time.

I really don't know what else to write. I dont know what will happen to me, or Miry, or to all of Vana'Diel, but I want to just say thanks again. It was a great trip while it lasted.

Nyzule Isle and Limbus. Yay!

Oooph...Once again I haven't updated the blog in quite a while. Been busy with school and trying to find a job still. And usually my free time has been filled with either the game or me just trying to catch my breath. Anyways, story time! My nzule isle static has been going strong. We actually just finished lvl 40, so we've definitely worked our ways up the ladder quite a bit already. I'm a little frustrated with how SE made it work though. Sometimes it seems like you get a set of floors that you just cannot beat within the time limit. Clear all followed by 5 chariots followed by 4 flayers? Really SE!? At least our group is very well balanced and we're usually able to take care of most floors no problem. Here's hoping to the group getting to level 100~!

The Nyzule Isle Static did a lil merit pt after one of our runs to release some stress. I hadn't merited in quite some time and it was fun letting my thf just massacre birds again.

Limbus has been going very strong. I actually have enough ABC's to upgrade the three pieces of Bst AF that I want to. Although I still need the rare/ex drops from limbus also. As of right now, I believe we're three chips away from having three omega sets. Can't wait to use em! Hopefully I can at least get one piece of equipment when we do all those runs. XD

Ifrit! Arnor, Krystala, Okwaho, and Souel all joined in for some ifrit killing action. Poor prime when down with almost no trouble what so ever. And now I'm a happy owner of an Ifrit's blade. Once I get bst finished I will hopefully be able to level blu so I can use it.

My bst is level 74 now and I have been slowly upgrading it little by little. I even went out and killed the NM so I could have decimation. Sadly rampage does better damage but at least its a fancy lookin weapon skill. Except for two upgraded relic pieces, I'll actually one of the best possible charm sets out there. So I'm pretty happy about that.

I don't even remember how it happened but SoO gathered a few peeps and we killed Charby for Krys! I know its a pretty fancy sword and all and I'm sure she will enjoy it on her pld. She's definitely turning it into quite the buff job.

Thats my little update for now. Going back to bed now...I hope everyone has a good halloween ^^. Its coming up fast!

Ack! I finally noticed I haven't posted in a while. School, ffxi, and this awful on and off fever have kept me really busy. Luckily, even though I forgot about an adventure or two, I have pictures to remind me of em! But I don't need a picture to remind me of adventuring with Okwaho. We were going for a blu spell with him and I brought up the amazing idea to try the Arrapago Reef. However, a lil whiles in, Mr. Galka learned that soulflayers are true sight and everyone died. After Souel came and raised us, and running around the place looking for the correct mob, the group decided to go outside and just stick with those mobs. Sure enough, after a few fights Okwaho got Hysteric Barrage. I'll have to remember on blu to just stick with the mobs outside as well.

Souel has been wanting a Dark Pact for a while so I've been helping him try to farm it a few times. Thank's to Arnor's super sam, the farming went like...2000 times smoother. Amazingly, it was getting pretty late and I told the both of them that I was gonna have to call it a night after the next demon. Right before the mob died I yelled at it and told it to drop the scroll and sure enough, it did! Wooo!

Been doing the mammet ENM with Arnor and it's been pretty easy so far. In fact, we even do another quest along the way for an extra exp scroll. You never knoew when ya need an extra exp scroll! I haven't gotten anything fancy from the ENM yet, but I know sooner or later, something big is gonna drop.

A random NM me and Cyp Cyp ran into when running to the Brothers NM. We jumped on it when we saw it was a NM hoping it would drop something good. Once we realized it dropped only junk, Cyp slept it and we went on our merry way.

A better picture of the giant dragon gaurding the super rare snow up there. I know that dragon is hiding something important, I just gotta find out what.

Salvage! Um...its exactly like I remember it honestly. You get a bunch of cells, you work your way up to the boss, and then you win some, you lose some. I kind of messed up scheduling my classes and lab around salvage...but I'm hoping once my work schedule settles down, I can make the runs more frequently.

Got to exp in an imp exp party consisting of two bst and two smn. It was actually really fun! And unlike the last party, it was actually super efficient! I also got to become a duo partner with the other bst. Although my schedule has been super busy, I hopefully can duo with him and get some decent exp....hopefully.

And here is a random picture of a besieged group visiting me while I was soloing some colibri on bst. Bst has been super duper awesome lately and I'm enjoying the job immensely. I leveled it to 70 and I'm really hoping to get it to 75 before the end of the year. There is still a few pieces of equipment that I need to hunt down but it's coming along very nicely.

Summer Blitz!

Oh gosh. I haven't posted in quite a while again @_@. Been super busy both online and off. School has started and I'm on campus for most of the day. And when I am not, I'm usually busy now doing stuff with people. Which is totally super fun and awesome! Mr. Beard totally had a great idea to get more involved with the community and I am trying my best to. Campaign isn't really one of them, but I thought a picture showing everyone who died from a 2K AoE from a yagudo bard was pretty funny. Stupid birds...

My beastmaster is now comfortably sitting at 68! I'm really hoping to get it up to 75 before the end of the year. I know there are many awesome things I can do with the job and I have my fingers crossed that the good bst solo camps are not taken all too much. Come on beastmaster! You can do it! Anyhoo, with the help of Souel and Cyp, I was able to get me some rutter sabatons! My bst's ws set is now sitting above 40 str at 68 so I'm pretty happy with it. The slow on the boots kind of stink, but the added damage is nice. I'm still wondering what most bsts use for feet when it comes to TP though. I'll have to do more research!

Cyp cyp and me have added another ENM to our rotation! The brothers one! Although the trip to get the item to get in is definitely a pain, it is always nice to see the resident dragon just lazying around. I mean...what kind of dragon just gaurds...a bunch of snow? ;>_>

Although we had trouble the first time with the fight, Cyprias and me have been able to duo the ENM twice with little problems. I'm sure once we get more acustomed to the mobs and what not, we will definitely kick a super ton of butt. Here's hoping for some major gil!

Arnor wanted some healing insurance on the mammet ENM fight so I agreed to help him out! We had done the fight a few times in the past and getting to the darn fight was harder then the fight itself. Sheesh! Neither of us got anything fancy from the fight but we both know stuff is just around the corner @_@;. And we will get it. On a super lucky note, Arnor spoted the NM bat outside of the zone and we totally jumped on it. We got both the cloak and the earring to boot! So super good job to Arnor for spotting the bat, because I embarassingly ran by it without even noticing. orz...and I call myself a thief.

Multiple people have told my ranger is pretty helpful in endgame stuff so I decided to try to put together a mediocre TP and WS set. I think my TP set is pretty good but my WS is definitely lacking many spots. Anyhoo, hearing a bunch of shouts for Nyzul Isle, I decided to join a few runs. And with super duper luck, one of my runs had 5 people going for Askar or Goliard and only me going after Denali. I crossed my fingers and my tail, and amazingly the Denali Jacket dropped! I know it's no Kirin's Osode, but I'm hoping it acts as a decent substitute for my ranger's weapon skill set. It definitely does more then the ranger's AF. I'm not really too sure what I should hunt down now, but I'm sure farther down the road I can get my ranger looking decently spiffy. Its no super decked out ranger, but hopefully the damage delt by it will be sufficient.

I hadn't been to dynamis in a while due to time conflicts with school and family, but I did get to go to a Dynamis Xarcabard and a Dynamis Beau.! And with more luck I got the ranger boots! Sorry Bane, I know you wanted them but I'm working on my ranger also D:. Besides, you're ranger is already better then mine so stop staring at it! I'm still quite a whiles away from getting my thf gloves...but at least I'm slowly progressing.

The final picture for tonight is a picture of a 6 beastmaster experience point party I joined. Sadly the party was more novelty then efficient and I think with the tabs we were only getting about 4k an hour. Even worse, the taru leader turned out to have an attitude problem and just walked away from the party. It wasn't our fault the experience was awful. Anyways...I still thought the idea of one monster having to fight against 12 different oppenents was funny. Those poor raptors didn't even stand a chance. I'm most likely going to have to solo myself to 75.

Thats my big update for now. I'm actually gonna be out of town for a while so I hope everyone starts out their September really well. Don't forget people, smiles!

Scribbling down some thoughts

Another little update for now. I haven't really been accomplishing all too much lately. Mainly just been lazying around and talking to people. Like Yoda and Hen! I hadn't seen those two in quite some time so it was nice to catch up with them a lil during an assault run. Always nice to catch up with old friends. Speaking of old friends, a good friend of mine named Kihre appeared out of nooo where. I think she was gone for like...3 years? It was a really really long time, but randomly I saw her in qufim and she is back! Its always nice to see good people return to the game.

I've been pretty bored lately online, so been trying to do stuff to make it more interesting. Fought Draketrader with Cyp cyp. The fight was really easy though. I was actually looking up bst information while I wasn't kiting or nuking. No luck on the item for gil. Oh wells. I actually sold the cuch. mantle since I really wasn't using it and the AH price went up 400k.

Using the gil I finally got my first HQ staff. Apollo's price was going up but I decided to buy it anyway. Playing a solo job really doesn't allow you to be cheap on your equipment. With the staff and a few other upgrades though, I noticed my bst was doing a lot better. With some help from Souel, I was also able to reach 66! Maybe, I will have another 75 before the end of the year...bwahaha...who am I kidding...probrably not.

Been doing limbus a lil bit with Cyp's linkshell. Its been alrighty. I dunno...I have never won the fight against proto-omega before but I didn't find it all too exciting. The linkshell did do a great job taking it down, even with the deaths.

I've been in a little funk lately. It's like no matter what I do, I just can't find something to get me excited about the game. Hopefully I can get out of it...we'll see. Thats my little update for now. Hopefully I can enjoy the last few days of summer break.

Slowly trucking along. . .

Blearg...still trying to work myself into the habit of posting again. I really want to make sure I'm able keep this lil blog going. Its always nice to look back at fun times that you may or may not remember. @_@;; Anyhoo, nothing all too fancy has happened to me. The biggest thing to happen is I finally got blu to 60 and can finally wear the hat! Yay! I definitely need to look up more info on blu since I'm not too sure what equipment I'm supposed to be going for. . . str or int for spells? Magic attack or accuracy? Stuff like that. I suppose I'll have to put on my research hat on and find out! XD Anyways, onward to the adventures!

One night I wasn't feeling all too good and was pretty bored. Souel, aka gramps, however, knew exactly what I needed. Fighting tough mobs on thief! Our first prey was Zoraal Ja's Pkuucha. The first time him and me duo'ed, we ran into a little bit of trouble and wiped. However! We came back with a vengenge and killed the bird twice in two nights, netting the earring both times! Yay!

But Souel is not one to do something lightly. He always wants a challange. So after killing the bird one night we headed for Jaded Jody and had some crazy Malboro action. So long as utsu stays up to prevent vampiric spikes or whatever its called, the fight isn't too bad. Then again, Souel's enfeebles are what really allowed me to survive the tanking @_@;. But hey, we got the pants and we earned a little bit of gil that night. I really should thank him again...it was totally fun~!

Souel really wants some kind of cape from Sea. I dunno what the dealio is about the place since I really dont know stuff about it. But after farming for a few hours with Souel and Arnor, we finally got the mob to drop what he needed. Not the cape, but the pop item. Hopefully he gets that cape D:

Me and Cyp Cyp wanted to do something together so we decided to farm in Sea Serpent's Grotto. In reality...the gil wasn't really all that good ^^;. But it was nice to see Cyp's thief going at stuff. Still needs to work on a few things but I know he will be stronger and probrably better equiped then me in almost no time.

Actually did two sets of BCNMs but I only took pictures from the BCNM 40. Belen and Maroku were both super nice ^^. I didn't remember the fight plan on blm and I was worried I was gonna scare them off by asking all sorts of questions. However, with all the questions out of the way we safely (I think?) beat all three runs. And the group totally got lucky with both Belen and Maroku getting a utsu scroll! Although I didn't get anything I felt I at least contributed towards their's.

Also did the Kraken bcnm fight with Cyprias and...Shiu? I always mispell that poor taru's name. With rdm, blm, and cor that fight is easier then easy. I believe I was in fact reading a book and drinking tea while partaking in the fight. That poor kraken just got it's butt kicked. But I guess the fight is easy for a reason...because once again the club didn't drop. I suppose SE made the fight easy since the drop rate is only like..5%? lulz...you so crazy SE.

Well those are my adventures for the week or so. Hopefully there will be this month. This is my last month before school starts up again and I would really like to do more. Here's hoping to a good month. Oh oh, and if anyone needs a blue mage for a exp party (even level sync, I just need the exp D:) for the love of my tail, please invite me! I gotta get to 75 before Krystala does and she levels way too fast @_@;.

Bringing Back Memories

Hi hi blog. Another post, another set of stories to talk about. Strife has been going at it again in sky and sea. When we have the numbers, it definitely reminds me of the old times when we used to kick butt. One night we actually took out Mother Globe, Steam Cleaner, and the Olla triplets. Was a very fun night ^^.

Sea is something I'm still very new to. I never really got into it so I totally don't know the layout of the area or the aggro ways of the mobs. Despite my lack of knowledge, I still had a great time. We killed that Ix'Drk mob and a Jailer! Super exciting! Great job linkshell @_@b

I was in the need of gil so I tried out the bcnm50. Sadly I only walked away with 17k. However, after farming for about a week, and selling off thief equipment that I wasn't really using, I was finally able to get a cuch. mantle! The piece is definitely an endgame piece, since the str, dex, and acc are more useful during those times. I tried the mantle on EP birds and sadly the mantle preformed worse compared to amet. +1. I tried it over and over, but amazingly, the numbers stood where they were. Hopefully I'll get the chance to see them shine on some IT mobs.

I'm more ashamed then proud of this last fact...but I actually finished my corsair relic armor (not including the accessory). I mean, everything just kept going to free lots, and no one had a corsair higher then mine. I'm super shocked and humble for the set. I honestly thought I was gonna finish bst first. I hope I can continue to give my best to my dynamis linkshell, even if its red mage. @_@;

My computer has been acting up so I might be on even less. I hope everyone is able to finish their July on a happy note. I'm sorry if I'm a lil negative or quiet to anyone...I've just been dealing with a lot of stuff. Stay strong peeps.

Once again it has been a while. A whirlwind of stuff happened to me at the end of the year and it took a while for it all to clear up. I won't dwell into it, but changes have been made. If anyone wants to know more I'll be happy to discuss it in person. Anyways, I'm in the middle of changing the blog somewhat. Trying to find a better way to list the relic armor I'm getting as well as formatting the other stuff. Nothing personal, but I removed a few people off the list of blogs. I hadn't talked to most of people I removed in months. There will be other changes as well sooner or later so we'll see what happens @_@.

As the title states it, I will be getting serious again about the game. My dynamis linkshell has been nothing but amazing and I will continue to do my best on red mage for them. Strife has been reformed and although the future is hazy, I will try my best to help out the linkshell as much as possible. I was young when I first joined the ls and I don't think I realized how lucky I was to be in that linkshell until now. I hope I can help Strife in it's future, whatever it holds.

My blue mage has reached 58, thanks to a exp party and a lotta help from Arnor. It has continued to keep me interested and I look foward to exploring more and more of its capabilities as I continue to level it.

May was the full first month in which I only updated once. Wow. School has been kicking my butt lately with me finishing two project that each clocked in 15+ hours of work on top of my homework and studying. Despite sleeping less and working more, I still had time to do a few things~.

Like a K-Club run with Korbon and Shylo! I haven't been able to do the static with Fraggles and Arnor in quite a while so I decided to try my luck on the kraken club fight. Like last time I had no luck but it was really nice doing something with the two. Thanks for inviting me guys! Once I get more seals I'll totally send a tell your way. :O

Even though my linkshell does dynamis every four days, I have only been able to make it to 2 of the...past...8. @_@;;; I feel really bad that I miss out on it because the linkshell has been nothing but awesome. The two runs I went to were both Dynamis-Beau. and I was able to get the red mage body as well as the corsair body pieces from the area (Both as free lots to boot!). My little collection of armor has grown a bajillion times faster then I expected and I'm running out of space fast. I'm hoping I can finish a set or two so I can store it @_@;. Hopefully when I have more time I can put more time into the linkshell to repay the generosity that they have shown.

Hunting blu spells! Special thanks to Cyprias, Arnor, Coejus, and Sallys here for hunting down blue mage spells lately. Besides one super duper good party with Cyprias, my blue mage solo'ed from 41 to 49 using Fields of Valor. I'm a lil torn over the idea of leveling that way. Although the exp is decent (3K or higher an hour), I'm worried I will have to practice using burst affinity and chain affinity in a party set up. Using them solo is one thing but I really wanna get the job down in a party set up as well. I guess there will always be chances in the future.

With blue mage at 52, I have hunted down most of the AF pieces. I must admit I was very dissapointed with the AF quests for blue mage. Red mage and rangers both had interesting stories revolving around their AF with thief having (in my opinion) an amazing storyline that involved *spoilers!!* lost Tavnazian treasure, the Tenshodo, and a famous band of thieves that were believed to have disbanded long ago. I still need to get the AF hat for blue mage, but the first quest was mediocre at best. And three pieces are simply just bought. I mean...thats even worse then coffers! Sure, you don't gotta spend an hour or two farming up keys and hunting them down, but I really didn't feel I accomplished or earned the armor by just walking over to the AH and buying the materials that I needed to have them made. Hopefully the corsair AF storyline will be better.

It's already June. Time has been flying by super duper fast. Best of luck to everyone and I hope I can have more adventures to tell in the future~!

Frazzled Brain

Wow. I haven't updated in a super long time. School has been demanding a super lot from me and what little time I've had I have been wanting to adventure. I've busy leveling corsair and blue mage when I could but I also have been able to do a little item hunting. So onward to stories!

First off equipment. I actually only did one run of Dynamis since last time I wrote but it was Dynamis-Beaucedine. And I actually didn't d/c this time! So it was actually like doing the Dynamis area for my first time! And as a little bonus, I also got a nice pair of Monster Gaiters! My fourth piece of AF for bst. Maybe its because I'm not going after equipment that a lot of people want, but I have definitely been super lucky with drops. Anyways, I realized that I have actually accumulated quite a lot of relic pieces so I plan on charting them on my blog to keep track. I have trouble realizing what I have even when I'm looking straight at the list so hopefully it will help me remember what I have. The list I have isn't working though so I'm gonna try to think of a way to better say exactly what piece I have.

Corsair~! Partying in the past is always nice, but gosh...since when the heck were ladybugs so effing strong!?! I find it very scary that a little bug killed over half our party. I know they are strong but it's just embarassing to go down from something super tiny. Anyways, thanks to Cyprias making the parties, I was able to get a few levels. Corsair might be on a break for a while though, because blue mage has been super exciting lately.

Not a fancy post, but just a little something so I don't forget the little adventures I have. Now I could totally go for a nap...before more homework @_@;.

Blue Magic - Its like an abusive friendship

Oh blue magic. Sure, every spell is free. But why must it be so difficult to get spells from time to time? I don't go for spells that are 10 levels above me. Oh no. I'm going for spells that are just 1 to 3 levels above me. Heck, usually I solo my spells. But when a mob has too many TP moves, you really don't need to make it a lower percentage.

I had a free night the other day and I was able to get blue mage to 40. Blue mage is definitely a fun job. But getting the spells from time to time can be annoying. It's like having a really good friend who has that one annoying thing about them but you ignore it anyway because you still find the person to be nice. @_@; I dunno. I'll see where the the job takes me. I must admit I didn't find the idea that the two blue mages that were girls seemed the weakest of the five for the AF weapon quest. I mean come on...if one of those was a mithra npc, I'm sure she would of been the toughest of the bunch. I'm probrably just overreacting but I just thought it as a little silly.

Something else I have picked up since the last update. Nyzul Isle Investigation Static Group! Gramps, aka Souel came out of the woodwork and asked if I wanted to join a Nyzul Static group. After a little discussion I decided to join up. It is pretty hard to turn down an offer from the "Lord of Dance". Don't hide it Souel, I saw you in those tights...they definitely fit ya quite well. Anyhoo, our first day we had a little trouble with lamps, but our second day the group was able to farm up two denali hats. Thank ya Henita, Lilyoda, Milie, Rifuburade, and Souel. My blu and cor will definitely use the hat ^^b. And as a little bonus, after the group disbanded I realized I accidently still had a ??? hat on me so I got it examined. And what do you know! It turned out to be a spelunker's hat! Thats right peeps, I finally got the famous negative O-hat! XD

April is definitely ending on a good note. My workload is still increasing as my classes continue, but I will still be able to do a few things here and there hopefully. I'm sorry again about the sporadic posts. Have a wonderful day everyone~!

Blue. The other other colored magic.

Its been quite a while since my last post. I have been super busy with homework and other stuff. An average of three to five hours of homework a night does not give me much time to do stuff. However, with the little time that I have I try my best to do stuff. With corsair kind of stagnating due to complications with Cyprias as well as gil issues, I have decided to level blue mage some more. With Arnor helping me getting spells here and there, my alchemy giving me nice HQ'ed swords, and level sync making parties nice and simple, blue mage has been relatively easy.

However! There are still situations here and there in which people act a little rudely. I had a party in Yhoator jungle. The puller was a japanese bard. We had actually moved camps and he didn't know he was going to be puller so he came /whm. Anyhoo, the pld didn't have his provoke ready and the bard died since the tank couldnt pull it off of him quickly enough. In his broken english, the taru asked why there was no provoke. Even though we all knew the taru was japanese, the pld began to yell at the taru defensively, blaming him for dying. I was able to explain to the taru that the pld didn't have voke ready yet, but by the time I had finished explaining the situation the pld and his two friends had left the party without a single word or explination. Wonderful job you three. Its because of idiots like you that make japanese players dislike americans.

I just do not understand why people have to be so agressive against each other. If people could just take a deep breath and relook at the situation, I'm sure many problems would be solved quicker and easier.

Last but not least. Dynamis! Sadly, dynamis is one of the few things that has taken a hit from all the extra school work that I'm doing. However! I did get to go to my first Dynamis-Xarcabard! We didn't really get any drops, and I died quit a bit. But it was super interesting. Hopefully someday I can get those fancy thief gloves out of the area.

Well I just finished the last of my calculations for one of my classes and I am semi energetic on tea. It's pretty late and I'm having trouble sleeping so I thought...what better way to put yourself to sleep then to write a little confession. Those always require some form of energy.

So here it goes. Ahem...*cough*. The confession that I have to make is that I enjoy watching other people react and eat dirt in campaign. Now hear me out before you throw rocks at me. Nine out of 10 times in campaign I am often disgruntled with the other peeps around me. Either you have white mages who whack away with their clubs and don't cure the person who is tanking the mob, or you have some lousy DD or tank who can't turn the mob for crap but is killing your monster anyway. Don't get me wrong, I realize its campaign so we all have to share mobs...but it wouldn't hurt if you could from time to time grab hate so the thief who has been tanking for 4 minutes can catch a quick breath and use some bolts to regain life or get her utsu timers back up.

