Finding the Right Spot

Howdy peeps! Long time no...type? I dont know lol. I apologize for not updating in a while. I have been so busy with my beastmaster and what not. So lets get down to my adventures!

Although I have been focusing on Beastmaster, I went on a O-hat run the other day to finally get one for my thief. However, since the group was low on mages I actually had to get out my Red Mage armor. Boy, was it