There are however, indeed those moments in which I feel blessed and lucky to be fighting along sides people who know what they are doing. Although it is always nice to do campaign with friends, I always get that little smile when some stranger is actually kind enough to throw a cure my way. I feel like saying..."thank you and great job being awesome." In fact, there was a taru rdm who I campaigned next to for over two hours and he kept me alive over and over, making sure my hp never dipped too low. Despite thanking him over and over, I never got a reply. But thank you Onimoon. You definitely got a gold star in my book. A second one for being one robust little taru rdm.

Anyhoo, back to what started this. Like I said before, from time to time I get disgruntled with some fellow adventurers who are fighting besides me and I'm admiting to finding pleasure in watching them run away from a NM or a mob they somehow "magically" got aggro from. That brings me to a little trick I learned a long time ago which can only be done with thief. Should you have hate from a mob that aggro's from sight and use hide, the monster will then go after the next person who has more hate. But what should happen if the thief uses hide and was the only one to touch the mob? Ah, the monster then insteads aggro's the first player it sees. Whenever a group of people either don't cure at all or are just not pulling their weight, I often grab a mob (NM if there is one avaliable) and run it into the crowd and then use hide. As I stand there invisible and out of harms way, I cannot help but laugh like Shantotto as I watch people scatter as quickly as possible to the new threat, and people falling one by one as the NM chases down as many victims as possible.

Is what I do considered mean and rude? Probrably. Have I ever been yelled at for doing it? Amazingly no. Although Ichrius wasn't too happy when I took him down with me that one time. Will I continue to show strangers the wrath of my mischievous ways? Of course! I mean all thieves gotta have their revenge one way or another. Oh ho ho ho~.

How aweful my bst was in a exp pt. Maybe it was because I didn't have a pet jug that was strong against the current mob. Or maybe it was because my armor was super weakened by level sync. I honestly have no clue, but pting on my bst was pretty awkward turtle. Until I ate sushi, I had trouble hitting the darn mobs, and my pets couldn't hit the darn colibri's if their lives depended on it (and it did!). Bleh...either way, I gotta thank Cyp cyp for inviting me. Although I didn't carry my weight, at least I got to 65. There is supposedly a very good duo camp at this level. A fellow bst friend of mine won't show it to me until I pt with him there...lol ~.~;.

I hope everyone had a wonderful March. I have finally unlocked Dynamis Beaucedine & Xarcabard. Sadly I dc'ed for most of Beaucedine...so I didn't really earn that either...bleh. But thats ok! It gives me more of a reason to keep giving 150% in Dynamis. Amazingly, I find it quite fun to go to dynamis as a rdm. Maybe because I rarely have to look over a pt and cure. I just need to sleep mobs and protect the blms...and occasionally watch a few blms hit the ground ^^;. I never thought I would hear myself say it, but Dynamis is really one of the few things keeping me on now a days.

Which brings me up to another point. Despite the best intentions, I believe I'm gonna shut down KoalaPandas. Besides 2 other people...no one really uses it. Everyone is just so busy ^^;. But thats alright! Everyone can still keep in touch with tells and messages. And I'm sure the spirit of the KoalaPandas will continue to live on.

Its already April, and time still hasn't listened to my polite request to slow down. Due to my large classload this quarter, I probrably won't be on consistently. However, that won't stop me from adventuring. Should anyone need help with something. Send a tell my way or leave a message. I'll get back to ya ^^/.

New armor that I got by pure luck! :O

Hey hey everyone! First off let me say I will be gone all next week for spring break. Gotta recharge my sleep battery and eat tasty home cooked meals ^^. But fear not, for I have adventures to speak of! Nyzul Isle! With salvage out of the way, its definitely nice to be able to help out your friends when they need help with Nyzul Isle! Been doing a few runs with Arnor and I did a single run with Coejus. Three of my four runs saw armor drops so its definitely been quite fun. I even got goliard body. . .yay ^^;. Anyhoo, looking at it....well...quite honestly I'm not all too good with mage stats so I'm not sure what its good for with my rdm. Forix said it would be a good piece of armor to wear if I was chainspelling the heck out of stuff, which is true. I'll just test the armor and dynamis and see how it does. So yah. Lotta fun. Hopefully I find more armor with my friends ^^;. Oh, and if you know a good situation to use goliard body, let me know. I wanna use it correctly.

Dynamis! Dynamis has been going pretty swell. Nothing but wins. Little to no deaths for me. I'm definitely a very happy camper. I even get to dance with taru like Eltaru! Wooo! Definitely gotta give a big super duper thanks to Talliah and Mikumaru for pulling the strings to get me in. The linkshell is great! My collection of armor continues with me getting cor gloves! I'll lvl the job soon. I swear!

Random NM time! I got bored so decided to camp this tiger. I'm not sure if I popped it or if it was already there. The area is quite huge. Regardless, I killed it and I even got the drop. It was a nice little farming experience. Except fighting the gnole...yeah. That was a big mistake. No creature should be allowed to cure itself for that much effing HP. Stupid gnoles...

My beastmaster has finally leveld to 64! Experience is flowing nicely and I'm pretty sure I can hit my goal by having bst lvled to 75 by the end of the year ^^. Anyways, there is a nice pair of bst pants that you can get from the treasure caskets in Sauromugue Champaign. I tried getting the pants to no luck but I did run into this cockatrice. Sadly the bird didn't drop the item needed for the belt. The game just doesn't want me to level monk. Honestly! I will be quite honest and say I hate the game mechanic of treasure caskets. The idea of having a rare 10% chest drop from a mob that from that 10% only half of them will be the casket that drops treasure. And from that half the pants I want is only a 7%ish drop. Thats a .35% chance per a monster that I will get a pair of pants. Not 35%, not 3.5%, .35%. Thats a third of a percent!!! If I wanted to kill a crap ton of monsters hoping to get a rare drop I would play WoW. Thats right, I spoke the forbiddin words. But I didn't play the darn game for a reason. So get the darn WoW mechanic out of FFXI darnat!!! >_<

No Stuffy Nose Will Stop Me

*Sniiiiff* Ugg...Darn colds. Hi hi peeps. I hope you're all doing better then me @_@;. My cold has been kicking my butt lately. However, even that will not stop me from adventuring! So here is my little update of what I have been doing.

I had some extra time on my hands so I decided to join my dynamis linkshell in a limbus run. It was very fun to use thief. Dynamis is rdm only for me, so getting to strut in my thief equipment is always nice. XD Limbus will probrably be a more sporadic thing for me, but hopefully I can get some decent things out of it ^^;.

Dynamis has also been going pretty well. I finally got my Dynamis-Jueno win so I can finally go to Dyn-Beucedine!! :O Here's hoping to new treasures! Oh yes, as for dynamis armor I am now 3/5 for thf, 3/5 bst,1/5 rdm, 1/5 rng, and 1/5 for cor ^^b. My little collection is coming along nicely. Here's hoping to some more~.

Campagin! I totally haven't done it in quite a while. If you want to make sure you stay in good shape with a job, campagin is definitely a great place to train. I got to mess around with my evasion set and it definitely helped with tanking. Still had to thank a lotta peeps for curing me though ^^;. Anyhoo, thanks to campaign I got my third spell interruption merit! I am now 40k exp away from finishing my merits for thief. Thats right peeps! Only 40k to go! I'm definitely looking foward to finishing thief. Best. Job. Ever.

Last but not least. Assaults! I've been doing quite a few lately, many of them with Arnor. I am now only 14 away from the Captain rank. Not bad seeing how I was over 20+ away a few weeks ago @_@;. Assaults are also going to be kind of sporadic, but hopefully I can get them done sooner or later.

Anyhoo, thats my little update for now. I have finals coming up so I probrably won't be on for that much. I definitely need to sit down and study a lot. Like...a super lot ^^;;;. My stuffy nose demands tissues. My sore throat demands warm tea. And my head is wobbling as bad as a bobble head. Time for sleep! Have a good one everyone ^^.

March, Battlefield of Ideals

Haven't updated in a while. Been very busy lately with stuff outside of my adventuring so I honestly don't have anything super mind boggling or amazing to tell. First things first though, I should talk about my adventures. With what little time I have, things have been going alrighty. I got super lucky on a dynamis-windurst run and ended up getting my thief hat, ranger gloves, and puppetmaster gloves. ^^ It was a really nice run, even though the linkshell's megaboss was a little disatisfied with the linkshell's performance. Doubt he will ever read this, but I promise to give 200% next time boss!

Also wanted to thank everyone's kind words on my birthday a few days ago. Although I tried to hide the date, a few peeps still used their detective skills to find it. Keep it a secret darnat! I don't wanna grow up XD. With a little nudge from the bestest monk ever Cyp cyp, I've decided to see what I can do to make a decent evasion set. It's coming along nicely ^^.

This is mainly a little post for me to remember what was going on at this time. So if you don't want to hear ramblings from a crazy mithra, please skip this paragraph. Anyhoo, I have been super busy with school, and some of my thoughts on it reflect to this game. I've never been super good at anything. My parents always kind of nudged me at stuff but I was always intimidated by people who were better then me. Anyhoo, in my academic career I am struggling quite a bit with my classes and find it very difficult sometimes. Part of me wants to give up saying its too difficult. (Just typing aimlessly ^^;) However...there is a small part of me that wants to keep trying. Very similar to where I am with thief, my academic career has reached a point where I can no longer do stuff in a lazy manner and still reap the rewards. The upgrades that my thief needs will need a lot of work. The career choice that I have chosen will require much work as well. However, I believe I can pull it off. I may never be the best in either catagories. There are those after me who may even pass me and accomplish things quicker. However, that does not negate the hard work I have and will continue to put into them.

As much as I love this game, there will be times in the upcoming few months in which I may disappear for a few days into my pile of books. Hopefully during my breaks I can then disappear from my work back into adventuring. And even to the side I have other things to take care of as well. XD However! I am more determined then ever to accomplish my goals. As difficult as they may be, the fire lit under my butt by a taru blm will push me on! So my fellow adventuring buddies, let us push ourselves foward. To newer treasures! To new life lessons! To our passions!!! *Runs off*

Calling All Koalas and Pandas

First a little update on myself and then a huge update for my little linkshell. Bst is going great like always. I've been making small upgrades here and there and the job has continued to be consistantly strong. There are still situations that I sometimes cannot handle (a failed charm + 3 links + mob I was trying to fight = death @_@;). However, beastmaster has proven itself to get itself out of situations I would of died in if I was a rdm or had to flee from if I was a thf. Theres that satisfying feeling of being able to stand and fight in those really difficult situations. I am definitely super duper looking foward to taking bst to 75.

As a little note I have also lvled blu a little bit. The job is super buff and fun as I remembered. Valkrum Dunes is also as evil and mean as I remembered. LOL >_>....

Now down to business! This is for all of you Koalas and Pandas who still read this. I have a super duper big favor to ask of you. KP's membership is low. Like super low low. Now, I know everyone is super busy with their endgame stuff. I know when the ls was made and when the pearls were sent out, I made sure everyone knew there was no commitment to the linkshell. However, due to the low membership, KP is gonna start recruiting new members. All levels welcomed and only friendly peeps need apply. Anyhoo, this is where the favor comes in. To all KP members, if you know of anyone needing a friendly helpful ls, or want to spread the word about us. Please do~. I plan on trying my hardest but if more people can get the word out it would be great.

Welp I'm finally back. I want to thank everyone for the warm and loving "welcome backs" I got, both in game and on the blog. Having super duper amazing friends like you guys is what makes me keep coming back to the game ^^.

Anyhoo, I haven't had any super duper amazing adventures yet. I got beastmaster to 61, and Assassin's Vest from Dyn-Bastok. I always remember laughing at how silly Kallo looked wearing it in sky. The armor doesn't make elvaan look any more "awsome" as he would say. However! It is in fact a cute piece of armor and despite having awful stats...I think I might keep it out of storage for a bit.

So! Now that I'm back I gotta get back into business. So here's what I got planned!

Dynamis! I plan on going to as many runs as I can. Although I don't have points, I'm definitely gonna keep my eyes on thf, rdm, bst, rng and cor armor. Its always nice to get a piece here and there ^^.

Sea~! I really need to get my last UFO organ. So if anyone needs a thf or rdm for farming, you let me know! I also might start sea and limbus with my dynamis shell. There are a few things I would like from those areas.

Nyzul Isle! Now I know I had talked to many peeps before my computer blew up, so it has been a while and things change. If you're interested in a Nyzul Isle static that will focus on getting to floor 100 first and then items, send a msg or tell my way!

Assaults! Me and Arnor plan on static'ing and if anyone would like to join let us know! We wanna get that captain rank.

Leveling - I'm still trying to rework my schedule but I plan on lvling beastmaster. Its definitely a nice relaxing job for me. Although the experience isn't omg-amazing, the go at your own pace is very nice. Like get a little experience here, then take a break and do a few math problems, and repeat ^^;.

Happy New Years everyone! I went to celebrate the new years with fireworks like any super excited person yet I accidently threw one into the water and created an evil vortex which then spawns pugils the size of galkas!!! @_@ Well not really. Just some random picture of the ocean after I helped Okwaho get a few blue mage spells. Its always nice to see improvements of people in your linkshell. Sure we don't do endgame or anything, but you don't have to in order to enjoy you and your friends get buff! Anyhoo, so much has happened lately like a crazy super flash that I already have so much to talk about!

Subligar farming! Krystala, Arnor, Kry's thf friend Rivkkah, and myself decided to go subligar farming! Despite dying a few times, I walked away with two subligars! Everyone but Arnor got what they came for. :X Its ok though Arnor! Some day you and me are gonna go in there and get you the pair of under-roo's you want! Just you wait!

Swift Belt!! KoalaPanda's run is still scheduled to occur in about two weeks or so. However, Kallo randomly asked if I would like to join him and I said sure. It was quite fun listening to other peeps make fun of Kallo (he wears pink what!?!) and I learned a lot about the NMs that I'm going to have to fight when I take my linkshell inside. Both good and bad I suppose, but out of the multiple codex's we traded, I was the only one who got a swift belt @_@;. So 1/1 on the belt. Yay~. My thf's haste set is now sitting at a comfy 20% but I might lower it to increase store TP. I had a interesting discussion with another thief and we talked about equipment and combinations that might have some interesting results! So more info on that later. Oh yes, scheduled Subligar farming is Sat. 24th of January. So keep your calendars open peeps!

Just a random picture of a NM I always wanted to see. Super duper Cassie! This was actually taken last year but I totally forgot to post it. I wasn't in the group that claimed but I sat and watched them fight it. It seemed like a very difficult battle and I learned a few things to look out for should I ever fight the thing.

Ranger leveling! I wasn't paying attention much and right when my group was gathering to begin our killing spree, I noticed Hye was in my party! She's been super busy lately with school and what not so I hadn't seen her in a while. But let me tell ya! She is one crazy good scholar. And I'm not saying that just because she cooks me delicious food which I share with my moogle. Spells and AoE's flying everywhere, its thanks to her that my ranger died less and the party got more exp. So next time you need a super mage and you see Hye online. Definitely send that cat a tell! She be buff!

Although it took me a little longer then I hoped. I finally finished leveling ranger to 75. Ranger to me definitely lost a lot of its fun towards the end. Unlike my thief which can survive tanking 3-4 mobs at once in campaign, my ranger would just get poked and fall to the ground. I never realized such low defense ranger had. It honestly is as bad as my red mage I think....@_@; Sadly, I didn't get the same feeling of reaching 75 as I did with thief. Reaching 75 on thief was a super exciting occasion which I was super proud of. Getting ranger to 75 was almost a sigh of relief. So much of the last few levels just seemed like boring repetition since they require so much experience. I'm still very happy for accomplishing ranger to 75. Ever since I looked at advance jobs as a low level thief, I always wanted to level ranger to 75. Not to use it as my super buff DD job, but more as proof of what I am capable of. So thanks for the memories ranger. You weren't amazing but you definitely had your moments!

Picture on mountains from atop the big hill thingy in Attohwa. Me and Cyp cyp tried duo'ing the Antlion ENM. It ended very badly and I wasn't too happy about it. You just can't win them all >_<;.

BCNM 60! Up in Arms! Trio'ed the fight with Eggshen and his elvaan friend. They were a very interesting pair of people. Sadly none of us got a kraken club. The drop rate for that club is rediculous. I'm definitely gonna stick to the lower bcnms.

Anyhoo, thats my huge post to start off the year! Its the year of the ox so hopefully its better then last! I'm really awful at keeping promises but heres my little list of what I want to accomplish this year!

End of the Year!

Dun Dun DUN!!!! We're almost there to the end of the year everyone! Hang in there! We're almost done! I went to Gustav Tunnel to hunt me down a O-Bow for my ranger and ran into this gobby. Some easy gil. Sadly the O-bow NM wasn't so easy and Eagle Eye Shotted me. Luckily Arnor was kind enough to come back and help me kick his butt. So now I got me another weapon for my ranger! Yay!

Nyzul Isle! I joined Cyprias and Shui for a Nyzule Isle run. Askar body dropped and Cyprias almost won it but he was outlotted. Its all good. There is always next time!

Which reminds me! Not sure how many peeps read this but I am currently putting a Nyzul Isle Static group together and I have three positions open! I plan on taking us to the top first and then going back and getting us armor. If you're interested and want more details. Send me a msg or tell ^^/.

Helped Nicole get her Sewer Syrup kill! Well I didn't do much. Anor and Nicole pretty much smacked the daylights out of it while I poked it a bit with a few of my spells ^^;. Anyhoo, congrats to Nicole and her fancy new ring!

Gosh...the end of another year. I had no clue I would end the year like this. My endgame linkshells are done. My friends and once fellow ls mates are all over doing exciting stuff and some even competing against each other. I've made all sorts of new friends and strengthened bonds with many who have stuck around with me ^^b. All in all. This year wasn't the bestest ever...but it was good. There was definitely more good then bad, and FFXI has definitely evolved with new quests, missions, and gameplay. Level sync, the moblin mazes, fields of valor, random treasure chests. So much I still need to explore and do ^^. Got to do many fights for the first time including ENMs, ISNMs, ZNMs, and even random NMs like AF fights or treasure mobs. Yet there is even more out there just waiting to be completed

What adventures lay waiting to be explored. What friends and foes are just beyond the horizon and waiting to be met! I dunno but I can't wait! So lets ring in the New year everyone! I know life is sometimes tough, but remember the good, memorize the fun, and enjoy it!!!

The Vacation Shuffle

Yaaaaar! Hello my little blog! Long time no...see-yar~!!! XD Anyhoo, I think this is going to be the longest post ever! I totally kept forgetting to update so I have a lot of things to talk about. Time to scribble!

Wings of the Goddess missions!!! Me and Cyprias have gotten pretty far in them and are almost done with what has been released so far. Although the beginning few CS of the series kind of turned me off (come on SE, really? like 4 CS right out of the box? boo on you), SE has definitely redeemed themselves with the storyline and the cutscenes. When it comes to surprises and awsome action, the cutscenes of the missions and quests are by far some of, if not the best, I have seen so far. It was definitely super fun laughing at all the great stories and sitting at the edge of my seat for some of the action cutscenes. I'm definitely looking foward to doing more of them.

Decided to poke my nose around and explore Fei'Yin a bit. I ran into a NM but sadly the shadow didn't want to drop anything that night. Oh wells. Fei'Yin really doesn't have much to offer so don't go out there unless you really need something from there. More boring then I thought >_<;;.

I did help a stranger with the RDM AF fight though, sadly it cursed me and made my exploring much slower then I anticipated. Help a person and get cursed! Sometimes luck just doesn't work for ya. @_@;

Campaign! Something to do from time to time when I need to work on my buffers. Exp parties are a pain to find on thief so instead I go out and kick some beastman butt. However, sometimes campaign gives ya bad situations like the one above @_@;;;. The yagudo was AoE'ing every 10 seconds for like 800 dmg, lets just say people died very quickly almost instantly. However, despite difficult fights and very difficult NMs, campaign has proven to be a very good training area for my thief to ensure my abilities stay top notch and are not forgotton. That and its always fun to fight with thief. Despite being my main job, there isn't a lot I can bring it too so I love to push my dmg numbers out as much as possible ^^b.

Dynamis! For those who know me for a long time. I never had kind words for dynamis. Perhaps it was because I was the sac puller for my first dynamis LS and lost over 30K exp but since I was too low to wear it they didn't let me lot on stuff. Or perhaps its because out of the three dynamis linkshells I was in and all the runs I went to, I only had a single win. Anyhoo, the current LS I joined for it has more then definitely changed my outlook on dynamis. If a single person needs a win, the linkshell gets it for them, with little to no trouble. Although their lotting system is kind of confusing and I'm not sure if I'm getting points, I respect their system and I know I will get the big stuff sooner or later. (Most likely later lol). But hey! I technically don't have points for the areas yet but I already have three of the five beastmaster AF2 already! Wooo~. Anyhoo, SpiritEvolution is definitely a good linkshell and I hope to not let them down.

Ranger! I currently have gotten it to 71 and am getting towards the end. The job is proving to have been a great investment for fun. Although not easy on the wallet, I don't regret leveling the job one bit. Although I forgot to take a picture I did get to party with Krys, Nicole, and 3 funny british people. Just wanna have a special shout out to all of them for having a great exp pt and for making me laugh ^^b.

The Duke~. Was helping Nicole farm a coffer key for her Pld AF. After we got the key and coffer, I realized something. Now that Castle V is no longer a good farming spot, people rarely go there! In fact, three of the four NMs were up when me and Nicole were there. Although one killed us, we came back and killed the other two for revenge. Yay team kick butt!

PLD AF fight! Some more helping of the fellow linkshell peeps! Super easy fight thanks to Nicole, Arnor, and Krys. So buff we even got a link and it didn't phase us one bit! Congrats to Nicole getting her pld all buff. Let me tell ya, Nicole is a crazy good pld. Her vokes and hate control was so quick I only got hit once when pulling, good stuff!

The new goblin maze thingy do-hicky! The first night was pretty bad. Me and cyprias tried unprepared and I ended up dying and Cyp had to zone. We definitely learned quickly it wasn't something you could easily solo or duo with any job. Anyhoo, although me and Cyp's night was kind of a bust, KoalaPandas came back the next day and we kicked butt! Not just one run but two! Very proud of em! Go Arnor, Krys, and Nicole~!

With that many of us got us eyepatches! Definitely a very cool piece of equipment that I like a lot ^^. I only have a few things lying around because they look awsome when wearing and the eyepatch is now one of em!

Anyways, much as happened since my last post. I quit my salvage linkshell due to personal reasons and like I said earlier I am jumping back into dynamis. SE has ruined Cyprias' and mine farming spot so I'm currently still hunting a spot I can farm on thief. We'll see...

I also killed Diabolos with the Doody couple and Arnor as well as done a few assaults with Arnor, Cyprias, and some nice strangers. Sadly I keep forgetting to take pictures ._.; Anyways, thats my large update for now. I'll try to do them more often, but no promises during the holidays @_@;.

New Battles! No treasure! XD

So much stuff has been going on I totally forgot to do another update! >_<; I really need to work on that...how else am I supposed to remember all my great adventures and fights! My ranger is currently 68 and I hope to have it 75 by the end of the year. The job is definitely a lot of fun but my wallet will be glad when I put it away once I reach 75. I forgot his name but I want to write a little note thanking the unkown galka for helping me get Francisca. He pretty much solo'ed Aquarius while I cheered him on. Very nice of him to give me the drop. Yay to nice strangers!

ISNMs! I had never done them before so when Arnor asked if I would help him out with the fights with my red mage I quickly agreed to help. I didn't have the orders so I didn't get any treasure. However, the fights were a great learning experience and the group of people were all very friendly and nice. Sadly no one got any really big treasure but it was still super fun!

BCNM with Lilyoda! We attempted to do the Under Observation fight with two black mages and a scholar. Both of the team's orbs ended with us dying and not getting anything, but the fight definitely taught me much about the fight. I'm pretty sure if I do this fight next time I will stick to the red mage and two ninja strategy.

ENM! This time this is the Reqium of Sin one I believe. Of course you couldn't tell from my picture. I apologize but throughout most of the fight I was running away from an evil rabbit so this was the only picture I could take during the fight. The fight is definitely very fun and I'm quite interested to see what kind of treasure we can get from it. Although I'm second in line for it, X's knife would be super awsome o_ob. Anyhoo, much love to Cyprias, Accolade, and...Shiu (or is it Shui?) for doing an amazing job. I look foward to kicking more butt with them later.

Head butting yagudos! Well not really... Again I got another bad picture and before I could take another the fighting was already done. Cyprias and myself spent a night doing some of the quests needed for the WotG missions. The storyline of the quests are quite exciting and some of the cutscenes are almost up there with some of the mission ones! I can't wait to see what else is going to happen in the past!

No pictures from salvage but boy do I have stories about it! We have been going after some different chariots and have been progressing against them quite well. We have taken down Battleclad Chariot down to 20% and ran out of time and then 1% and wiped (and ran out of time). Although its never fun to lose, our linkshell is having noticeable progress on the boss. Although I really don't enjoy the job, I plan on meriting red mage a little more once I have the spare time. Oh, and on a side note congrats to Gimpers on his completed Usu feet and Kaysa on 35 macha pants!

Hey Everyone! Hope everyone is doing alrighty. I've been pretty busy and haven't been on a lot @_@;. I apologize to those I haven't talked to in quite a bit and I wanna make sure peeps know I'm doing okay! Just school has been super busy lately ^^;. But have no fear peeps! I'll make sure to keep on going on adventures and keep people posted on stuff.

I've been leveling ranger lately and have been enjoying it quite a bit. Thanks to the amazing Selene's Bow Arnor and Cyp got me, my ranger has been doing really good damage ^^. Heck, I think I'm missing some much needed upgrades but my ranger is able to just keep at it! Although its really fun it still isnt as amazing as my thief though. Haven't been able to use it too often but my damage output has been pretty good with it. My little upgrades here and there have really shown. Its really thanks to all my friends and linkshells though. I know my thief couldn't be as strong as it is without the super amazing help I've gotten along the way. I just hope I can make people proud with how I use my thief ^^;.

*Gasps for air under my pile of notes* Ack! Hi everyone. Been super busy with projects and miterms of late. Super tough stuff. I really haven't done all too much besides salvage lately. I haven't been to a dynamis run in weeks and I really need to check up with them. I also missed a week of ENM runs due to my lack of sleep and studying >_<;. But all is not bad. Salvage ls took down the chariot again and we got Gimper's usu 25 boots! Then we went off and got the 15 piece as well so now he is wearing himself a very nice pair of boots ^^. So congrats to Gimpers! Anyhoo, I don't have anything else big to say adventure wise. This November has been kind of stinky but I'm sure we can turn it around! I just know it! ^^

Holy moly some of you are saying! What the ef happened! Well like anything else in life, you gotta mix it up a bit! Change the normal routine! So after honestly hours of working at it (wait I copy and paste what?! What happened to my...omg the slashes make no sense!!!) the blog has gotten a new change up! I felt the last one was too heavy on the left side and was wasting space on the right so I hunted down one that felt like both sides of the page had weight to them. Anyhoo, who cares about the technical stuff behind it. On to the adventures!

Salvage has been progressing well. We took down LAC again and this time got Ares 25 hands and Skadi 25 body. Sadly it didn't drop the two 25 pieces we need to finish armor in the linkshell but at least we're getting the fight down quite well! We plan on going at him again until we get at least one of the pieces we need. We also tried taking out Battleclad Chariot but due to a tiny miscalculation, 4400 damage was spread to only 4 people and not all 9+pets and the four people died instantly @_@;. Anyhoo, it was very fun trying a run we had never done before and Cyprias is already brooding over his notes and charts to think of ways to get us that win. As for me, *fixes glasses* I plan on doing some research as well into the boss fights to hopefully help us increase our win ratios.

ENMs! Talliah, Arminius, Arnor, and Ne...oh jeeze *palms my forehead*...I wanna say Nema? Or is it Nemu? Okay I'll have to scribble the persons name down next time. But we're going at ENMs quite strong and have won every battle. The big drops haven't arrived yet but I'm sure we'll get em sooner or later! My tail can just feel it.

Thats my little update for now. I have put a whole CD up on a super duper amazing little group that isn't all too famous. Their cheerful music sings of happiness from the heart, and to do what you have to do to enjoy life with others. I hope their songs can help give an extra beat for you guys in life in case ya need it, even if ya don't understand it. I have some big tests lately and a few more to come so my updates are going to be quite sporadic. Please enjoy this month people. Most of us give thanks on a particular day, but there is nothing stopping us to give thanks for what we have every day! Koalas, Pandas, and Treasure!

Holy Moly! Its almost Halloween people! Get the candy! The costumes! I need more candy!! Hope everyone is feeling alright. I know the weather has cooled down a little bit for many and I hope you're all staying cozy! Gotta make sure you stay healthy enough to get some treats soon everyone! So, adventure time! KoalaPandas does it again with another fun event out of no where! Lilyoda sent me a tell a few weeks back asking for help to put a garrison together. Turns out there is a rare instrument that isn't on the AH too often and the garrison drops it. I hadn't done garrisons in quite a while but I always remembered them to be quite fun. So, with a few persistent ls messages, and asking peeps to come help, we had ourselves a little garrison run! Sadly we only had one pop item, (took us an hour and thirty minutes for it too!! >_<;) but we got the harp Lilyoda needed and some peeps walked away with some nice little prizes. Thank you KoalaPandas for showing up for your fellow linkshell mates again! And pat on the back for Ichrius who was kind enough to lend our linkshell some extra muscle.

More helping Koalas! Hermos needed some help on an AF fight so me, Cyprias, and Arnor decided to give the mobs a little eucalyptis tree lovin to the mobs! We took em out without breaking a sweat and Hermos got to walk away with some shiny drk AF. Congrats Hermos!

Last but not least, ZNM loving! Finally got to fight Dea and give that darn Rhino a fight. Hermos, Arnor, Forix, Beyond, Cyprias, and the taru's friend Strangeprime were nice enough to help me give Dea a good punch to the face! Forix kited while everyone whittled it down and me and Beyond kept people alive. Sadly Arnor had some bad luck (I'm so sorry for binding it next to you! Accident Honest!) and he was the mean death reciever for the night. I lost count after three but he made me laugh so hard my sides were hurting from the laughter and all the while Forix was running in circles crying out for refresh and hastes. After a good amount of time the group finally took out the mob and I got my Enkidu's Subligar! Although I do look better in them then Kallo, even my tush can't make the ugly subligar look amazing. Thief has always had ugly armor (besides AF!) and the Enkidu set just adds to it. Oh wells, the str bonus from the legs is very nice and my thief WS set is looking pretty decent lately ^^b. Thank you so much everyone again. Was very kind of ya to run at that rhino when he sure as heck knocked many of us back.

Thats my little update for now. ENMs appear to be kicking up again so hopefully the group can earn some gil next time. We haven't had much luck the first two runs but that just means the good stuff is right around the corner. Salvage is bringing the fight back to the bosses so should be fun to see us go at it. Keep kicking butt everyone!

Oh, and on a little note I finally got the music up again and this time its Halloween stuff...sort of! Anyhoo, I didn't know her that well and only talked to her a few times, but I did enjoy chatting it up with Selphiie. I know she quit the game and all, but every time I hear the first song I'm always reminded of her scary resemblance to the Grudge girl @_@;;;. Anyhoo, the first song is to you Selph! I know you're out there and I hope you're enjoying life to its fullest \^^/.

When Life Shoves Ya Down. . .

We all have those rough spots in life. You know, where curveballs are being thrown at you and you're not enjoying life. Where even the cookies don't taste as good as they should. No matter how hard you smile you can see it in your eyes: pain, anger, and frustrations of life. I don't remember the exact quote, but someone once said it were these moments in life that truly showed the character of a person. The moment when you're knocked down for like the 50th time and things are looking bleak. Do you lay there and quit? Or do you stand back up and fight. I admit I chose to lie down for a bit. Mistakes kept happening, even mistakes I didn't know I could make. Those are especially the worst...its like sneezing and finding out you somehow broke someone's favorite tea set. Not only are you shocked at what happened, you cant prepare yourself for the after effects of your mistake. You wan't to say its not my fault. You want to throw the blame on someone else. Anything else...but it all comes down to your runny nose as the problem. Ok...those were a bad comparisons...anyways, I don't know if I'll do any better this time around on my feet...but all you can do is try even harder right?

*Deep breathe* Gosh...what I would do for some fresh tea. Anyways, like my little rant said, I've been going through a rough time and I was having a tough time. I try not to show it too much but as a friend of mine pointed out and I quote, I'm just a "emotional, expressive, overreacting idiot". Owww...but she had a point. And it was those qualities in me that got me in that rough time. However, with the thanks of many of my friends, I've been feeling a lot better. Ranting helps, but its pretty hard not to cheer up with the silly BCNM picture that I got XD. Frag, Cyp and me decided to give the Jelly bcnm a go in hopes of some treasure. And what do ya know, thanks to a little luck, and a lot of cheering, we all got a little cut of gil thanks to a Utsu scroll. ^^

Turns out Lynq does the Prime fights quite often to earn gil for his Dynamis weapon. I only had two fights left to get a bauble to fight fenrir so thanks to Lynq, I'm ready to kill me the big honcho. I don't know how he does it...I'm guessing he has a trained parrot or something, but Lynq was able to play all three peeps in the picture and not let em die! Craziness! Thanks again Lynq.

Oh Salvage, you bring some of the greatest and worst feelings out of everyone. If you want to know what its like to have a crappy relationship, do salvage people! First few nights out it feels great and new. You love how different it is to everything else you've done before and it even drops random 15 pieces from time to time to tease you. But once you're in for a while? The repetition starts to wear at you a bit, the high difficulty curve due to set up of players and the runs themselves begins to make ya twitch. But when you finally do get a drop? It feels amazing. Not the yay~ feeling you get from sky or sea. I mean the OMG \@_@/ and you literally feel your heart not beat for two seconds before your head realizes you need to pump blood to live. Anyways, we've been doing bosses lately and we went 1/2 on LAC and 0/1 on LBC. Although I know salvage is difficult and what it demands from players is quite a lot, I still can't help but feel disgruntled at the peeps who have whole sets of armor. Almost a "why not me!" Kind of thing ya know? Although I love the linkshell I admit our win/loss ratio's overall are pretty awful. However, I'm not gonna get my panties in a bunch. Just gotta strap in tight, and get ready to kick some butt. So screw you few peeps who I heard were talking crap on my linkshell. I'll have Raikoh stick something in yer bum. Because he likes doing that...because he loves to talk...and say stuff...lol. I think I might do a little bio for all of the salvage members. They're all quite a happy go lucky bunch and I admit if it wasn't for all their great attitudes, I probrably would of left a long time ago.

Helping out a fellow KoalaPanda yet again! Although I have been very busy with school, with my commitments to certain statics and events, and enjoying farming and other activities with c-*cough hack hack*. Ah sorry furball. Sooo~! Despite being busy, I got to help Lynq with CoP 5-3! I think...at least thats the number I remember. Anyhoo, it was the one where you gotta fight a bunch of robots and a few other things along a very long path with doors. Except for Talliah getting in a little cuffle with a bat, the run through actually went very smoothly. So congrats to those who got the mission completed! One step closer to sea!

Anyways, thats my little drama filled post for the day. I apologize about not having music for this post but I already have my selection of music lined up for my next few posts ^^b. Gasp for Air

Blearg! I've been swamped with school work lately and I have all sorts of tests and quizes I been having to study for. Luckily my moogle doesn't look after me so I've still been able to sneak out from my pile of work for adventures! Like salvage! The darn bee up above has been super duper rude and hasn't dropped anything in a loooong long time. But what do ya know, by pure luck we got both a Skadi 35 mask and Usu 35 boots from it! Woooo! That puts me at 7/15 for the whole set. Hopefully I'll have some fancy pieces to show off for the ls. I can't wait ^^.

Well Talliah invited me to a ENM static and I always wanted to try out the fights. The gil is also nice since I can then put it to the side for my salvage armor. Anyhoo, while getting the item to enter the icy one, I got to poke and visit a very friendly dragon! This time I learned my lesson and stayed far back so he didn't try to eat me. Good times ^^.

The ENMs went pretty smoothly. One of the peeps didn't show up so Rig was kind enough to step in for us. We didn't get any amazing items but it was very nice and interesting to do these new fights. I'm always interested to see what kind of challages Vana'Diel provides and these ENMs seem challanging in a fair manner. Which is much nicer then some fights which are more evil then a monster that steals your cookies and pies at night. (The Mandy BCNM40 fight. . . *shudder*)

The only one I had experience on was the antlion fight. We were able to do the fight with little problems as well. We even saw Xolotl on the way there but just waved and kept going. Good stuff. Anyhoo, here's a picture of the actual chasm. I always thought it would be super cool if they had some deep cave down there to explore. I mean there has to be ancient stuff down there!

KoalaPandas lending a helping hand! Souel has been leveling pld as of late and needed help killing a NM that dropped a nice earring for him. Although this wasn't really a linkshell event, a few members came out to aid him in his conquest of a shiny earing! Although I had to take a quick break due to school (darn moogle caught me!), I was able to sign back on and help out souel. It was the least I could do since he's helped me out so much @_@; *nod nod*. Anyhoo, by pure luck the NM dropped the earring so congrats Souel! Not sure what it does since I hate tanking but I hope its something good!

Life has been kind of hectic lately for me, but I want to wish all my friends a very heartful thank you. The warm welcomes and hellos and kind hearts are always nice to come to when school and drama are kicking your butt. I also wanna give a very special thank you to Cyprias. For being there and trying much harder then he should to cheer me up. Thank you very much everyone. Lets keep making this October a wonderful one ^^b.

Now when you look at the picture. What do you think? Miry be busting out her moves? Arnor telling Miry a spider is on her back? Or perhaps she is doing tai chi? Well you're all wrong! I'm camping a NM of course! But not just a regular NM! A super NM!

Because with the help of Arnor, we went rabbit hunting season. Black Coneys to be exact. And let me tell ya, Arnor is craaaaazy fast with getting this NM. So fast I think he ran faster then when I had flee on. I would see the pop thingy for a second and with just one blink kaboomy! Arnor would have the mob. In fact his claiming skills were so impressive he actually made the other group camping it leave! Craziness! Anyhoo, we actually ran out of carrots after a stack so Cyprias was kind enough to run us another stack and stay for a fight for the 13th rabbit. And lo and behold, I gots me a Selene's Bow! Thank you Cyp for the delivery and thank you super duper ultra much Arnor. You. Kicked. Butt. Simple as that.

And I got Selene's Bow because I'm in the middle of leveling ranger! I'm still scratching my head over this one really...I really dont see myself ever using it again once I hit 75. Like...once I'm level it...it's just gonna gather dust. I know I was super impressed watching my kittypal Talliah kick butt with it...but...again...not really my cup of tea. Weird I know, but its like a random urge to level something just for the sake of leveling I suppose. Anyhoo, I've had some great parties and some awful parties due to level sync. I do think the new system is great but I agree with many people when they say some kinks need to be fixed.

OMG SUPER GIANT PENGUIN! I always love spinning the camera around to see what kind of angles I can get and I love the picture. ^^; I was collecting me some zeni and tada, gots me an awsome picture. I must warn you though, watching these penguins yawn dont just make you yawn. They put you to sleep. Heck, they put you to sleep from a mile away. Craziness! Anyhoo, I have enough points to hopefully get Arnor a fancy blade for his blue mage. I gots to get it for him. I just gotta!

Salvage! More salvage fun. Sadly the amazing taru Rafnir decided to hang his hat for good. Although I didn't talk much with him out of salvage, he was very good at what he did and I respected him. And let me tell ya. I don't respect all that many tarutaru. Anyways, I'll miss that little bugger and his antics and I hope he enjoys whatever he's doing to the fullest. Hecky and Jdogg, two other powerhouse members are currently out as well. I honestly don't know much about their status but I hope everything is alright for them and they know that they got a loving kick butt salvage linkshell waiting for them. Yar! Anyhoo, we got quite a lot of 15 drops lately. I think 3-5 in just one run. Very impressive. Bosses are coming up so it should be interesting to see what the linkshell does. Fingers crossed @_@b

Thats my little update for now. I have updated the friends list by giving peeps nicknames and what not. Armi is back from his adventures from a far away place and I think Milie and I worked out some kinks. Either way, they're back on the list because they be impressive players that people should keep an eye out for. Oh yes, and a new song that I updated randomly after the last post. I found it funny and I hope it puts a smile on your face like it did mine. ~Love and Peace.

Been busy with school and what not, totally haven't been writing as much as I could. >_<;; But I totally still have events to talk about. Like helping Sorreah with an AF fight! With the help of Hye and Zaina, we used some super mithra power and easily killed all three demons no problem! Congrats Sorreah! ^^

Dynamis! It has been very intersting ^^;;;;. The group is very friendly and they're very nice even though I make a few mistakes here and there @_@;. Its really amazing how clockwork the people work. Don't get me wrong, peeps still die and mistakes are made here and there...but holy moly, it doesn't phase them one bit! I'll be freaking out and they just calmly fix it lol. But yeah! Super friendly bunch and I'm very thankful for my pal Talliah for pointing them out. Ty kitty pal! I have two pieces of monster AF2 thanks to ya! Wooo~!

Saaalvage! Although Saturday runs have kind of gone kapoooty, we've been going strong during the week! Jdogg has fancy Usu boots, and we're getting closer to some more! We got all the way to the 5th floor on ZR and we actually killed the NM for the first time! Wooo! Sadly the drop rate is poop and we got nothing but alex pieces. Ohhh wells, at least we didnt walk away with nothing ^^.

Nyzul Isle Investigation! Thanks to the effort of Gimpers, and many members wanting to partake in it, KoalaPandas now has a Nyzul Isle static! \@_@/ Amazing! With the super amazing leadership of Gimpers, we got to the 10th floor with almost no problem at all! And thanks to a mistake about which mob we were supposed to kill, I accidently made the group kill a NM and we found a swordbreaker. @_@;;;;; I ended up getting it but I felt kind of bad. I got it thanks to a mistake... ~.~;. Its alright though, I just gotta give 200% next time and make sure we get some amazing treasure for the rest of the peeps! ^^

Back in...Red?

Woo, after a day or two of technical difficulties I was finally back in time to do a little adventuring. Although I won't be on as much due to all the work I'm gonna have \@_@/ I'm still gonna try my best to be there for me peeps and help them out as much as possible! So on to the stories! First up is the NM that Arnor wishes dropped stuff! The tonberry drops a nice cape for an emnity build and with cerb. mantle a little out of reach due to price, Arnor has been trying his best to get this one. The drop rate hasn't been kind to him and now he has some competition from other players. Sadly we didn't get the drop when we claimed it. Hopefully next time! Totally forgot whether I said it or not but we were able to get Arnor his YY robe! Woooo! Congrats Arn! Knew you really wanted that.

Rose Garden! Out of my 6 years of playing the game I had only seen the mob once before so when Hye told me she found it I ran my butt off to go help her. The ring it drops is super duper nice but supposedly the drop rate is awful. I'll just have to lend as much support as I can to get Hye that fancy ring!

NM thingy! Iriz Ima! A fancy Marid that makes a tarutaru walk fast. Hooooly moly. This is honestly one of the slowest mobs I have ever met. When Hye's gravity would land, I think you could kite it walking and then you would still have to stop from time to time to let it catch up. Its that bad. Anyhoo, Hye and Cyprias helped kill the NM for me since it now put me one step closing to Dea! I was really hoping the boots would drop for Hye since they're actually not that bad of a pair for red mage. Sadly my TH stunk and all we got was the seal item. Its alrighty, I'll see what I can do to get another marid pop for Hye.

Vampire thingy! Ok...this by far took the cake on the most longest and annoying ZNM fight ever! lol...With me, Hye, Arnor and Cyprias as mages, we tried nuking, smn pets, and DoTing it and then zoning. The only problem we had was that the darn thing kept regening faster then we could damage it. Krystala and Gimpers came to the aid and even then our current strategy was no use. Finally I thought of zoning in groups and just rotating out. Although there was a tiny improvement we still had trouble with keeping the NM's HP down. Finally...I think after an hour or so of attempting, Cyprias thought of a brilliant plan that we could all just zone all by ourselves not in a party since the NM has alliance hate. Sure enough, after a few minutes we could see the plan working like a charm. Although the battle was pretty long, and a few peeps had to give up their trusty experience, we were finally able to kill the NM! To top it off Cyprias was kind enough to donate the Enkidu Legging's to me since his Usu boots put em to shame. Thank you very much Cyp cyp! The boots seem very fancy and the little results I have had with them made me super happy that I was lucky enough to recieve em. Kind of stunk having so many people die for em though...I'll have to give em all something in return!

Anyhoo, I'm leaving for college tomorrow and its just my luck that my computer dies on me. So now I am currently scrambling all over the place to try to fix it. Supposedly there is something I need to replace in it so I'm going to the store with a computer wizz to see if I can hopefully get the parts and be up and running before I go off to college. As Fraggles would say, Christ on a bike! Just to warn you, this is gonna be the super duper most longest post ever in the history of Miry's tail. Heck, I'm changing the title to Miry's Tale. Just to make it sound catchy. There we go, much better then what I had before which was just "Wow, lot of stuff" XD. So! Lets get down to what I've been up to! So much to talk about!

First off salvage! After doing salvage for quite a while I have finally met the super rare NM bee that you see in the picture. The mob is so rare whenever you take a picture of it battle stuff gets in the way and blurs the picture! I swear I have 10 pictures and this is the best one of it. Anyhoo, a very interesting thing about this NM is that when it does spawn, it spawns a bunch of times! I think we killed the NM...4-5 times? I know it was a lot and I totally lost count. Heck, it might be more! Anyhoo, the ls finally got to walk away with another 35 piece so congrats to Jdogg for his new sexy usu 35 boots! Besides that, salvage has been doing pretty good despite having some trouble on a saturday run. But all in all, still the greatest darn salvage linkshell I know! And I know two of em! Sort of. . .@_@; We're the best darnat!

CoP Missions! Dun dun dun! I haven't really gone back to them since I beat em but Korbon and Shylo needed help with the last two and as the KoalaPandas spirit goes, you gotta help your friends in need! With the help of Arnor, Cyprias, Talliah, Lilyoda, and Sorreah (crud...am I forgetting anyone else? @_@;) and me, Shylo and Korbon were able to beat 8-3 and 8-4 after a few fights so we could first learn the strategies of not dying. XD Congrats to those two!

New topic! Although I love my new linkshell I made KoalaPandas super duper a lot, I don't want to push activities on the linkshell. Its really meant to just be a relaxing ls to laugh and chat when you're not doing those stressful endgame stuff. Anyways, I admit I missed having stuff to go to and salvage is really a short activity every few days so I wanted to see what other end game stuff I could find. After talking to smartest elvaan I know Evaine, I decided to join a dynamis ls that dabbles in a few other things. So after a little discussion with a few of the members, and a nice chat/interview with the linkshell leader, I'm now a member of SpiritEvolution. They seem like a very friendly bunch and its very nice talking to them ^^;. Hopefully I can learn more about em as I continue doing my best in the ls.

Anyhoo, the first thing I got to do with them was limbus! I have done very few limbus runs and they went to one of the promyvion looking areas. I was very intimidated since we were fighting the king NMs and I really haven't gone up against many other thiefs damage wise and all of a sudden I was up against 2-3 of em! And guess what! I kicked booty! My damage wasn't the best out of all the DD's but I'm pretty sure I was dealing more then decent damage @_@b. With a little sigh of relief I was able to follow the linkshell to the top and we got some chip to boot. Woo!

Dynamis. I won't lie. My past two dynamis linkshells left a very bad taste in my mouth and even though Talliah spoke nothing but good things about the linkshell, I was still worried whether or not I would enjoy my time there. Dynamis is even more crazy then I imagined with people and mobs running everywhere. Spells flying left and right and people rushing from mob to mob under the time limit. My job as red mage was to keep the black mages alive and I was able to do it alrighty...sort of @_@;. I felt really bad though since I think the linkshell leader died like what? 10+ times? >_<; I was spamming my sleeps, cures and refreshes as fast as I could but so much was going on and so many peeps were running around I think i got overwhelmed. On a super awsome note though Talliah got her blm a new pair of gloves and I got myself a super awsome bst helm! I totally need to level bst now...but I also wanna level cor! @_@; So much to do! More helping peeps! Onekuo needed help with G2 mobs so with a smirk from Cyprias, we decided to see how high our WS could go! XD With Onekuo there to make sure we didn't kill ourselves silly, we were dishing out high dmg like people grabbing up fancy pants at the 80% off sale! I even got off a 3.3k Evisceration! Woo! *Flexes*. Anyhoo, after dealing some damage that would one shot certain mobs, Onekuo was able to walk away with G2 completed! Congrats Onekuo!

Like I said before, I'm trying my super best to help as any peeps as I can to make Vana'Diel a better more fun place for everyone! I gotta give back to the community kind of thing! This time I didn't help one but three peeps! Dangertaru, Elbe, and Villaresch all needed the 9-2 final fight for Windurst. I was the first one to agree to help and I admit I was a little worried at first. They were not super high levels and we were having trouble finding a tank. However, by pure chance they found Thursday the amazing rdm taru and Alexandrite, the omg buff pld out of no where. I mean Alexandrite could only speak japanese and they somehow randomly got him to help by just asking politely. XD Even with a mess up in the beginning and the blm dying, we were able to finish the fight with 15 minutes left. Congrats to those three for the win and if I ever see them again, I want to thank Thursday and Alexandrite again for showing so much kindness to strangers. If ya see them give em a hug!

Assaults! Talliah and I both want us some sexy Phl. body and with super helpful Hye, we got us a small static! With twin rdm powers and super awsome cor, the Lamia #13 assault is cheesy cake! At first I was thinking naming the group Kittypals and Catnip but Talliah thought of one of the greatest names ever! So without further ado, the Talliah, Hye, and Miry team will now be known as Pimphats and Pirate! XD Hopefully in a week or two we will all have some awsome armors! Heck! We might even do different assaults! Only time will tell o.o

Nyzul Isle! By pure chance me and Hye had an extra tag left over from our assaults and with Zaine willing to take us to the top, we decided to give Nyzul Isle Investigation a go at it! We kicked super duper butt with Zaine leading Cyp, Korb, Shy, Hye, and me to the top. Sadly we got really unlucky with the debuff we got from the dungeon on the boss (really!? No weapon skills allowed!? What the ef!) and we ended up not killing the boss. However, I amazingly got a rng crossbow! XD Now I have to level cor, rng, aaand bst! Holy moly thats a lot on my to do list @_@;. Good job on the run peeps and wow Zaine! You led us through like a veteran! Very awsome!

Most of you are like wowy! That was a long post, but there is more! Lots more! Like helping Talliah farm the item for the Teleport-Yhoat scroll. It took a little while but it was super nice to talk and chat with Talliah eating cookies now and then and poking lizards. Good times!

Oh! And KoalaPandas' first big event was a motto/catchphrase/battlecry contest! We had a contest to create one of items listed above that depicted the linkshell. It actually came down to two and it was super close! I liked all of em so much I actually sat out of voting since I wanted to see what the linkshell wanted. By a single vote, Cyprias won. \@_@/ So congrats Cyp and hope you enjoy the muffins! XD Anyhoo, lets see what the linkshell thought up of!

Waaahhh~! Camera Broke!

I'm so sorry peeps! I haven't been taking as many pictures as I should be. B-bu-but I have a reason! Yes yes! See, I was doing some alchemy synths and then I tried using a fire crystal instead of an earth crystal when making firesand. And we all know when ya add fire and firesand ingredients @_@;. Kaboomy! So uh...I broke my camera but I got a new one! So much has been going on in Vana'Diel and I'm gonna talk about them with pictures or not.

First off, helping those in need! Pimptarutaru was asking for help with a single blue mage spell so I offered to help. Eliteos and Darkstar also came to help and we easily got the taru his spell. So easy in fact that we then went on to get him three other spells! So four spells in a little over an hour. Not bad at all I think. Congrats to the taru!

Two part story! First part is about Hye. She was waiting for a friend and decided to camp a NM while she waited when a blue mage decided to give her some trouble. Maybe he doesn't like the color red or perhaps he has something against mithras. I don't know, but hearing someone giving a friend of mine trouble is a no go in my book. So Frag and me decided to run out and help Hye camp the mob. Even the amazing taru Pan came to help! None of us needed the item, and Hye honestly was only there to help one of her friends with the Genkai quest. Regardless, after a little bit of bickering back and forth, the other group with the blue mage decided to leave. We stayed a little longer but the NM never showed up. We decided to leave so the one camper who was actually polite could get it. So we didn't end up with any new item but we defended Hye and that felt good. Nobody messes with my kittypals!

Part two! While we were camping Bane ran by saying his group was helping someone do the Pld quest where you gotta fight the two orcs near the well. I ran over to help them really quick just to see Bane die to about 7 orcs. Some of the orcs depopped but I still fought four of them to help out the group @_@;. Anyways~! The fight was pretty simple and congrats to whoever needed the quest!

Assaults! Hm....I still got to talk to them about a group name but Talliah, Hye, and myself have decided to static Lamia No. 13 and we did our first three runs! Having three dispel-ers makes things super easy and we had relatively no problems. Except for when all three of us got charmed @_@;... But its a super fun fight and we get a lot of points. In a week or two Talliah and I should be sportin new sexy body armor! Wooo, cant wait ^^.

Last but not least. Super duper big announcement! I was kind of in a down mood for a bit when I got into a nice chat with Hye. We were discussing where we were in the game and what we wanted from the game. Maybe it was the melon juice but while talking to Hye I got a bold idea. Many peeps who have been feeling down lately were only feeling gloom because they felt they were missing something. At first I thought it was because they were not going to be able to do end game events. But talking to Hye, I totally realised that wasn't the case at all. People were just sad because they were losing friends and they were not sure how they were going to keep in touch with them. Although tells are nice, some people feel akward using nothing but tells. Again, not sure why but out of no where I got the idea to make my own linkshell. I would fill it up with people I could trust and care for. People who were respectful yet still super duper fun to be with. A cozy linkshell where people could come to relax and chat for a little bit. After asking a few people if they would be interested I recieved nothing but heartwarming YES!!! over and over. It took me a while but with the help of a few people, I chose a name that I think displays the attitude of the linkshell. So without further a-do, may I present to you KoalaPandas! We're still in the infancy stage and there are a few more peeps I need to talk to, but the linkshell is turning out to already be a wonderful place to stay and chat ^^. I can't wait to see what the linkshell becomes.

The Foggy Future~!

Ok, today's title is totally random because I didn't know what to call today's post. I mean...well...the first picture has a lot of fog? Like some super duper evil was lurking there! I dunno. Anyhoo, I was farming for only a few minutes when I got a tell from Audio asking if I needed to do the bahamut fight. I jokingly told him I don't need the fight but I would be happy to come thief if he needed me. Totally was a joke because seriously, when does a thief get invited to boss fights you know? XD But amazingly he said sure and I got the last spot in the alliance o.o;.

Everyone there was in the linkshell...uh...I think it was RisingMoon? It had a moon in it...I think...I'll have to double check. Anyways, unlike the last time I fought this, the group seemed quite prepared. I think only four peeps died (I died first! XD) but it was that darn megaflare move. I probrably wouldn't of died had I ran quicker but I really didn't do my research for the fight. Oh wells, I learned my lesson @_@b. But yar, the linkshell took down Mr. Wyrmking as if he was uh...erm...as if he was one of those too weak mobs in besieged! Sort of! Thats a bad example...I gotta work on those.

Arnor was busy doing dynamis (Its ok Arnor, I have a stack of seals put to the side when you're rdy ^^b) so me and fraggles tricked Cyprias into helping us with the Royal Jelly BCNM. Something about peanut butter jelly sandwiches and Frag willing to dance for gil. I dunno which it was but Cyprias jumped at the chance to join us. The drop rates were kind of stinky but we all came away with a little gil in our pockets. Congrats to Fraggles for getting phalanx! Wooo~! Next time we'll hit it big!

Look Look~! My corsair is finally becoming more like a uh...corsair! I finally got my first hexagun! Its soooo cool! Its shoots super fast and it still does good damage! Even with a lot of ranged acc. and marksmanship merits, my bullets were not hitting as often as I liked. Although I save money making the bullets, they're still not cheap. Luckily at 30 I got another little ranged accuracy boost so my damage output got a wonderful little spike! I don't know how far I'll be able to duo this job with Cyprias but its super fun! Super excited about the next few levels with more equipment upgrades and new dice rolls coming up. Go go super gambling job!

Thats all I have for another little update! So many fun adventures lately! Although I do miss having a linkshell to go to, my friends are still out there to go on wonderful adventures with.

Little Update, Big People

Although I'm not gonna be able to be on as much soon with school coming up, I have decided to try my best at attempting something silly. Every day I'm on, I'm gonna try to do something nice for a stranger. Be it a free tele somewhere to helping someone farm something up. I know some peeps say I'm crazy for helping strangers but when you meet the really nice ones....well...it makes it totally worth it. Like Okwaho for example! I was just walking by when I randomly checked him out. His little bazaar comment said he was new to Vana'Diel so I gave him a super duper welcome to the world. He thanked me but seemed a little down since he was short on gil to buy powders and oils to do the blue mage quest (He needed them to get there). I told him if he could wait just a minute I could see what I could do for the big guy. Sure enough, after a little bit of crafting and buying from the AH, he had a little over a stack for each. Galka was so happy he even asked if he could be my friend. I said of course so now I got a galka buddy! Anyhoo, his pure happiness totally made it worth it and I'm gonna make sure to hunt down other players like him and help them out as well.

Speaking of other awsome peeps, I got to help Audio! The hume was having trouble getting a moldy earring so he asked for a helping hand. This NM is probrably the kindest NM I know since I have only not gotten the earring once....maybe twice. Anyhoo, we took down the NM with no trouble and Audio now has a fancy new earring! Woo~! Congrats! I believe I'm somewhere near... 11/12 or 11/13 on the earring, so if you're going after it and need help, feel free to ask ^^b.

And now the amazing puppetmaster & corsair duo~! We call ourselves punch and fish for short. Out of pure luck we found an amazing little duo spot that works perfect with our combos. We just have to make sure we dont stray past a few boundaries or else we get to eat tasty dirt thanks to the friendly beastman. Unfortunately Cyp found one of them for us XD. Anyhoo, its amazingly very relaxing and fun to duo. Its nice just relax and get some exp with no stress. And there is a nice pixie there to boot. It cures Cyprias a lot, but it doesn't cure me enough. I'll probrably pay the pixie a visit on my thief...darn pixie.

I keep forgetting to take pictures but more salvage! I don't know what the drop rate is on the NMs but they are honestly super duper low. My linkshell as been at it for quite a while to get some 35's and we still have no luck on em @_@;. Its alrighty though, because that just means they will drop next time! We're also gonna have some boss fights soon so it should be interesting to see what we get from there ^^.

Training!

There is only one way to get better and that is to practice! With a super duper fun fight coming up, I wanted to be sure to at least give Kallo a challange. Cyprias was nice enough to kick my butt for a bit to show me what works and what doesn't work in Brenner. I still have more ideas I need to practice and see how they work. It is very interesting to see what counters what and how even the useless moves come into play. Can't wait! Oh yeah, and Cyprias beat me 2-1 ~.~;

After recieving a tell from the amazing kitty known as Hye that Biast was up, me and Hye ran out and decided to give the mob a try. With the super buffs and enfeebles from Hye, and the speed of my little daggers, the dragon gave us almost no troubles at all. It did petrify me a few times, but a kind whm watching the fight cured it. Probrably just really wanted the ToD XD. We didn't get the drop but it was nice to chat with Hye and get a little gil in our pockets. Next time Hye! For sure ^^b.

Decided to do a little more campaign to also practice for the fight. The way I see it, equipment can only take your character so far. Sure, having 2X as much +dex is gonna be noticeable, but if you miss your SA, TA, or can't control hate in a party, well, your stats are not gonna be able to help you out all that much. What I have always loved about thief is the movement and importance of positioning of yourself in the party. Unlike some DD that just stand there and press a button now and then, thieves actions have to be fluid throughout the whole fight. Standing behind for SA and your accuracy boosts. Getting behind a tank or DD to ensure hate stays on a specific person. Or side stepping to grab hate off a mage. Although the numbers are not super duper wow amazing, thief is still in my opinion the most amazing blueberry pancake job there is. Alone they're not the greatest thing for breakfast, but when ya mix em together they're sure darn tasty.

Anyhoo, back to campaign! I decided to help the Bastok front since it appears they are the most heavily hit. Fighting them for the first time, I understand why Bastok is having trouble pushing back the quadavs. Unlike the yagudos who are super squishy, quadavs tank incredibly well. Most of my hits from a dagger barely hit them for anything and I can almost never get enough TP off the darn things. Luckily the beasts the quadavs bring are squishy enough and I was actually able to solo a wyvern with just the help of my bolts. A very challanging yet fun experience. That and its always fun shooting mobs through those little slits. Yay for walls that protect you for two seconds! XD

My most difficult training so far is solo farming in sea. Sharks are quite random on their difficulty ranging from not even landing a hit on me to killing me. Depending on what moves they use and how often their hits land, I can solo them with little to a crud ton of trouble. I literally fought a shark that didn't hit me once, and the next one then had 10 straight hits in which I couldn't even get utsu back up. Great mob to practice thief on though. You have to count your shadows, have your fingers ready to steal it's shock spikes if they get em up, and you have to be decent with your crossbow. I'm actually trying to farm me up a breeze gorget. Cyprias helped quite a bit but I'm still three shark and one UFO organ short. I'll probrably need help killing the UFO but it shouldn't be too hard finding peeps to kill one ^^.

Welp, thats my little update for today. I changed the music again and this time put on a whole album! I saw these peeps in concert and they were really really good. Who knew connecting electric guitars to gameboys and super nintendos would make good music. Anyhoo, their music probrably isn't for everyone, but their little beeps and boops have been cheering me up lately and I hope they work for you as well. ^^

Rested and. . .

Its official, Strife is done with endgame. However, I will continue to lend its members support and to help those in need. Because gosh darnat, thats what StrengthOfOdin was all about and that was the best darn linkshell ever. So after taking a little vacation to experience some new things, I am relaxed and back into the swing of things to help Strife.

Did some assaults. T2 mamools is my assault. I know the area like the back of my hand and I can pull the place as either rdm or thf with an eyepatch and my shoes tied. Easy points to keep me running in salvage.

Speaking of Salvage, we had a bad run today against one of the bosses. I screwed up with slow and Kaysa took some of the blame when she shouldn't. I'm sorry bout that taru, but I really have no experience on that fight as rdm and I was focusing more on the tanks then the mob. Totally my fault. Anyhoo, we couldn't kill the boss but we're up against it again on Thursday. We will see how it goes.

Helped Hermos get his parade gorget as well. That makes it three gorgets I've helped with! I think...I've lost track...but either way, this goblin is like my next door neighbor. Very easy fight and the drop rate has been above average with me so I'm happy my TH is actually helping out my fellow ls mates. Hopefully it will stay kind.

Me and Cyprias duo'ed a limbus floor to get me an item so I can get me some +1 gloves for thief. I'm curious to see how they are and it is definitely something I plan to experiment with once I get enough coins. I'll probrably wait til after the update though since that should save me a little bit of gil.

I am almost done meriting with thief. All I have left to cap is dexterity, spell interruption down, and flee timer. Although I don't get to use it that often, I am very happy with how my daggers handle themselves in the my hands. My damage output is still nothing like a super buff samurai or monk, but overall numbers are much higher. Although I had never really noticed, the huge increase in my damage is actually the quick hits that I do and not the weaponskills. Although I do an extra 200 damage or so with my WS, the extra and quicker hits from my daggers add up even more. Heck, according to numbers, I outdamaged a mnk, a sam, and a rng. That made me a happy camper. Anyhoo, I think I'm now ready for my final challange for thief. A one on one battle with Kallo. Hear that Mr. Long Ears? Its finally time to see who the better thief is. I always put it off since he had better equipment, but after keeping up with thieves in much better equipment, I want to see how well I can do. Screw Maat, this is the true final test for my thief. I can't wait ^^.

Adventure times...gonna keep em plain and simple for today. Found the NM above with Cyprias, we were super excited since it drops an Absorb-Dex scroll. Didn't get it the first night but found it again luckily on our next night farming and got the drop. A nice little amount of gil for our pockets.

Ran into a tarutaru party all wearing moogle hats. It was too cute to not take a picture. I wanted to try asking them if I could get a better one but they ran off in the opposite direction and I was already late meeting up with Cyprias.

ENM - Still no luck but we'll get that darn ring soon for Cyprias. I just know it.

Helped Lilyoda and a stranger beat the CoP moblin fight. Henita, Audio, and Cyp came to help and we beat the fight with almost 20 minutes to spare. Great work guys!

Anyhoo, serious time now. Although it hasn't been finalized...and I don't think it will ever fully disband, I believe Strife is done with end game. I said I would be damned if I would let it happen but things were much dire then I expected. With talks with many exsisting and ex-members, I was left with a sense of defeat...and it really stunk. I told Souel I could try really hard and get stuff done, but he said that my enthusiasm could only go so far and he was right.

There are so many factors that led to this ragged group of leftovers of Strife and...well I just need to vent. At first I was mad at myself. I honestly felt I did something wrong. Perhaps if I skipped a beach party and went to one more run...or if I told one more funny joke...that maybe I could of stopped Strife into becoming what it was. Again, I'm just venting so I don't want anyone to take it personal. After I was mad at myself I was mad at the leadership.

At Arnor who would show up late to stuff since he was busy exping or doing stuff with Tammy. But then I remembered those hard times Arnor went and how I was super worried about his health. But now he really has been a lot happier lately. Arnor, you're honestly one of the greatest friends I have and I'm so so so happy that you're doing so well. I knew I couldn't be angry at Arnor.

Then I got mad at Milie. I won't lie. I felt betrayed Milie. I stuck my tail out for you for that dialogue with Souel and then I found out you went and joined ML? You said you just wanted to join a King's ls and you still doing sea with them? We do sea don't we? I was pissed, especially when in my grumpy mood I made a correlation with what you were doing was kind of similar with what Kviton did, and that only got me more angry. But after calming down and reading Milie's post...she had every right to do what she wanted. Milie, although you sometimes take things very personally, you're a wonderful person to be around. When I read your post about it being a dream to be in a linkshell like that, I couldn't help but be happy for you. Being able to do your dreams is great and I hope you're able to thrive there. I'm honestly 110% rooting for you.

Then my mind wandered to Rifu. Honestly Rifu, I really didn't know what to say. You're not on a lot but you're making sure your family has food on the table and I can't get mad at you for that.

And of course Souel. I was so sad when he said that Strife would turn into an event linkshell...I could feel my tail droop almost instantly. Souel...I know you have never ever shown me the full frontal anger and brutality of your grumpy leadership face, but I know there must be liability from the top. I was angry at Souel for not stopping the situation before it came to this. I was angry that he told me to give up. I was angry he wouldn't himself yell at peeps or keep peeps in line. But I could never be angry at Souel...ever since he took me under his arm when I was a low level thief...it is thanks to him and the loving group that he made that I was able to thrive into the kitty I am now. Although many others tell me he is a grumpy asshole, he has always been a loving cheerful caring person in my eyes...dispite the fat tail remarks...

I wanted to be mad at the members...for not stepping up and showing up to events. How could they sign up and not come to stuff. . .but I couldn't get mad at them either...we're all busy with work, school, or other stuff and we all agree'ed that Strife was second to real life matters. We have always been relaxed about stuff like that and maybe that was the start of our demise.

Regardless, as my ranting showed...I...I wanted to blame someone, a group, a person...anybody....I just wanted to yell at someone and put all the blame on someone...even myself...but I just couldn't. I won't lie, Strife was much more to me then what most of you treat it as. I honesetly cried when I heard even the rumors of Strife ending...not sniffles...I mean full on tears into my pillow. I was just so sad...anyhoo...Souel wants to keep the linkshell together as a social/event linkshell but it really hurts me to see it like that. I'm gonna be keeping linkshells off for a while since I just dunno what to do anymore. If you see me walk by, please give me a hug. I...well...I'll be walking around exploring as thief...and I could use a lil happiness boost...

I've decided to sell off my red mage stuff and only keep what I need for the ENM. I'm done with the job forever otherwise. I don't want people discussing the job. I just wanna be my thief...

Anyhoo...I'm sorry for ending tonights journal entry on such a sad note. I sure hope September is a lot better...

Super Fun Adventure Time!

Hi hi everyone! More fun adventures! Like limbus! We did Tenemos West I think...not sure XD. Anyhoo, the run was really fun! We got to open all the chests and pretty much kirr everything! I even walked away with quite a few coins and some item for rdm AF+1 to boot! Not sure what to upgrade though...we'll see o.o.

ZNMs! Strife has been doing a few here and there and this time we tried a T3! This big ugly fish was super cheesy cake thanks to the kiting of Forix and pretty much the kick butt mode the Strife members were in. Had no luck with drops on it, but at least we took it down with relatively no problems ^^.

Velionis, on the other hand, is one super tough T1 ZNM undead thingy. His spell casting pretty much kicked our booty. Someone said you could kite it but it is pretty tough in the position its in. We'll see what happens next time! If there is one!

Salvage! Still one of my most favorite things to do in the world of Vana'Diel~! We tried our luck killing some frogs. We accidently didn't pop one on the 5th or 6th floor so had no luck getting any 35's but in reality we would of ran out of time either way. We tried a strategy that didn't work simply because we were missing a card. Its ok though! I know with the buffness of PlanteZebes we will totally kick butt next time. Oh yeah, I even got another 15 Skadi piece! So now I got all of the level 15 pieces which are pretty nice ^^. Just got 9 more pieces to go until full super awsome Skadi armor!

Ranger AF! Since I finally got my manniquin (thanks Kandy!) I was able to put my ranger AF on it! Thats when I realized I was missing a piece! So with the help of Cyprias in super buff ninjar form, we took it down as if it was nothing but a tiger with a lil bit of extra HP. So now my manniquin is standing in some awsome AF. Can't wait to get back to ranger and wear it myself ^^. Oh, and for those of you who love the stories behind the artifact armors, ranger definitely ranks up there as a good one. Thief is still my super most favorite, but ranger is pretty darn close ^^.

Now for little adventures to the side! Me and Cyprias have been duoing our Pup/Cor combo and we have both gotten to 27! It's really amazing what Cyp's pup and my dice can accomplish. I think there is a lot behind each jobs that many peeps don't realize. They're just really super buff jobs that when done correctly, can honestly open some eyes. I can't wait to see what me and Cyp can do later on.

Assaults! Did a few assaults tonite with Milie, Souel, and Sorreah. Super easy T2 Mamools! With Milie keepin us alive, we had noooo trouble. Honestly did the assaults in the quickest time for me. Can't wait to spend the points on more salvage! Wooo!

Woo! First off, let me say I love my salvage linkshell. We had some rough times...with not enough peeps showing up, or a certain mob giving us trouble. But let me tell ya, the linkshell is amazing! Not only are the people in it some of the kindest I have ever met, they are all so darn good at what they do. Not only that, as the linkshell keeps doing runs, the experience and expertise of the linkshell really shows itself. Small mistakes that would slow us down or impede the whole group are instantly fixed and we just keep on truckin. I'm really thankful for the opportunity to be in the linkshell.

Anyhoo! About the mob in the picture! The NM boss that ya see is Long-Bowed Chariot...and it is one super mean mob. My salvage ls has had some tough times with it and until that picture we had never taken it down (I think @_@;). Heck, we even got it down to ooooone percent! Talk about stressful. But even such a downer as that didn't stop the linkshell as our next run we rescheduled for the boss, and kicked some booty. With the thanks of it being weakened to some pulling (I got really lucky doing so ^^;), and the super buffness of the linkshell, we finally took it down! Congrats to Hecky on the two pieces for Ares!

NMs! While me and Cyp were farming we ran into another NM! He sort of slept us and then blew us to smitherings. I got lucky and was able to deal the finishing blow, and we even got 30k to boot! Felt bad about the death for Cyp though...@_@;

Then I got to help Grandpa Souel with getting his Parade Gorget! Last time with helping Stygian the drop rate was 1/4, but amazingly we got it on the first try! Lucky for Souel too since he only brought one juice.

Anyhoo, thats my little update for now. Who knows what will happen next~!

Hello! Is everyone excited about August!? I know I am! With all sorts of stuff going on its the perfect time for exciting adventures and treasure! Like these tarutaru! I don't know what they're doing but they must be celebrating something! Go them!

Limbus! I don't know much about it. But its different! In a good way! Well its like a mixture of salvage and dynamis really...but still! Very interesting! Strife did a run in some weird Promy looking area. We started out bad with a wipe, but we were able to fight pretty far and get some treasure! I got some kind of string thingy to upgrade my AF. After peeps telling me how good the upgraded gloves are, I decided to take a look at em. They seem interesting. Very situational though. Don't get me wrong. They're probrably the best TA gloves out there. But with my eyes set on my DD and TP set, I'm not sure if I should go for em. I'm still pushing the idea around.

Pretty Qufim! With some gil saved up and bullets stocked up like a war is gonna go off. I was finally prepared to level corsair! Cyprias was having some trouble finding parties with his pup so we decided to static together. Through a few parties, we're both already to 24. Just a little bit more to go and we can go to the jungle~! Wooo! I can understand why some people see pup as a weak job since the player itself doesn't deal all too great damage. However, when you add a good puppet, the damage is as good if not better then most DD. Should be interesting to see how Cyp molds that job. o.o

With Beastmaster and Ranger taking a break, Corsair is gonna be my main leveling thingy for a while. After seeing such great corsairs like Talliah and Venussama do some amazing things, I knew I had to try out the job. Although I hate bard, the fact that you're gambling for buffs with corsair makes me love it! Who knows what numbers I will get! Will I land the perfect lucky number? Get unlucky and land on the unlucky? Should I then gamble a bust for a better boost!? Or do I dare gamble going for the all buff eleven! Another reason why I see myself taking up corsair instead of bard has to be the damage. Corsair is not really a damage dealer(mine isn't at least at this level ^^;), but it can still do some decent numbers! Can't wait to put it in some better equip and see what kind of abilities it gets.

Anyhoo! Thats my little post about stuff~! Expect to see more end game and corsair activities! Some peeps told me not to get rid of Queen. Some said go back to J-pop like I said I would stick to. However, I am instead going with another song I heard on the radio. This is now my corsair's theme song. All I can imagine while listening is kicing some booty shooting some beastmen in some kind of super shoot out. Just you watch Vana'Diel. You're gonna have one eye-popping pirate to deal with soon!

Mistakes Were Made (>_<)/

How is everyone doin? I made a few boo boo's this week. Quite a few mistakes all over the place. But first off! Somewhere where I didn't mess up! (I think @_@;). Strife went after Jailer of Temperance! He a super tough pain in the butt to find and kirr. His spawn spots are so far from each other. Anyhoo, Strife was doin pretty good until the NM went rawr and decided to use his AoE move 4-5 times in a row.

The after effect. Dead Strife mates everywhere. Oh wells! Its all good though, we know what we gotta do next time!

Sky time! The linkshell got to farm up more pop items! We didn't have enough peeps and wiped on MG, but we were able to kill Ulli! Yay! Those darn diorites don't drop enough though...sheesh!

But we fought Genbu! With Strife being being buff again, the turtle didn't even make us sweat! I used up all my TH for the week supposedly with two A hands, shield, hat, dropping. As well as a few money drops! Good times ^^/

Bleh, now for the mistakes that I made and forgot to take pictures for. Salvage~! Our run on Tuesday was very good, yet I accidently got aggro and ended up in a wipe. Although I know if I wasn't there, someone else would have gotten the aggro, it still really sucks to be the one getting it. Peeps tried getting up but got hit back down before they could get reraise back up...It was just pretty bad ^^;. Then on my last run. I kept screwing up with the cells and accidently used a few I wasn't supposed to. Bleh...sometimes you have those moments...but it was like I had a few days @_@;.

Got bored and wasted a Gration pop item. Still no luck with Odqan and once d'ced just to get back on a minute later to find it claimed. Screwed up on ENM and lost it since I forgot I didn't have two hour. Just a lot of dumb mistakes on my part...but oh wells...we all have our slumps you know? Luckly, I have the kindess and friendship of so many nice people. Even when I'm a little down they're always there to give me a hug and some kind words (Really, hugs > pat on the ass. You know who you are). Anyhoo, thats my little update. Oh yeah, a friend of mine sent me a link to a silly thing to cheer me up. It made me feel better, hope it does for you too ^^/. Heck, its a red mage and a thief! Those be my jobs! XD

Same old Faces, Brand New Places~!

August has arrived and things have kicked off like a bang! Not some little one, like a big giant firework! Yaaay~! So lets see what adventures and treasure I found! After farming for a bit, Cyprias and I got him another AF piece for his sam! Woo! Nothing as buff as his super mnk, but I'm sure he could get it up there if he wanted.

Sky Farmin! Ohhhh boy! We totally kicked butt this week. The NMs we fought gave us little to no trouble. In fact, we had one of the smoothest Mother Globe runs I've ever seen. It was really nice seeing the linkshell doing stuff again. Good times! ^^/

Zeni! Never done it before, and I still find it weird. Then again, I wasn't too happy at how expensive some of the parts were. I think I might of spent too much IS...but oh wells! Its a learning experience! We'll see what comes of it! I know there are some nice pieces of equipment for thief and what not...but...I'm not sure if I can see myself doing this all to often @_@;.

Sea Farmin! With the help of Cyprias and a little back up from Souel, I was able to farm me up a light gorget! Some peeps say its really good for Evisceration. Some say its totally not worth it! I love items that are always debated because there is usually truth to both sides! The problem I see with the gorget is my Evisceration is more crazy then ever! At first of the difference of my max/min damage output used to be about 200 damage. But now its about 400! The only problem though is only half of that is due to it going up. I still plan on messing around with the gorget and seeing how it does. It could of just been a fluke. ^^;

Bahamut fight! I awoke to Souel mumbling his crazy talk saying something about some dragon thingy needed killing. Kandy dragged him out to some fight and he wasn't too happy. His group was no where near ready so he demanded back up from the linkshell. Before I knew it, I was staring at Bahamut himself!

I don't remember him being that big, but wow! He is freaken huge! Anyhoo, the fight didn't do so well. There was a really dumb taru pld who pretty much killed Arminius and was an MP sponge for most of the fight. We ran out of time, but I honestly didn't see us winning after most of us wiped. Some of the other peeps wanted to retry, but Strife stopped it there since many of us were not happy with how it was being run. Ohh wells!

Kirin! The last thing the new Strife had yet to do in sky. We had to wait for a little bit since there was another linkshell in front of us, but it was totally worth it! The linkshell in front of has had some good friends that I got to say hi to. Talliah, Shanelle, heck, I even got to say hi to Kallo! He looks all fancy in his pink clothes and everything. If he didn't have so many nicknames, I would name him Pink Power Ranger or something. Anyhoo, we had a little trouble with the first Kirin, and we ended up wiping. However, with the help of a few more members, and the aid of a few good friends (Thanks Talliah and Talliah's taru friend!), we were able to down Kirin! Lotsa fun!

Soo~! thats my adventures with the start of August! More end game stuff is on the way though. Limbus, Sky, Salvage, and maybe even Dynamis! Hope you all have a wonderful month ^^/. Now some words from a cat who might of had too much to drink XD.

Monster Huntin~!

Monsters everywhere! Lets get straight down to business. Milie was kind enough to get a few peeps and help see if we could farm a few dragon hearts. Turns out the mobs were much tougher then expected. One of them really liked spaming its AoE and after a few fights, we ate dirt @_@;. However, we all got a lil gil and it was a good learning experience. No luck with drops either though. Ohhh well.

Also got to do sky with Strife again. I screwed up while leading a group on an Olla run. We got the water right off the bat, but the three Ollas loved their AoE gravity move. I let the linkshell down...it was pretty bad >_<;. However! It was a learning experience and I plan on not letting it happen ever again! Been farming quite a bit with Cyprias. We been able to earn a little gil and I was finally able to get me a pair of dusk gloves! With capped Ambush, and quite a few +accuracy pieces of equipment, I can finally mess around with a haste set without missing a lot now. I don't really have any special way of looking at how much damage I do per a mob, so I can't tell if a haste set is really worth it or not. Regardless, its something I plan to mess around with since everyone keeps telling me its good @_@;. But for now, I'll be happy with my accuracy and purple parachute pants.

Anyhoo, that leads me to this cluster. Been camping him in my free time since I'm sure as heck not gonna spend 300k on something I just wanna use for fun. 0/2 on it at the moment. We'll see how it goes.

Moar Salvage! Did another run today. Totally forgot to take pictures @_@; Was a good run today. We got a few 15 pieces. Had no luck with the 35's but nothing new there. It's all good though~! Cause when we finally do get them higher level armors, everyone gets super excited~! Like wooo!

Last but not least! More adventures with Cyprias! Our ENM still hasn't given us the super rare treasure yet. But now its just time~! I'm sure we will get it next time! Just gotta be patient! @_@b

Yep, It was pants o'clock. In the small alliance that we had, we got enough cells for everyone but one to wear pants. My lucky dice...were just not so lucky XD. Anyhoo, I totally deserve a kick in the rear because I freaken forgot a huuuuuuuuuuuuge thing in my past post. I was super lucky enough to get another piece of the Skadi set! A 35 piece to boot! With drop rates being no where near kind, it was actually surprising they dropped. Although I usually can't make weekday runs due to work (Darn my mog house bills being so expensive!), I have been trying to make as many salvage runs as possible. Although our group isn't that big, it is very impressive to see what the group can do. I can't wait to hopefully find some more drops for the linkshell because quite honestly, they all deserve em. Anyhoo, thats my little tiny post for the night. Have a good nite ^^/.

Giving Other's a Hand

Hi hi everyone! Gosh, the time sure flys by doesn't it? One moment I write a little something on my adventures, and then bam! More adventures to write about! So lets get to it! But first! I bought another piece of furniture for my Mog House! A cute little Windurstian Tea Set! It even comes with a basket of rice crackers! It makes my dinner table with the rest of the stuff on it...actually seem like a dinner table! If you're ever in Windurst and need a snack, my door is always open for friends! ^^

The moblin city! I hung out there for a few days helping peeps with stuff. Got to kill all sorts of goblins and bugbears in search of rare treasure. None of it for me, but all to help out some good peeps from my linkshell. Woo! And who doesn't like hunting for rare treasure. Treasure is always good!

Like helping Stygian get his parade gorget! Wooo~! He was 1/3 on it to boot! We even found him a treasure chest so he could get a map of the place. Totally made it easier for him ^^. Then I also helped Cyprias go after some Rutter Subatons! Also 1/3 on those. It wasn't that bad of a fight at all. Especially the second one since we had a large group for it due to an ENM party.

Like Tada~! At first Henita and I were gonna help yoda farm up a subligar, but due to some random mix up, we instead decided to help out Cyprias with his NM and do a ENM fight on top! The fight was super easy and we took it down no problem.

The ENM was up against a lone Bugbear. No competition I tell ya. We totally kicked its butt. No really, he does a move where he falls on his butt, and then we kicked it! @_@b He was pretty weak for being a lone NM bcnm.

Like this guy! King of the crabs himself! Souel! Hehe, juuust kidding! King Arthro! Souel asked for some treasure hunting lovin' but we had no luck with the belt. All we got was some cloth. At least it was some nice pocket gil which I was able to put into smithing!

Then all the stuff I forgot to take pictures of! Lets see....uhhhhh. Oh! I helped Mishii do the Antican fight for ZM. Got to trio it with her and Souel. We lost the first one but we totally kicked butt the second time! Was only a minute behind the record to boot! Not bad at all. Hmm.....oh! Linkshell is doing sky again. We got to fight Seiryu! Drops were meh but at least some peeps left with stuff. Wooo! I also helped farm a few chips for people who needed em for CoP. Then after that I farmed up a special item for a friend of mine. Totally surprised him too! Hehe.

I think there was some more stuff that I did, but I totally can't remember off the top of my head. @_@; I need to start taking more pictures I suppose. Anyways~! Keep having a great July everyone!

Don't Stop Me Now~!

With the end of CoP, I finally got to see that famous spot of Tavnazia. It was a very pretty and fitting end I thought. ^^ But like all things, it came to an end. With new adventures on the horizon, I went out and did more stuff!

Like go back to Attohwa Chasm! I went and did the Antlion ENM fight. Sadly, everyone but me died when all three of the lesser antlions attacked. I tried to solo the main boss one but that guy was just waaay too buff for me. Was an interesting fight though. Some peeps said I did good...but it always stinks coming out empty handed.

I finally saw the bird NM everyone was talking about! I had always heard it's name being shouted in the LS but I had never seen it before. I went out and helped Arnor and Tammy take it down with little problems. Congrats to Tammy on both drops!

WotG! I haven't really done much with it but Henita needed help so I decided to aid his call! We had to fight some super tough NM orc. With Fenrir doing most of the work, the orc went down after a long strategic battle. Congrats Henita! And thanks for helping yoda!

More ENM with Cyprias and no luck with drops. Just gotta keep at it. Fish & Fist~! ^^y

Corsair! I have decided to take up another job! I really wanted to level a job that could use a gun. So my two choices were corsair and ranger. I flipped a coin seeing which job I would level and corsair won. Quite fitting I think, hehe. Anyhoo! The job has been very interesting so far and there seems to be so many different ways to play it. It is a very versatile job that I can't wait to see what it can do at the higher levels. I got quite a few tips from Talliah and Evaine so with their great knowledge, I was easily able to get the job to 20. Wooo~!

Sea. @_@/. Strife tried to take down Jailer of Faith with a little bit of trouble. I got a lil frustrated and had to walk out after the first fight before I said something stupid on my part. I know I owe the linkshell a lot...and I really have to give em my full effort. I was just in one of those grumpy moods and I really didn't want to offend someone. Just had to vent my stress so I decided to mine a bit. That didn't really help...but I am now able to make bullets @_@;. /sigh. Its ok though! I just gotta give Strife 150% next time! Wooo!

Anyhoo! Thats it for my little update. Something happened to the old music player so I went and copied Fraggles. ^^; I'm sorry for blasting music straight at ya but I can't seem to find a way to not do it. I'm not too good with the technology stuff. Anyhoo, I was chocoboing somewhere when I heard the song and loved it so much. Enjoy~!

ZNM's And Promathia! Holy Moly!

Ohhhh snap! So muuuuuch stuff in one nite! I actually did CoP first but I'm gonna talk about those later so I can first give peeps a warning.

WARNING!: If you don't want to see pictures of the CoP ending stuff, don't look below the ZNM pictures!

Ok, you have been warned. Anyhooo~! ZNM's first! Cyprias's linkshell or friends...or people he knew...were doing ZNM runs and he asked if I wanted to tag along! Although I'm not interested in actually doing the silly picture taking, I'm always up for hunting rare stuff! First up was Ob! It's some evil puppet thingy! It also reacts to moves that any pup in your alliance does. So the group was able to get it stuck in its "weak" mage form. The weak mage form being the one that hit me for almost 1.2k dmg. Thats one way to wake up! Two of the peeps didn't have luck with drops but the person who came Pup did! He even got a 200k attachment for his pup! Wowy!

Next up is probrably the toughest NM I ever fought. Not because of super crazy moves or w/e. I mean he is just plain tough to kill. He takes very little damage in the beginning and his defense is freaking through the rooof! Sure, his defense lowers as you deal more damage to him, but dealing that initial damage was uber tough. I didn't really do much either. It was all the blms. I just used collaborator from time to time and poked it a bit.

The last NM I helped with was Dea! He was cheesy cake! The bugger hits like a galka going after sausages though. Regular hits were doing 300+ and don't even mention crits. I didn't have my shadows up and I took over 1k from some move where he swings his his body in a circle. And that happened twice I think! Peeps came out with nice equip, and I came out with pictures and a little gil! Wooo!

Now for Promathia. The big P! I was very fortunate with everyone who helped ^^. You have Mr. Dagmar, always a gentleman, despite having the power to crush a taru...no a mithra, with one fist @_@;;. Then you got Mr. Souel....I gotta think of a nickname for him. I don't know how he does it, but he is able to get a group together with a snap of his fingers. He was all...hey Miry, we're getting you CoP! And I was like shwah? And before I knew it, we were in front of the BCNM @_@;. Then there is me. Go Go rdm! I remember her saying she really disliked whm, but Milie really is good at curing. Heck, she's buff at whm! Maybe she naturally has fast cast or something, I don't know. Then we got Mr. Rifu! He slices and dices! Except instead of veggies, its mobs! Last but not least, Cyprias! He doesn't need an explanation. When he's monk, stuff gets punched and dies. Plain and Simple!

First thing I noticed during the fight....the arena! Look how pretty it is! I thought avatar fights was fancy, but they're nothing compared to it! If I didn't know there was treasure to be won, I probrably would of just stood there and looked around for a bit XD. Maybe that explains why we lost the first fight. . .naaaaah~!

And look at the floor! Wooooah! I never thought I would actually get to see Vana'Diel from up there! It's so beautiful! You can even see all the bridges leading to Jeuno! Good thing none of us fell. Then again...we would probrably land on Qufim Island right there. @_@

After losing the first fight, our group was able to beat him the second time super easy! Like, I think half of us were asleep when Promy ate it. Thanks again peeps!

I very much liked the ending. They closed up pretty much every story. The three mithra's defintely take the cake in my book. You could totally feel the "best friends forever" between em! Very touching! Then for my least favorite would be the darn taru children. Who they calling ugly!? Anyhoo, I got me ring! Super sexy Raja's! Then I did the fight again with Fraggles! My name was the record holder for both 8-3 and 8-4. o.O;; We will see how long thats last. Woo, well what a busy night. Have a good one peeps!

Look at that galka dance! There is my buddy Dagmar doing the Moogle shuffle while we waited for the next pull! Or maybe it was a replacement. Anyhoo, Dagmar and I got to merit for a little bit. Lets just say I hate flies when I'm the main cure-er-er. Cursed sphere!? Ridiculous!

But it was super fun! Sotose and Bane were throwing pets (and Sotose's friend came later but I forgot his name). Souel and Rifu kited Xolotol's pets as best as they could and did a pretty good job. Me and Lilyoda just tried to keep everyone alive. @_@; It was a super tough battle with everyone running and it lasted quite a while. But wooo! We took it down! And didn't get a single item....not even a crystal....darn undead! You're so stingy!

Bleh, I'm sorry peeps. I've said I would be updating more but I've been so busy doing stuff! Like getting merits! I actually haven't gotten many, but I do have a few funny stories! Like the picture above! I had a party of japanese tarus! Well only 3 of em, but they were all the damage dealers XD. Super fun time watching the lil guys do all the muscle work. But yeeeah....I still got a lot of merits to go. But its all good though! Although my thief isn't the buffest, I really do notice it getting a little stronger each week. ^^

My linkshell had a KS30 run! I even got a D ingot out of it! Some nice *clink clink* from something I wasn't expecting much from. Oh yeah, I also got raise sickness on a silly treasure chest in there...bleh...so embarassing...I felt really bad too, since I kind of had to sit out for the other runs due to me be weakened...I just gotta keep on working and helping up the linkshell as much as I can!

Then I did a little campaigninging. Check out that siege tower! Holy moly that thingy was big! Killed a bunch of peeps too. Craaaazy! All three nations have been under heavy attack lately. In fact, last time I checked Bastok was actually being attacked in the actual nation. Windurst has being doing good and we have been able to hold them off in Saru. Hopefully we can keep them there ^^;.

I've also been doing a little stuff to the side, but I'm not sure if its concrete yet. I'll tell later if it all works out. Oh yes, and sky should be picking up soon again. Hopefully we can start to get things rolling smoothly. ^^ Anyhoo, see you all in July peeps! Gotta kick some booty!

More Good Stuff

Woo! More Good Stuff! I hope June is treating everyone well! I know I'm having a blast during the warm months of summer! ^^ Lately, I have been busy with two things. Salvage and meriting. First things first! Salvage! I messed up super duper big time on a past run. My reraise was down and as the main healer...I accidently ate dirt. No one else had raise (at the time) and I totally thought I was just gonna lay on the ground for a bit. Soooo, I Hp'ed...then I was reminded that my body would warp floors with the group and they could raise me once they got the proper light bulb thingy. Uhhh....ooops? Yeah...I felt pretty bad for screwing over the group...and I'm pretty sure I acted immaturely. Just one of those days >_<;. However! I hopefully made it up a little by trying my best in the last salvage. Hm...maybe I should buy everyone cookies or something...that might work...

Anyhoo! I forgot the wing of salvage we were doing but we were fighting a bunch of pirates! I only died once, so I was pretty happy! We only fought...one NM and the boss I believe...not sure...anyhoo, the NM was super stingy and didn't drop a single piece of equipment, boooo!

I'm pretty sure I had fought the boss before, Long Armed Chariot or something I believe. Anyhoo, the linkshell's experience really shows! They killed the bugger with little to no trouble. He has a move called Brainjack that he uses over and over that charms people. Pretty fun watching peeps chase down other peeps trying to whack em upside the head. Anyhoo, we the chariot pretty fast but sadly we ran out of time before the items were lotted for and taken. >_<; Its alrighty though, there is always next time!

Yarp! That sums it up for my salvage adventures of late. Keep having a wonderful time peeps!

Up's and Down's

Hey everyone! How are you all? June sure is going by fast. So fast in fact, I haven't been keeping up with my updates! So lets catch up! First things first! I ran into a NM dragon, the one above, and decided to try to take it down. After a few tells and ls chats, Kallo, Frag, Rael, Scottie, Forix, and Kallo's friend showed up. We didn't have much luck due to the NM hitting hard and a link here and there so we wiped a few times. I had to go since I was running late for class (my moogle would kill me if I didn't go), but I found out that the peeps killed it later but had no luck with the drop. Thanks for coming out everyone! I owe you all a crayfish dinner!

For those of you who don't know, Cyprias kills a lot of NMs. Not no week NMs. He kills the big ones! Like the ones that require a lot of peeps and the treasure be rare. I don't remember why all too much, but he invited me to help kill Xolotl! I never saw the thing before and I really like having pictures of NMs. So I ran out and after waiting for a little bit, tada! It popped!

I was really more interested in how cool the thing looked! I had never seen a mob like that before! It was huuuge too! I wasn't doing too much dmg to it, but Cyprias kicked its butt while the rest of the group took care of links and kept me and Cyp alive.

Just look at that NM! It even has a giant staff thingy and everything! Heck! That staff is taller then me...with O-hat on! Sadly, Xolotl didn't drop anything, but I had a great time and it was nice to meet some new peeps. Thanks again Cyprias!

There was a random shout for a limbus run in Whitegate one day. I had never done an actual Limbus run before, so I thought, why not! It was really interesting to see all the strategies used on all sorts of different NMs and mobs. We found a few items to upgrade AF+1 but I didn't ask for any. Instead, I got a few Ancient Beastcoins! (ABC's for short, hehe). You can buy some nice things with em and I would really like a brutal earring for my thief. Cyprias was kind enough to sell a few more to me at a good price. Hopefully I can do a few more runs and get that brutal earring. Seems very very nice!

Arnor had gotten the ToD for Simurgh so he invited me and Milie (Rifu) to help kill it! I forgot his name but Arnor's friend was there as well. I hadn't fought Simurgh in over two years so it was really fun fighting him! Heck, the last time I fought him it was in a HNM ls and we had trouble taking him down with an allaince! This time, we easily killed him with just 4 people. I was very impressed with everyone. Great job peeps!

Assaults! I'm currently in a static group with Kandy and Souel and we have been going at it with assaults to get us some nice equipment. I'm going after the Pahluwan set since some of the pieces are very useful for thief. We decided to try a new one called "Shooting Down the Baron." Pretty much you have to kill an NM Imp. The only problem is that every 25% HP it loses or so, it teleports somewhere else on the map. Luckily Kandy went Smn so Carby chased it down most of the times. However, the Imp was down to less then 2% Hp and it warped with Carby dead. Oh snap! And we only had 5 minutes left to boot! So the three of us ran all over the place to find it. Luckily I ran into him pretty quickly. Souel and Kandy were a little distance away and after slipping up on accident, I mistakingly used chainspell. Luckily I had a lil bit of MP left so I nuked the bugger til he flew no more. It was super fun! I can't wait to see what assaults we do. ^^

Saaaaalvaaage! A super duper fun activity! I went Rdm this time since we were short on mages. It was really fun fighting a bunch of NMs in there. The linkshell really has their stuff down for most of em. We were even able to kill a chariot I believe. Sadly, the mobs have been very stingy and we haven't gotten many drops from em. Oh well, there is always next time~!

From time to time, I have tried my luck going after a nice dagger for my thief. I haven't had much luck with it before due to me not being able to wait after the three hour window. Luckily, I had a little bit of time and I settled to finish the score once and for all. The first time I died trying to solo it and wait for back up. Second time I went to sleep since I had a really long day. But the third day! Oh, it was definitely go time.

With the help of Souel and Cyprias we were able to to get the claim and kick the darn bird's butt. Despite the nasty Stormwind x3 it does, we were able to hold our ground and kill it. It dropped the super sexy dagger to boot! Thank you so much you two! The dagger is craaaazy good since the wind effect happens every time.

Last but not least! ENM time! We suffered an embarrassing defeat last time when I failed to convert and we ate dirt. Me and Cyp cyp went in this time. And we were super serious. Like war paint and everything! And oh man, the mob's didn't even stand a chance! We had no luck with drops, but what can ya do. But woo, it felt good getting revenge. I can't wait to do it again.

Thats all I can remember at the moment. I'll be trying to do more posts so I don't forget as much. I also had a funny quote but lost the paper I squibbled it on. Phooey...sorry about that peeps. Have a good one ^^;

Crazy Adventure Time!!!

Holy catfish! What a great way to end May and enter June! I had soooo many adventures I know I am gonna have trouble remembering them all! Bst, Thf, Rdm. I got to do something will all of em! It was crazy!!! Anyhoo! Lets see what I was up to!

First off, Cyprias's salvage ls is back up and running! Wooo! I can't make some of their runs due to my classes at... the Windy ... School of...Crayfishing, but when I can make it, its super fun! We didn't have much luck with all the NMs killed. However, I still found a pair of gloves needed for the skadi set! Thats only 12 more pieces to go for the whole set! Woo! ^^. Congrats to everyone who got stuff!

I had tried many times before, but I had little luck with the NM fight for the Bst pants in the past. This time my buff friends Arnor, Frag, and Hye came out to help and we kicked booty! Hye said Frag was gonna eat dirt and whammo! He did! I really do think Hye has some kind of mystical powers to tell the future. o.o Thanks you three! Couldn't of done that fight without ya! Oh! With the pants in hand, I was able to get Bst up to 60! It was super fun leveling at that bomb camp but I think I am passed the level for that camp now. I plan on taking a small break from Bst for a bit though since I leveled it for like a few weeks straight. I mean gosh, I gotta take a bath! Hanging out with beetles and bats are not good for your hygiene.

More Team Fist and Fish! Me and Cyprias really have the fight down like clockwork now. Don't get me wrong. The fight is still super fun! Especially since so much is going on at once. It really is one of those fights where for the whole time you're sitting on the edge of your seat biting your lip wondering if you can pull it off. Again we had no luck with treasure, but me and Cyp will totally find it! I know we will!

I totally forgot to take pictures of it, but me and Arnor went out and tried a ENM! It wasn't that hard at all! Arnor pretty much just kicked the mobs butt to death while I cheered him on with a few buffs here and there. But yeah, I did take a picture of a big tree while we were running to the fight area. Just look at that thing! You really don't see too many big trees like that in other parts of Vana'Diel. Like...ones you can stand next to and stuff. The Sanctuary doesn't count. Those trees are too big XD.

KS30! The place where treasure is rarely found! Since I was lucky enough to earn a few seals while leveling Bst, I tried my luck out at KS30. Dirtman and Dirtgirl are really nice peeps so when I heard them do a shout for it, I thought...heck! Why not! I came out with a super tiny bit of treasure, but it's better then nothing!

Souel is leveling Blm so he can nuke the bugger out of stuff, but he was having trouble farming spells. So me, Kandy, and Milie went out and helped him farm em up. I was able to get a few skill ups while we were farming in Gustav Tunnel, but the Yagudos were just getting their butts kicked waaay too fast for me to do much. Congrats on the scrolls Souel!

I had so many adventures I really did forget to take a lot of pictures. Like Cyprias helped me farm some stuff that I needed from Misareaux Coast. Super fun just relaxing and punching stuff with a friend. Especially when you don't have to worry about shadows. Yay Cyp's /dnc!

I got to do a few more assaults with Souel and Kandy. I even got my...oh yeah...I actually still need to finish the quest so I can get to T4 assaults. Totally forgot about it til now. Oops! I'll have to go back to that.

I know I am probrably forgetting stuff...but when you're running around doing so many adventures, sometimes it becomes a blur you know? Welp! If I remember anything, I'll be sure to post it! Lets make this June an amazing month peeps!

Hey hey hey! Hope everyone is doing good! Its almost the weekend and that means more adventures!!! I haven't really had many adventures, but *dun dun dun!* I have picked up beastmaster again! And with a burning passion like a thousands suns, I have pumped experience into it as fast as catching crayfish in windy waters! And look! I can almost wear all my AF! I still gotta get the pants, but after that! I'm a full fledged beastmaster! This is one job that is soooooo different then everything that I have played and I love it when I'm not getting my butt handed to me ^^;. I really have to thank Bane for telling me about the bomb camp in Garlaige Citadel. The experience is great! And unlike the super duper dumb sewers below Sandy, there are no trap doors to fall in and die! Its great! So watch out beasts of Vana'Diel. You're gonna have to deal with me!

Besides lvling and meriting, the only big adventure that I have had since the last update was the super crazy fight with me and Cyp! This time, he actually forgot an item that most people use to win...some kind of anima to freeze one of the mobs, but we toughed right through it and kicked booty! No treasure again, but him and me are going for it again! Sooner or later we are gonna strike paydirt! Who knows when!

Hello everyone. Gosh. Time sure does fly, doesn't it. ^^; I finally had a bunch of time on my hands, so I got to do some really amazing adventures! But first! Drum roll please! *Tat tat tat~!*
After a few exp parties, I finally got my red mage to 75 woo! Now I can just pump a bunch of merits into thief! XD. The only problem I have leveling rdm is although I get more parties...I somehow get a lot more bad parties. Maybe because I'm used to pulling, but wow, some people honestly can't pull a mob if their life depended on it. Oh wait! It does! Usually they eat dirt and then the party slows down...uggg. Anyhoo, If anyone needs a red mage, I can now help! ^^

Fraggles needed help finding sort of key. We farmed for a while but we couldn't find it at all! Turns out we were at the wrong spot. XD. Nowwww we know! Congrats on the key Frag! ^^ I forgot to take a picture but I also got to help Arnor kill some bird in Labyrinth of Onzozo. I barely had to do anything, he pretty much just pummeled the bird while I cheered him on. ^^; I know he has other parts of the quest to do, but I know he will get his AF in no time! Congrats Arnor!

Now some of you are like woah! What is that a picture of! Why its none other then Cyprias' well shaven legs. They were our secret weapon to the BCNM fight thingy we did! We lost last time, but with Cyprias' secret weapon, we totally kicked butt!

Look at the NM! One look at Cyprias' legs and bam! Down for the count! Well it sort of twitched and shivered for a bit before it died, but we still beat it! We had no luck with treasure, but I'm sure we will make some money next time ^^. Nothing can stand in the way of Team: "Fish and Fist" when we want something!

With salvage coming right around the corner, I have been stocking up assault points like a squirrel getting nuts ready for winter time! With the help of Souel and Kandy, I was able to add a few more points to my name. ^^ Hopefully I can get a few extra points and get me some pieces of equipment for thief. Some of that accuracy stuff seems pretty good. o.o

That pretty much sums up most of my adventures for the past week or so. I did go back in time, but all I really saw were a few lady bugs and this angry looking bomb. @_@;.

Work Suuuuucks~!

Oh my carbuncle! Having a job stinks! Mr. Moogle was super angry about my rising debt due to my furniture buying so I was busy paying the bills. However! Despite having a super tough workload, I was still able to do some great stuff!

Like level up red mage! Souel brought up a good point saying I would earn merit points a heck of a lot faster then thief since red mages get parties a heck of a lot quicker. Since my red mage is only 72, it shouldn't take too long to get it up there and then pump merits into my thief! So after dusting off my equipment, and buying a nice pair of errant gloves, I tried to put a group together.

I first searched around and found a nice monk. Since having parties with friends is always fun, I then went to my friend's list to see who was on. I had talked to Arnor before and he wanted to level with me so I sent him a tell. Luckly he was free and he brought his friend Tammyrose. Instead of bst, she came out kicking butt with smn! She is sooo buff! Anyhoo, I was having trouble finding a tank and a DD (I swear! They were all afk or something), I randomly saw Dagmar's name appear on one my searches so I immedietely sent him a tell. I was like, hey Mr. Galka, wanna exp? And he was like, sure, and drag Pooky along will ya? So bam! All of a sudden, we had a super duper buff exp party! And wowy! I hadn't leveled in Caedarva Mire in long time, but we freaken tore that place apart! I got 73, Arnor capped a few of his jobs, Tammy got a level I believe, and Dag, Pooky, and the mnk got a few merits. It was super awsome! Dagmar and the monk had to leave so Henita ran on out. We were amazingly able to keep leveling with 5 and we again tore stuff up! Great times all around! Thank you amazing buff friends for the great party!

Me and Cyp got to hang out for a little bit, grooving to some awsome beats searching for treasure. Our little plan didn't work out fully, but when we both have time, we are totally gonna kick some butt again. Thats right monsters! Watch out! Because team Fist & Fish are coming, and we want us some treasure!

I forgot to take pictures but I also got to do a few more assaults. Cyprias has been talking about doing salvage again so I have been stocking up on assault points like a squirrel stocks up nuts. I also want them nice pants thief can get from the Mamool one so hopefully I can work on that some more. I guess I will see what happens though, I can only hope for the best. ^^;

Oh oh! I also did some besieged! I ran into Ichrius and Sofi during all the chaos. Those two are still super duper strong! Sofi was blowing crap up like a thermo-nuclear cat on catnip while Ich beat up the mobs like a bunch of school kids beating the crap out of a pinata! Ich got sooo much hate I had to honestly use all my mana just to keep him alive. Super insane!

Last but super, mega duperly, not least, I finally got my Alchemist's Apron! Thats right people! I now actually look like a professional~! XD It felt super duper good finally getting a reward for allll the freaken points you have to put in to get it. I now have to get twice as many points for the furniture and the wand...but I know I can do it! Wooo~! Although I honestly don't make gil with the craft anymore, I always found alchemy to be a fun little craft to make stuff that can come in handy from time to time. I honestly could not have gotten this far in the craft without a lot of help though from all my friends. They gave me so many materials and hints on what to craft and what not. Thank you sooooo much everyone~!

Anyhoo, I know there was probrably more...but I gotta head on home before my moogle gets grumpy again. And let me tell ya, a grumpy moogle is never fun to be with. Talk to you later and hopefully I bump into more of you amazing friends. Yay!

F.U.N. Time!

F.U.N. time! You know! Friends Unite....uh...Nebimonites! I still gotta work on the N....anyhoo! I was able to get a lot of stuff done! Like help Arnor with some AF! I even got to use Rdm and stuff! Insane! I know! Him and his super buff bst friend Tammy tore up the super crazy mobs while I threw a few cures here and there. Watching Tammy kick booty totally made me want to level bst again....hm....

Then, still as Rdm, I got to help Zaine fight some NM in Davoi...in the past! I accidently threw a DoT, which I wasn't supposed to (we were going to sleep it when it used Hundred Fists) ...but we still killed it! Sure, Zaine got a little unlucky and got countered and ate dirt, but everyone was super buff and we were able to handle the situation fine! Wooo!

I also got to help some random stranger with some AF in Castle O. He said he asked me just because I was a thief and it looked like I wasn't doing anything...gee...he sure was blunt...anyhoo, he asked also for help with Genkai 1, but had to politely decline so I could also work on alchemy.

I actually don't talk about it a lot but I think alchemy is super duper awsome! You can make some really neat stuff with it! I've also been trying my super duper best to get an apron and skill up and I should be able to hit 93 once I can find a better way to get beehive chips, I died a few times farming the higher level bees in front of AU...800 then 1100 dmg from a Final Sting will do that to ya...oh well. I also tried my super duper best to HQ a few things for my friends but I just had no luck...phooey...I'm gonna keep on trying and hopefully I can. I really dislike it when you HQ synths that don't matter but can't HQ the ones that do. Although the synth I am working on is only one level below me...but still! I should HQ darnat!

And finally! I got to do a few assaults! Cyprias is working on getting salvage back up so I have been trying my best to stockpile some points for it. I haven't done any T3 yet but I know I can get to them someday. Points are points for now and any assault is good. ^^

Anyhoo! Thats pretty much it for now. I haven't done anything super big lately, but its the little things with friends that makes the best stories. So go out there and make great adventures with your friends everyone! They are the adventures you will remember the most!

The Little Things!

Hello world! You sure have been pretty happy go lucky lately. Just makes things awsome ^^. Although I didn't do anything big, I decided to still write about em. Like campaign! I've noticed that not as many people do it since the crowds have died down quite a bit. Its still super fun, but from time to time, I would get aggro from like 3 mobs and had to run around in circles till someone took em from me. I ran my booty off for like five minutes with only 8 hp. It was crazy! Then I took a random AoE and died, but it was one of those super intense moments ya know?

I had just finished my chores (darn you Mr. Moogle!) really late into the night when I got an invite from a japanese party. I hadn't been in one for quite a while, but I always rememebered them as super duper good parties. So after grabbing a nice warm cup of tea, I joined them and ran off to kick some colibri butt! It was probrably because I was a thief eating sushi...but I was super duper kicking butt! I was outdamaging a monk and warrior despite also pulling (darn you lazy bards!). However, half way through the party...it hit me. The japanese party I was in...it didn't have that super duper kick butt feel to it anymore. Sure, only me and one other person was 75, but my standards of super duper japanese party was not met. I'm not sure what that means...but it was wierd! I still came out with one merit, but the party ended quickly when half of them were going out to eat sushi. Those lucky peeps and their fresh fish...

Anyhoo! That pretty much sums it up for my weekend adventures. I also did a little farming to the side, but nothing big. I'm trying out a few spots at the moment but with the sporadic prices the auction has at the moment...we will see what happens. Hope you guys finish off April with smiles and good times! May is sure to be a blast! And to end April on a good note, I changed the music to a super duper awsome group! Enjoy! ^^

Zilart - It made me cry.

Get comfy peeps, for today, you get to hear of a story. One which some of you may have heard, and some of you who are still working on it. There was once this super race as the Zilart. And they tried to do some bad stuff. But then most of em died out. But then a few of em are still alive and are trying to do evil things again. Thats where the heroes come in. Because they follow the evil people to the evil lair and then have a super duper battle against the supposedly last evil Zilart person.

Now some of you actually read the titles, and are wondering...how the heck can you cry to that. Like any ending, its depressing sitting down...knowing that there is no more after it (I know I know, Apocolypse blah blah, but thats just a quest! Not a mission!). Its like having to bury your pet goldfish. I won't ruin the ending for those who still need to finish it, but I will say this, it is worth the time. Stuff happens, and at the end...(or right before the end...it depends), Gilgamesh has a little story that made me teary. Its just good!

Here is the main group that I fought with. I didn't know anyone but Kviton. Thats him to the far right. He showed up once my group got their butt kicked a few times. ^^; Thank you Kvi! You were an amazing tank! Drew in the middle had to leave so we had someone else come out, but besides that, everyone there was the main fighting force. After learning what not to do (hitting the guy for 0 dmg when his shield is up, bad), our group was able to quickly kick his butt! Thanks you strangers and Kvi! Good fightin!

Taking Care of Business~!

Hi hi everyone! Vana'Diel sure has been awsome lately! Although I don't really have a scedule to fit in end game stuff (sporadic work go go!), I've still enough time to go on some good adventures! Like Arn and me trying to hunt down some O-Kotes! We had no luck again, but it's all good! I'm sure we will get em next time!

Have you guys even gone searching through items on the AH, then find some item that you must super duper have? It might not be the best way to spend your gil...but you want it sooo bad? No? Well I sure as heck get that feeling from time to time ^^;. Like when I saw a piece of furniture called Alchemist's Tools. They dont increase my alchemy (although I did skill it up to 91!), they dont add to my moghancement (go go moghancement: experience), they just look cool! So after smacking down 150k at the AH, I got me some! My moogle house is almost complete! I just need a few more pieces of furniture and It will look as much as a house as ever! ^^.

I was fishing for a bit and was able to get a nice little picture of Windy from the ferry. The view reminded me when I first took the ferry to go to Selbina. I was only in some armor I found off some goblins, and I was still exploring much of the place. Good times! ^^

Last but not least! I did some assaults! It was some T2 one where you had to kill a bunch of undead. Hye and Bane joined me as we tried it out. We didn't finish the first round since we ran out of time on the last one. Thats when I sent out a tell and got out the big guns! Thats right peeps! Mr. Black belt Cyprias came out for round two and holy moly! He punched those undead until they died again! @_@ We ended up with a lot of extra time since he kicked a few skeles into their own graves. Cyp had to leave after that run but then Milie joined us for round three! It was super thief poke time! I still think of Milie as a whm so its really awsome to see her kick butt as a thief! ^^

After those assaults I finally got to go to rank three! Wooo~! It took me a little while to find the hoofprint (thanks Arnor! You're awsome!), but I finally did! So now I have a few more battles to try out ^^

After searching around for a little bit, it turns out a lot of peeps have their own little blogs! I was surprised! I didn't know so many of my friends made their own. Some of them look super fancy and everything! So go out and read about their stories peeps! These are super duper professionals who know a lot more then me. ^^;

Pushing to the Limits!

Holy moly! What an amazing lil weekend! I hope you are all enjoying life to its fullest! I was a lil bummed out since I had a super busy week and my moogle kept yelling at me to do my chores. But after I finished them all and had a free weekend, whammy! Totally super duper fun time! Lets get down to business and see what I did!

Merits! I don't have a lot of them, but I sure do love em! You can totally feel the difference when you add a few merits here and there. I had three merit parties over the weekend and they were all pretty good ^^. My first was one was at the bird camp at Nyzul Isle. Since we didn't have a bard, I got to be puller! And let me say, I still got my pulling moves! I was grabbing birds left and right, it was crazy! I was on fire and everything! Saving the mages with accomplice, pulling birds as if they were NMs, and keeping up with the other DDs! I even got complimented from the white mage about being a thief. I know a lot of my friends say that...but it just feels different coming from a stranger...you know? ^^; We got to talking for a lil bit and he asked to be friends. Of course I said! So thats another awsome peep I know in Vana'Diel.

My second merit party was with Milie and Rifuburade. Our red mage was missing a few screws somewhere, and poor Rifu ate a lote of dirt, but the party was still decent. ^^ I finally got to party with a high level scholar and I was very impressed. They got some very nifty abilities and I can't wait to see more of that job. Milie was unlocking her heart snatcher yet she was still dealing as much damage as me. As I talked to her for a little bit, it turned out she had a heck of a lot more dex then me. No offense to Milie at all, but I was sort of embarassed that she was keeping up with me. I was a level above her and had a blau! Not to mention a few merits. So after that merit party, I ran over to the Auction house and grabbed me some dexterity rings. And ta~da! My damage got a nice little increase.

My last party for the weekend was with Forix. He brought out his paladin this time and we exp'ed inside Mamook. I never exp'ed in there but it was pretty interesting! I haven't done a roaming exp party since waaaay back in the day when people used to chase down dhamels in Tahrongi Canyon instead of going to the Valkrum Dunes.

And I got to do besieged again. I must say, I hate the undead the most. They are super duper evil!!! Charming, cursing, tearing off your clothes, and not to mention their nasty AoE robots. I'm pretty sure I died over 6 times in that darn besieged. Despite hitting my head against the ground a few times, I got to poke the robots and watch parts fall off. I never noticed that they start losing pieces like their arms and torso after a while. Neato!

Welp! Thats my adventures for the week! Keep having an awsome, amusing, April everyone! Oh, and I forgot to get a funny quote again. >_<; I even saw a few but I forgot to write them down. However! To make up for my lack of silly quotes, I have changed the music! I got a few messages from peeps asking why I don't put songs in english on here. I have a few reasons. First, if I put something on here that a lot of people already know, it's not as interesting! Second of all, I put japanese stuff on here so you guys can enjoy the music for what it is! You don't have to understand what someone sings or plays to understand the meaning behind the music. Music is the heartbeat of the soul, just dance to the beats! Hey hey everyone! Hope you are all starting off this week fine and dandy! You gotta love spring! Beautiful weather and the plants dance in the breeze! How can you not be happy! ^^

With the help of Cyp's gloves, I was able to keep kicking booty with thief! Cyp came back so I gave em back, but I kept on going! Although campaign is nice for a little exp here and there, it sure as heck doesn't beat a good experience party! I had never been in one before, but I finally got to do a thief burn party! It was crazy~! Trick attacks, sneak attacks, regular poke poke attacks. We went all out! Although the other two thieves were outdamaging me (one of em had Maat's cap @_@;), I was pretty happy with the damage I was doing. Although Blau didn't increase my weapon skill damage by that much, I must admit my regular hits do a lot more before I have full TP.

Sadly, the thief burn party was really only made to fight birds...and we kind of had to camp on top of another group. I didn't feel too good doing it...but I must admit the other party being rude really didn't help.

Soon after my first party disbanded, Forix decided to merit a bit so I tagged along! It took us about two hours, but we finally got a skillchain! I was really surprised at how hard it was to get it right...and to top it off, the bonus damage really wasn't that spectacular. But, it was fun to get it working, and it brought back some good memories. ^^

Anyhoo! I got me some chores I gotta do. My moogle is making me do the laundry since he is doing the dishes and what not. Keep kicking booty everyone! Oh yeah! Back to funny quotes!

Anyone know what time it is!? Well erm...although my watch says its around nine, I'm pretty sure its dance o' clock! Woooo~! Get your groove on peeps! Ahhhh yeah~! Hope you are all having a good time and what not! Anyhoo! Lets get down to business!

I came back from my break relaxed and super ready to go on some adventures. While leveling Bst for a little bit, I learned Cyp was gonna have to take a break due to some personal stuff and I wouldn't see him for a bit. After talking to him for a little bit, he handed me his dusk gloves. At first, I thought he was giving them to me because he was quitting so I kept saying no. But as it turned out, he was coming back and just wanted me to take care of em and put em to good use! I was like wowy! Those gloves are not cheap, and he still trusted me with em! I was crying and sniffling due to his trust. (In all honesty, I just had a runny nose and needed something to blow my nose on. But dont tell him!) It was touching! So only after having him promise me he would come back and pick em up, I took them.

With the mighty gloves on my hands, I threw my Bst equipment to my moogle and set out to kill some mobs as thief. After recieving haste from a friendly summoner, I tore threw yagudos like a mithra at an all you can eat sushi buffet! It was super duper crazy! I was dancing from yaggy to yaggy totally kicking butt! Doing the robot at one yagudo and then moonwalking to the next, it was a dance party! I am totally going to have to save up for a pair of those gloves. They are a lot nicer then I remembered them to be. Hopefully I can grab a merit or two with the gloves. They be buff!

And....although I told myself I would keep my nose out of business...something else happened! After talking to a few of my old ls mates...and hearing about how my old linkshell had pretty much fallen apart except for a few members...I was shocked. Although I knew Strife had some problems when I left...I never thought the ls would fall apart like that. It really hurt seeing the linkshell in that state and I couldn't just sit and watch it. So yeah....although I told myself I wouldn't go back to the ls...I did. When Souel said I was stuck with him...I suppose he was right. @_@; So now I am trying to get the linkshell up and running back to its super duper kick butt self! I know...I'm not a leader and I can't do much, but I know there has to be a few things I can help out with! So watch out Vana'Diel! Strife is coming back, and this time, it's gonna be on fire!

Looking Back

How are you all doing? I hope none of you guys are getting into trouble or anything! Anyhoo, I decided to write a little thing during my mini vacation. This has become more then a simple diary of FFXI for me. FFXI is much more of a game to me and this little blog has helped allow me to view my adventures from a different perspective. Although I have been catching up with some of my old friends, eating great food, and shopping til I drop, I still have had some free time. Time to sit back and relax. Almost a peaceful meditation if you will. Relaxing in my favorite chair, I got to think of a lot of stuff. One of them being my adventures.

It has been four years since I have entered the world of Vana'Diel. Within those four years, I have spent hours and hours to accomplish feats which I cannot put on a resume or tell my friends. Peacock amulet? What the heck is that? Most of my friends care little to the AF sets that I have (three so far, hopefully a lot more to come!), or the amazing dagger that my thief now wields (Blau really is nice ^^;). Looking back at what I have started, I must admit I never honestly saw myself going this far into the game. I have spent so many hours leveling, crafting, doing mudane work, and getting lost which could have been spent elsewhere. However, as I look back, I don't see the numbers of how much my stats have improved or the equipment I have picked up along the way. When I rewind, there is something more important that I see. The experiences and growing that I did playing this game. Four years is a very small time frame of anyones life. And to top that off, only a fraction of those four years were spent playing the game. However, in those four years I experienced much more then a simple game. I experienced another life.

If I remember correctly, I have been in 10 linkshells. Some of them are much more memorable then others. But I know for a fact that I learned something from all of them. From simple manners, to knowing what to say/do at specific times, I have grown up from that noob (<-- had to look it up, I did remember the meaning!) of a mithra in white RSE to a hopefully more respectable cat in some what better looking clothes (I swear, a few people at SE need to take a fashion course). Some linkshells taught me how to play thief better. Some focused on crafting and teaching the ways to make gil to the side. A few even threw me to my death at monsters so people could get farther in the area (Dynamis is evil!!!). Yet from all of them, I know I have grown. I know it must be silly for someone to say they became a better person because of some game but its true! I honestly mean it! I know this post must be very akwardly sounded (akward turtle) but I am writing it for at least myself. To those I ever rubbed the wrong way, or I ever angered, I am sorry. I never meant to. I think...well except that one taru in that one exp pt....but thats not the point. XD

Thank you everyone who I have ever met along the way. Vana'Diel has given me so much laughter and friendship that I don't regret a single second in that world. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you! If I could, I would all buy ya a good cup of tea. But since I can't, I'll just drink a lot and toast to the great memories I have had. May I have a gajillion more with some of the most awsomest people ever! *Chugs her tea*.

Crawlers Galore!

Woah! Hey there peeps! I didn't see ya there! Hope you guys are all having a great March! I've been exploring the depths of Crawlers Nest. Besides crawlers, there are all sorts of wierd insects down here! Beetles, flys, scorpions, and even exorays! Well...I'm not sure if exorays are insects...but they kind of look like one!

I've been leveling on pretty much everything that moves down here. I pretty much fought every mob with every other mob. Sometimes the same monster against itself! Although exorays have some good enfeebles, they turned out to be too squisy for me. I'm not a big fan of tanking as beastmaster, so I decided to switch to beetles. Those little guys tanked like a champ!

And here is my dance partner! I call him Mr. Beet. He kept hate like a good little pet and saved me from links multiple times! It took me a little while, but with the help of Mr. Beet, I was able to get to 55 bst! Wooo~! One more level until the hat! ^^

Anyhoo, I have already outgrown that camp so I am off to find another! I still want to level a bit in the current areas before going into the past. I think one more level or so, and I will be back into that super duper bst machine! Watch out beasts! Miry is coming! =3

Oh yeah, before I find my new camp however, I am going to be gone for a while. I will be going home for a week to visit mommy and pops! Being a bst and all, it will be nice to have a bed and some good food. No matter how hard I try, I can't make good curry or fish on the go. Little crayfish? Sure! But nothing super duper like a home cooked meal! I can just imagine the fresh sea food...the giant bowls of rice...the delicious curry...*stomach rumbles*. Mmm! So don't trip, potato chip! I will be back with a full belly and fully rested. Then its super duper adventure time! Wooo! *Runs off*

Salvage: Insects Everywhere!?

Hi hi everyone! How have you all been? ^^ I've been slowly getting the hang of bst again. I went back to Bostaunieux Oubliette and was actually able to level pretty well. It was a little on the slow side, but the exp for each fight was decent. Sadly, I forgot that place had trapped doors hidden in the water. And below the trap doors are evil leeches that swarm you for dinner. I think I was brunch. Regardless of my death, I can't wait to go back and kick some more butt. Two more levels til I can wear the bst hat! ^^

My salvage linkshell did salvage again! From time to time we don't have enough members to get a run started, but this time we had two extra! It was great! Anyhoo, on the first and second floor, we had to kill monsters under specific conditions. Like a bomb who has to be killed in less then 45 seconds or he blows up. Or four of those jelly thingies without any magic what so ever. Since my salvage linkshell is the hizzie to the bizzie, we were able to do both of em! So after we did that, we got to fight a rampart that spawned chigoes like crazy. And another that shot out bees like it was going out of style! Regardless, both of the ramparts have a chance to spawn NMs instead of the regular mobs. We had no luck with the bee one, but the one who spawned chigoes spawned the spider twice!

Sadly, the darn spider was very stingy, and we didn't get any drops off it either time. But thats ok! We still found a pair of pants for Skadi and some armor I think is for Ares? I'm not sure...anyhoo, at least we came out with something! ^^ Welp! Thats my report for the day. Hope you guys keep having a great time everyone!

Drama Queen

Welp. Sometimes, life just kicks your butt. Not a small push to the ground or anything. Its like you get knocked the ef down. Like you wake up and Faust is there to give ya a nice face full of metal fist. Anyhoo, I have been a little dissastisfied with the game. It wasn't just one specific thing or anything. It was a bunch of little things. And you know how you get to that one little thing that just pushes you over the edge? The one where you start doing irrational things and you're blinded with pure rage like a Galka running out of sausages. Yeah. I got grumpy and left the Strife ls.

A lot of peeps say I'm very nice...but that is far from true. I am an awful drama queen. If the wrong buttons get pushed. I can't get anything done. My mistakes get worse and worse. My mood becomes a whirlwind of anger and fat tail. Regardless. I try my best not to, but sometimes...I hurt people. So I apologize to anyone who I angered or got worried. I am ok. Yes, I was and still am a little stressed. But like any other mithra, with a little bit of fish, and a lot of tea, I was able to calm down some.

Anyhoo, without the responsibilties of strife, I have a lot of free time again. I intend on taking up bst again and exploring again. I think bst would be pretty a good job to go exploring the past. I still haven't been everywhere yet. Regardless, just like this post, I am currently a jumbled mess and just need some time to myself. @_@

Im still Alive!

Holy moly! It's been almost two weeks since I posted! I apologize for my absence peeps! I was running around exploring sea and talking to some dolphins when a giant shark popped out of no where and chased me but then I ran into a UFO and it went blearg so I had to run away again and then I went exploring and saw these circle thingies and I was like woah so I went around and poked them and got a map and so I put a dot where I saw the UFO but then the shark caught up and kicked my butt *faint*.

How is it going everyone? I apologize for my absence but I have been super duper busy exploring the uncharted lands which are now open for me. (Mr. Moogle: Actually, there are maps for that area yo-) Shut it moogle! I'm telling the story! Anyhoo! My linkshell showed me a few places and they kicked some UFO and NM monster butt. I'm not sure what they farm there but it should be interesting! I love finding treasure and a new area means new treasure!

Speaking of new areas, I also got to go to limbus! Imagine never doing sky before and on your first run fighting Kirin. That was pretty much my experience with limbus. Except instead of Kirin, I fought a giant killer robot that starts on four feet but sometimes goes on two feet and punches you! I was like woah and then got punched in the face and ate promyvion dirt. I learned my lesson. My linkshell lost but we are totally gonna kick its butt next time! I can't wait to show that robot who is the boss!

I also got to fight one of the last bosses in salvage! My salvage linkshell supposedly beat him when I wasn't there one day but we had no luck during my visit. Cyp said something about needing moar monks. Probrably because they are so buff and what not. I can't wait to see what treasure pops out of this guy though! He is like a super tough pinata that shoots lasers at you! Who doesn't wanna kick that kind of pinata's butt. Anyhoo! On the salvage run before this one, I got lucky and found another piece for the skadi set! Now I just need 13 more pieces! ^^ I don't know why but salvage is still probrably one of the funnest end game things to do. Maybe because the group is so small. Or maybe because we're always seeing new things or attempting new paths. Regardless, salvave is awsome! For those of you who haven't, you should really try it! You won't regret it!

Another adventure I got to do was treasure hunting! I did a KS30 aaand a BCNM 40! And guess what! I earned jack squat from the KS30 like usual and got another 100k from the BCNM40! Frag, Arnor, and I had some trouble scheduling it, but we finally found an afternoon where we could do the slime fight again. I'm not sure if the slimes got weaker, or if Arnor and Frag have been eating their vegetables, but we tore through the slimes like a fat taru eating a jelly sandwich! Even though our drop rates are nothing spectacular, this BCNM is turning out to be a decent way to get gil. I hope we can do it again soon! ^^

On top of all the new stuff, I also got to do sky again! Kirin has been backed up for quite some time due to other linkshells taking a while, so my linkshell has been showing the lesser gods who is boss! Turtle, tiger, dragon, bird. You name it! We have been able to kill them all with little difficulty and our expertise is definitely showing now! What would probrably have led to a wipe is now taken care of and my linkshell still keeps going at it! I haven't gotten any new pieces of armor, but I think I might start looking at some stuff for my red mage. I got it to 72!

Anyhoo! I'm sorry for my absences peeps. Life has been kicking my butt and I've been trying to survive as much as possbile. It took me a few days (I'm not very savy with technology and what not) but as a little sorry present to ya guys, I got music on here now! I hate websites that blast music right when you join so you gotta press play. So now when you read my blog, you can listen to the song which Miry runs to every day. Have a good one everyone! Dun dun, dun DUN!!!!! Hey hey peeps! Sorry for not posting sooner, adventures lead to other adventures and then you run out of time and stuff ^^; (hey Kallo! Hush!). Anyhoo! With the help of the linkshell, I got to do the airship fight! Dun Dun dun~!
Here is the lowdown of the peeps from all my runs: (In alphabetical to boot!)

Arnor: Aaaarnoooor~! Arnor, the mega blue mages of blue magery, actually came ninja! Despite saying he was gimp, he tanked like a champ and in all honesty surprised the heck out of me! I didn't know ninjas could last that long! It was crazy!

Ashrah: Ashy! The amazing red mage who made me pick up a staff and be a red mage like her ^^;. Ashrah came white mage for a run and helped keep the party alive! Her white mage skills were just as good as her red mage skittles! No, not the colors of the rainbow, just awsome!

Cawdor: Its Cawdor! For those of you who don't know, Cawdor used to be me super duper red mage friend! (He is the creator of the fat tailed kitty nickname ~.~) Then he took a vacation for a while but he is back! ^^ Anyhoo! I only remembered him as red mage but it turns out he has a super buff samurai to boot! Amazing!

Evaine: She be a super duper white mage elvaan lady! I think its her being such a tall elvaan, but she had almost as much mp as a taru! Evaine has a friend mithra named Talliah that she locks in the closet @_@;. Not sure why but Talliah told me to watch out for a ball of string. Luckly, Evaine didn't use it on me and instead kept the party alive ^^;.

Frag: Ahh yeah~! Fragalicious came again! Of course he is still working on his fitness. The super buff bald warrior switched to his stonewall paladin after we changed our set up. I don't see his warrior too much but its really impressive! He pumps out the damage like its going out of style or something! I might actually lvl warrior again or someting! Who knows!

Souel: Its the ninja-king! Or the Souel-man as he likes to call himself. XD Like always, Souel was there to lead his expertise in the fight and told me what to do and also what not to do. Like healing when he is kiting Mammets. If you're heal while Mammets are kiting? You're gonna have a bad time. If you're standing too close to any bosses on the airship? You're gonna have a bad time. Then Souel came Monk for a few rounds and knocked a few teeth out. I want mine back Souel!

Zaria: Even though she is the cutest taru in all of Vana'Diel, Zaria nuked the bosses socks off! Even the ninja king couldnt keep hate off of her! Insane in the membrane! I know! I swear tarutaru pour mana straight into their cereal or something, she would nuke the heck out of stuff and still have mana to boot! I had to use convert to just keep up!

Aaand Crazy whm person: Didn't know the stranger but a whm helped us in one run. Thank ya crazy whm person!

Thank you so much everyone! I know that fight wasn't cheap but you guys were amazing! I can't wait to get up to sea with you all ^^b.

There is the Jeuno Armada. See how many airships there are? Thats around how many times I had to do the fight (give or take a few). It wasn't easy!

Our first night of doing the fight, we didn't have a lot of luck. Half of us were new to the battle and we were still learning a lot about the fight. The mammets gave us quite a bit of trouble in the beginning but Zaria (I think) told us her strategy and it turned out to work pretty well!

Despite losing quite a few times the first night, we tried the fight again the next day. With so many runs we had the Mammets down to clockwork and we totally kicked butt on the other bosses. I even got to Chainspell nuke the last guy! Oh ho ho~! The power of red mage is awsome! ^^

Anyways! Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you guys! I couldn't of done that fight without you all and I got to kick some major booty with all of ya! I know it cost us all some gil and time and I thank you so much for your sacrifices. I owe you all muffins. Er...well I'm an alchemist...maybe some potions or something ^^;. I hope you all have a wonderful week!

Hey hey peeps! I've had quite a few adventures but I will give a full report tomorrow! Anyhoo, I've been talking with a few peeps and there has been a sense of melancholy in quite a few peeps. Not just one or two peeps, like a bunch of ya! Maybe someone put sad pills in yer yagudo drinks. Maybe it was the yagudos! Anyways! I just want everyone to know that although I might joke around a lot, I honestly like every single one of ya! Even the jerks who talk crap on me and stuff. You guys rock! Cause you gotta have Yin & Yang! Good and Bad! Vana'Diel is so amazing and I love with with my heart! Sure, it gets you down from time to time, but golly gee! It has those moments when you can jump 20 feet in the air in happiness ^^.

Hickory Lumber! It be rare!

Oh snap son! I be posting again so soon!? It must be the end of the world! Juuuust kidding! XD How is it going everyone? Hope you all had a great monday! Mine sort of stunk but after finding some more treasure, it got better!

I was farming me some cockatrice meat when Kallo asked to help farm some hickory lumber. I was like woo! The ls must be having some sort of barbecue or something! You know! Hickory barbecue? Hehe! Get it? No? Yeah that was a bad joke...anyways! The lumber is used to make a shield that spawns a NM that has a chance to drop a better shield! So I ran out and started helping right away!

Kallo had to go to sea so I was out there for a bit alone but after a while, more and more ls peeps started showing up! Kallo came with his buddy Aeredon. Aeredon is a corsair. Haven't seen too many of them pirates so was interesting to even farm with him. Them dice be strong! o.o

After a little bit, Arnor and Nicolekidman showed up! We started kicking Giga booty! In fact, we were killing so fast, the Gigas weren't showing up fast enough! It was insane in the membrane!

Ugg. Pendants, N Hands, & Tigers! Oh my!

Woo!! WOOO! Woo!! WOOO! Oh yeah. Not just one woo today peeps, we get two kinds today! I had some very adventury adventures of...adventuring? Bah! Who cares! I had a great time! ^^ I don't go into Pso'xja that often since its kind of spooky and they have treasure chests that will kill you. I mean, I thought mimics were just in thief horror stories to scare the little thieves growing up. Oh no. Those buggers have teeth! And they bite! With their teeth! And where the treasure usually is? Even more teeth! Anyhoo, I got to fight Golden-Tongued Culberry. He is a pretty strong tonberry but wierd at the same time! He doesn't use any tonberry moves, at least I didn't notice them. All he does is cast magic. Sure, its super powerful magic, but nothing on Kirin's level or anything. Anyhoo, we killed him a few times and got a few pendants for a few peeps. I'm sorry about you not getting one Arn. I know we will get ya one someday! Same with the O-kotes! Me and Arn had no luck trying to get them darn kotes as well...thats ok though. Like me great thief mentor Dagmar used to say: If you don't get it the first time, you punch that mob in the face over and over until it finally gives in and drops it! @_@b

Here is me and Cyp before a besieged! Usually Cyp keeps me alive during the fights while I attempt to tank multiple mobs at once. Great times! ^^ You will get that black mage to 75 in no time Cyprias!

I had sky again! Wooo! The weather was beautiful and everything! I mean look at that view! You can practically see all of sky from up there! Like, if a tarutaru stood on Genbu, and I stood at Suzy, I think I could still make funny faces at them and they would see it! Anyways! My linkshell went after two gods today. Byakko, the only cat stronger then me. And Suzaku, the crazy firebird of death! Not a pheonix, cause pheonixes are cool cause they die and come back and stuff. Oh no, Suzaku is just a bird that spams fire spells, and kills people. Lots of em!

Like THIS! Actually this was Byakko. Some of you may remember my stories of my Dynamis pulls. Byakko? That cat puts my suicide pulls to shame. He doesn't pull a bunch of mobs and kills an alliance. He just kills the alliances himself! I mean, I could maybe punch a taru or two out cold, but a whole alliance? Thats skill. But thats ok though!

Cause my linkshell fought him another two times after the wipe! And this time we showed him who was boss! I even lucked out and got my N hand abjurgation thingy majigy! Congrats to everyone else who won stuff! I mean, the gods were super duper generous today. You wanna know why? Cause me thf mentor Kallo showed up and mugged those Gods til they were naked! Oh yeah, Kallo can find almost anything if he wants it. Great job teach!

Anyhoo, I rushed as fast as I could to get my hecatomb mittens made. Amazingly, Cyp somehow beat me. Him and his scary ninja powers. I meant to get a nice picture of the gloves but I rushed out to try to beat the final Zilart mission. I had failed once before with a German group and I was really hoping to show that little kid who was boss. Sadly, that kid just backhanded my whole party and we ate dirt. Souel said that the fight is Trio-able so I wanna see the ninja king do his work o.O

Hey hey everyone! How are you all doing? I hope you guys are all doing great! Like I said I would, I got to test out Blau in actual battle situations. I fought with it in besieged and campaign and wowy! The thing actually packs a pretty good punch. The damage increase is only slightly noticeable but the accuracy and short delay sure is! I must admit, despite being poor (I can no longer afford the delicious meals cooked by the cooking guild and am now eating the crayfish I catch in Windy @_@;), this dagger is super awsome! Now I just gotta get me that kukri off that darn bird.

I got to do salvage again! Wooo! My salvage linkshell picked up some new members so lets do the rundown!

Cyprias- He be the leader of the pack. His skills are oh so wack. His monk be kicking butt and taking names. Making me look too weak is defintely one of his games.
Rafnir- Rafnir be the white mage who be curing it for real. Even though he is a taru he is totally a big deal. When he be curing and saving your behind. You just be thinking what is going on in his crazy mind.

Hecky- Hecky is a dragoon who puts me to shame. Her spear kicks so much butt it even got its own name! What is it you ask? I don't got a clue. But you better watch out or that spear might be coming for you. o.o (Congrats on the mask thingy!)
Krueger- I met this ninja right before our big run. Even though we died in assault it was all games and fun. He be a nice guy not sure what to add. I hope he keeps coming and his attendance isn't a short fad!
Krashport- Krashport be a thief just like me its so cool! I can come red mage and not look like a fool. His treasure hunting skills be just as good as mine. We found a lot of cells so it was his day to shine!

So yep yep! Another great adventure in Salvage. Made some new friends. Got to try it on Red mage. And got some treasure! Hope you all keep having a wonderful week! ^^

The Amazing Blau!

Hey hey peeps! Hope you all had a wonderful week! I sure had a busy one! Here is me and my mentor Kallo. Kallo needed help with a Bastok mission so he asked me to help him out! We duo'ed a ghost and let the other two depop. Kallo died. I laughed and giggled. That was a mistake. Its not smart to laugh at your mentors @_@;.

Kallo tripped me and then I ate sand! Actually, the darn ghost had a strong posion. I could of killed the ghost before it got the poison off but noooooo~! Kal had to make sure the other ghosts depopped. Oh well! Congrats on the mission Kallo!

After talking to me thief mentor and a few other thieves, I decided that getting a blau would be very helpful. After saving up for a long long time, I finally got me one! I don't do more damage with my weapon skills, but I hit a lot faster! I still haven't gotten to try it out in a exp party so I'll tell you guys how it goes! Its shiny and blue like my hornetneedle. I really wish the darn hidden effects were just written on it. I know they are there but I just don't like not seeing what it does @_@.

My linkshell had a huge gathering in Ifrit's Cauldron. No, it wasn't to sacrifice me this time. This time we went after Bomb Queen! She is super easy to kill! I was actually shocked! We did like...50 runs! Congrats to everyone who got a ring! I don't know why peeps want the +75 hp...I guess its good for some stuff. Meh! XD

A few peeps also wanted to get a Odorous knife so I tried to help farm a few of the synthesis materials. Me, Sayl, and Eli tried getting the lumber off the gigas but the drop rate stuuunk~! Luckly, Anor knew his way through Pso'Xja so him and I ran in and kicked some tonberry butt! We got the lumber for both Sayl and Attikus really quick! To top it off, Arnor helped me get some shiny bracelets so I could open more doors in Pso'Xja! Now I can go treasure hunting down there! I can't wait! ^^

Another piece of the Odorous synth is a piece of White steel! After a very long time of farming, we finally found a piece! Congrats Sene! Hope you got your pendant! After finding the white steel, we then fought Mr. Sozu Rogberry! He drops thief's knife! We totally kicked his booty. He dropped the knife and it went into the linkshell bank. Not sure what happens to it but yay linkshell!

My salvage linkshell didn't have enough people for a run so we did assaults instead! Rafnir, Hecky, and I did the gold statue thingy one! We almost died to the mimics a few times but we still had fun!

Hi hi ls! Sorry for not updating in quite a while. I was very sick for a few days and I wasn't able to do much besides sleep. My moogle kept trying to get me out of bed and do my chores but I just let him do em. XD.

Anyhoo! I was able to have a few adventures. I camped the bird again and was able to get claim. Me, forix, Cyprias, and a thf and his rdm friend killed it pretty fast. We had a few deaths and the fight was super intense! That bird can spam an AoE moves three times super fast and I ate sand almost instantly! Sadly, no drop again. Thats ok though! Im sure it will drop again next time!

My linkshell took down Kirin again! Me and Kallo's treasure hunter worked overtime! We found two N bodies and one D body! I lost both lots on the N bodies >_<;. Its all good though. There will always be a next time ^^. Congrats to those who won them. Except Rig...cause he smells...like poo.

Well thats all I can remember off the top of my head...I probrably did more...but again...I was asleep for quite a bit in my bed. @_@; Hope you all have a great week peeps! ^^

Mining For Treasure!!!

Rawr! Hey hey peeps! What a fun week! Here is me in Al Zahbi before a besiege! Although they are a lot more hectic and crazy then the new campaign, they are still super fun! ^^ I been doing as many besieges as possible cause I've been using a lot of Imperial Standing to buy a bunch of runic portal passes. What am I doing with all those passes? I'm mining!!!

Mining is so awsome! Just look at the picture I took! Isn't it exciting!? Every time I look at it I sit at the edge of my chair thinking, oh man! I wonder what I was about to mine up right that moment! It could be a flint stone! Or a super shiny rock worth a lotta gil! Who knows! But yeah, I don't earn that much gil as compared to farming, but I find mining a lot of fun! Maybe because I haven't done harvesting since...well since red moko grass came out which was a long time ago. Or maybe I just like the idea of not knowing what yer gonna get! In fact I died with my red mage so many times mining, that I have lost over 10k exp and delvled back to 70! But I don't mind at all! Its super fun and I can always get a exp with red mage anyhow. XD Anyhoo! I plan on kicking a lotta butt this weekend so see ya then peeps!

Mentors

Hello everyone! Its time for another fun filled blog! I got to do salvage again! And wowy! We totally got our butts handed to us! XD We tried going after the megaboss at the top and holy moly, that chariot is crazy! It his this wierd move where it charms you and puts some kind of DoT on ya. Regardless, we ended up either getting smacked into the ground by the NM or smacked into the ground by our fellow party members. Cyp said we did pretty good for our first run but gosh! I had so much fun!!! Exploring new places and fighting new bosses is always fun! Even when you get your butt handed to ya. Cause you know next time you're sure as heck gonna pummel them into the ground next time! I can't wait to revisit Salvage. =3

I got to do some more of campaign again! At first I just ran out all by myself but after a few minutes Henita showed up. She is this super insane dancer. Like...she can solo stuff that I couldn't even last a few seconds @_@;. But yeah, she continued to show me the ropes in campagin. It didn't stop me from dying a bunch but I never stopped having fun. XD And after a little while, like 5 more peeps from my ls showed up! It was like a little linkshell garrison. Good times. ^^b

Even before starting thief, I was first a white mage. I was just new to this game, but I ran into a super awsome thief name Tendrak. He was only a 45ish thf at the time, but he impressed me so much (galka with flee was soooo cool!!!) that I stopped white mage and decided to make thief my main job. I was like wow! I can find treasure and gil easier, and I run faster?! This job is great! Tendrak was also the thief who helped me get my leaping boots. At the time, the boots were worth 300k and that was a crazy amount of gil to me at the time. After camping it for a few days with him, we finally go the boots. But before he passed, he said to me "Miry, as your first mentor, promise me you will never sell these boots." I of course agree'ed and all of a sudden I had a pair just like my first thf mentor! I was so shocked and happy! Although Tendrak quit his days of thf a long long time ago, I still keep my leaping boots to this day. They are something I will never give away or sell.

My second thief mentor was a hume named Vaandal. I had just finished leveling in the jungle and had gotten Trick Attack and Viper Bite. I was never taught to use SATA and viper bite together so I was using them all seperately.
Vaan: Miry, try setting it up so you can use all three of them together.
Me: Uhhh, I'll try
The next thing I remember is falling in love with thief.
Me: OMG! Vaan! Vaan! I just did 350 dmg! Vaan! Thats crazy!!!
Vaan: You're now a real thief Miry! Congrats! ^^
On top of teaching me SATA, he also helped me get my AF and taught me a lotta other ways to use thief properly. He showed me some decent farming spots at the time, and how to set myself up for certain mobs and what not. He also told me not to stand behind the tank 24/7 since some mobs had cone AoE's in front of him. Or the importance of certain bolts and how they can save your butt. He pretty much helped me learn the basics of using a thief in battle situations.

And now, I have a third thief whom I can add to the wall of thief mentors. Although I have talked about him a few times, I never really...complimented him. Although he is a better thief, better then me actually, I never admitted it. On top of being better then me...well...he always came off smug to me. Who is this amazing thief whom I now call a mentor? Why it is none other then Kallo. Yes people, you can all pick up your jaws from the floor now. Anyhoo, me and Kallo have always joked with each other, arguing who the better thief is and what not. And after joking around a bit, he tried to give me a piece of rotten meat. I thought he was kidding so I declined the trade. As it turned out, it was a drop from a bastok mission where Kallo solo'ed 3 pretty tough mobs. And truth be told, he wanted to give it to me hoping I would someday reach that lvl of being a thief. I was honestly speechless when he told me this. I...I really didn't know what to say. I felt really bad...and ashamed. But yeah...after accidently well...insulting Kallo, we got to talking about the truth behind treasure and being a thief. Not the job abilities and what not, but the actual idea. What kind of treasure do we hunt for? The material stuff? Stuff that sells for a lot on the AH? Or can it be an item that is priceless just because it came from a friend and means so much? Does the object even have to be tangible? Is it possible to steal one's heart or a kiss? The conversation left me feeling... well...more... knowledgable? So yes, after that discussion with Kallo, I had a much higher sense of respect for him. I realized more about me job then before. So thank you Kallo. I will study hard and become a thief of such caliber and follow the true ideals of thievery. /kneel

New Adventures in Old Places

Hey hey Peeps! How is everyone? I didn't have much time this week but I was still able to get a few adventures in! I got a random tell from my old friend Rael. She is this super strong mithra warrior. Like, she could punch me in the gut and I would need a raise. I think she does a bajillion push ups a day or something. Its crazy. Anyhoo, she needed help getting past the doors in Eldieme Necropolis so I ran out to help her. She was actually going to solo the NM above and asked if I could stick around so she had a better chance for treasure. And we all know I can't pass up on treasure ^^;. So we took down the NM with Rael pummeling it into the ground and me poking it hoping to make it drop some sort of wand. And it did!

I also ran into another good buddy of mine named Norris. He is pretty buff mnk (not as buff as some in my ls). Anyhoo, he was camping the Goblin for Moldy Earring while I ran into him. I felt really bad for the guy. He was 0/11! Knowing his pain about not getting treasure, I teamed up with him and bam! We got the Moldy Earring on the next goblin NM! My treasure hunting skills must of gone up or something! Its so great to help out friends ^^.

And what kind of thief would I be if I didn't help my LS farm stuff in sky! I have had sky access for quite a whiles now, but I have never seen light weather up there. Let me tell you peeps, it is super beautiful~! Although I was pulling some robots to spawn Despot, I admit I stopped for a lil bit just so I could look up into the sky. It looked so magical up there with the pretty lights. I wish I could of taken more pictures, but the moment I was going to, the robot I pulled finally caught up to me and punched me upside the head. So I had to run back to my ls ^^;.

And here we have Mother Globe and her best friends forever, Slave Globes! This has got to be one of my favorite NMs, just because I get to dodge like 10 of the little globes for a small time. Anyhoo, for those of you who don't know, Mother Globe is one of them big Pokeball detector thingies. She is a pain to melee on since her shock spikes deal a lotta dmg, so what most peeps do is build up TP on her little slave friends, and then use super buff moves on her! Its a pretty simple NM and its a lotta fun!

Gil, you can never have enough

How is everyone doing? ^^ I hope all of you peeps have started out the year great like I have! Its only been a few days and already I have a bunch of stuff to show! But first! I forgot to mention it before, but a couple days ago, I got to do Promy-Dem again! Milie needed it so I decided to help out. Luckly, we ran into an alliance that was on their way up as well. So we got to travel safely to the top with little trouble. There was one part that would of required some tough fighting, but instead I kited the mob to the exit as white mage. XD My thief skills even show in my other jobs!

While Nicokekidman, Milie, and me were exping in Quicksand Caves, this NM antican popped name...Sagitar-someting number number. Anyhoo, Milie ran back to her mog house to switch to white mage and kicked its butt! The NM didnt drop what it was supposed to, but it gave the exp an exciting little break ^^. I kite with whm, and Milie tanks with hers! And some peeps say whm is boring!

I finally got to try out Salvage! Cyprias invited me out and it was really fun! It was really confusing at first, having to deal with all them cells that were dropping like crazy. Cyp was an amazing leader, he would quickly tell who to lot on what almost instantly. I was spinning in circles wtih all the stuff that was going on in the beginning. @_@;

But once we got to fighting, I started to get the hang of it a little more. It turns out...the cells are used to unlock stuff that is weakened or locked to you in the beginning. So Cyp was just telling who to take what so we would be as strong as possible right off the bat. We fought our way through pretty well, only having a few deaths here or there. Since this was my first run...I'm not sure if that is good or not. ^^; Anyhoo, I actually got some boots out of the run! They're some kind of boots that when traded with some other stuff, I then get me some super boots! I'm so excited about Salvage. Its so new and fun! I can't believe what I was missing out on!

As some of you know. I like to make my mog house look...well...like a house! I moved some stuff around and I ralized I had a empty space on top of one of my chests. After looking at the list of furniture and reading through my Moogle's Ikea catalogue, I knew exactly what I wanted! Being an alchemist, I knew I had to have some alchemist's tools in my mog house and they would fit the spot I had open perfectly. The only problem was...the pricetag was super high! I bought quite a lot of nice equipment for my thief and I really didn't have the gil to buy the furniture for the 150k. So I decided to farm up the items and make it myself instead! I first focused on the stuff I couldn't make. I needed a special brass sheet and ingot so I decided to go out and farm em. After an hour or so I was only able to find 1 ore. I need 8. @_@; To make matters worse, I realized one of the alchemy items was a new recipe so I had to look it up. I saw an ingredient I hadn't seen before, but found out the alchemy guild in Whitegate sold it. Mr. Wahraga, the alchemist guild salesman had what I needed...but it was 136k. I was shocked! Holy moly! My moogle and I were gonna have to eat crayfish or someting for a while...cause I would be super poor @_@;. I'm not sure if I'm gonna go after the furniture anymore...I'm gonna have to sit and think about it.

Anyhoo, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend peeps ^^. My linkshell did an amazing job farming pop items this week and we have a busy day ahead of us with a bunch of God fights! I can't wait to see what drops! Its like hitting a Pinata and rushing to see what candy comes out! Except instead of fighting your friends for some Skittles, you get to fight over treasure!

Oh yes, I totally forgot to find a silly quote this past week so I'll have extra ones next time ^^. As a substitute however, Kallo wrote a interesting little story about a so called experience with me. I must say, he really did use his creativity on this one. Me flirting with Kallo? He wishes! And no one throws me into the water! No one! >_> Anyhoo, I thought some peeps might get a good laugh out of it like I did. See ya later peeps~! ^^y

Adventure Overload!

Wow! How is it going everyone? I've had so many crazy adventures lately! I was all over Vana'diel fighting super tough mobs. So lets go straight to the stories! First off I went up to help farm in sky. Here is a NM I haven't talked about yet. His name is Steam Cleaner. I thought they were used to clean carpets, but I have yet to see any in sky. I have no clue what the heck one is doing up here, but it drops a pop item for a god. So my linkshell kicked his booty and I was able to do the cheesy finishing pose! Oh yeah, totally beats Kallo's.

I finally got to try a ENM! I never did it before, but Lynq wanted some super katana so he created a group and invited me! The ENM wasn't so bad either. We just had to run around and find the antlion below.

This big guy put up a decent fight. The only problem with him was every 25% hp we took away from him, he would bury in the ground and heal a lil bit. He also has a few weaker friends who like to defend him also. But that didn't stop us from kicking his butt!

Yeah! The antlion went down like cheesy cake. Lynq didn't get what he wanted but I'm sure he will get it someday!

Although I probrably won't fight Fenrir for a while, I decided to help lynq with a few more avatar fights. Since Lynq and Goof had damage dealing under control, I got to bring out me red mage to keep em alive. We were able to Trio with relative ease. I only got a few more avatar fights till I can fight Fenrir! Isn't that amazing? ^^

Since my linkshell is doing Sea, I really wanna join them. The problem is I have a lot of catching up to do. Luckly, there was a group shouting for part of a mission that I needed so I ended up joining them. The mission consists of checking 16 doors and having a large chance to fight a gargoyle. I think 14 of the 16 doors spawned the gargoyle. To top it all off, there were mobs we had to deal with as well after each door. Despite dying 3 times, and taking an awfully long time to get it done, the group was able to finish this mission. I can't wait for sea! :3

I finally began leveling red mage again. Although I was rusty at first, I am slowly getting the hang of it. The first exp party I got with it was in Bibiki Bay. The exp wasn't so good, but it brought back a lot of memories before AU came out. I remember being here all the time with thf getting only 4k exp an hour there. Sure, it took me really long to lvl thief, but man, I used to kick butt back then! I could go toe to toe with almost any DD and I had just gotten my peacock amulet. Like no one had it and everyone was always shocked when they saw it. Now, my thief gets its butt kicked by them 2 handed DD's and so many peeps have the peacock amulet or charm. Its all good though. I'll always have those good memories of mine ^^.

I Can Fight

Hi hi peeps! I havent posted in quite a while. Woo, so much as been going on. @_@;; Lets start right off the bat! Last Sunday my linkshell fought some more gods. Sadly, I must of used up all my treasure hunter on the farming nites, cause the drops stuuunk~! And...being the only thief there (There were a lotta peeps /thf though @_@;;;) everyone kind of looked my way. Um...*akward whale while slowly walking away*. Yeah lol. Oh well, I'm sure we will get good drops next time!

I finally got WotG! Yay! I finally got to go back and time and try a few things out. I dont know...it kind of feels like a lot is still missing for me. Sure, you can help do some fun fights which really remind me of garrison...but the items are not so great and I honestly feel kind of ripped off actually. I really hope SE does some cool stuff with it, cause I was really looking foward to this expansion.

Woo~! Here is Lynq, Milie and me after kicking Garuda's butt~! That is the last of the elemental summons that I needed! All I need now is Diabolos and Fenrir. *Gulp* Those are gonna be tough. @_@ But yeah, Milie kept me and Lynq safe while the two of us tore into Garuda. For being a flying wind summon of death, the three of us showed her who was boss!

There was quite a lot of drama the past week in the linkshell. Although it didn't really invovle me at first, I kind of jumped in to try to help. I don't know if I did the best thing or not. I know I probrably pissed off some peeps doing what I did. B...Bu...But I really didn't mean to do anything wrong. The thing is... well... um...I really care about everyone in the linkshell. I want to make sure everyone is having a good time. And although I want people to have fun, well...I don't want it at other people's expense. I know I joke a lot, and others make fun of me. But if we ever push too far, or say something a little too rude, we almost always send a tell immediately apologizing.

Another reason why I kind of jumped into the drama was because it involved friends of mine. It was before this blog was made, but I used to be in the most awsomest linkshell ever. It's name was StrengthofOdin. Before that linkshell, I never really had a linkshell I could call my own. My first dynamis shell only used me for suicide pulls and never let me lot on items since I was only 67 even though I had earned a lotta points. Other linkshells kicked me out for making a few mistakes (wiped an alliance in Promy-Dem ^^;) or disbanded for not having enough members. Anyway, when Mikumaru invited me to SoO I knew it was special. Everyone was so nice to everyone. We would help each other all the time and never got anything out of it. I know a lot of the linkshell helped me especially. I was still new to the game and they really showed me a lot of the ropes. Honestly, the linkshell was the reason I played. We really were a family. We looked out for one another. We laughed and just had fun. I remember Souel, Ashrah, Millie, Rifu, Masterjedipimp, Kpsfoxy, and all the others. I could honestly say that I liked all of them. There was no one I argued with, there was no one who I thought was wierd, and I honestly looked up to each and every one of them. They were all mentors to me. They were more then that...they were friends...they were almost family. I really miss those days...I really do. Although STRIFE has many of them in it...it really just doesn't feel the same. I know I probrably angered at least a few of the people who I look up to...and if any of you read this...I'm sorry. I...I guess I just wanted everyone to be happy like it used to be. I know the linkshell will not be the same as it was, but I can still reminisce and wish for it to be like the good ol days. So here is to StrengthofOdin, the greatest linkshell I was in. *Raises her cup of tea* Cheers!
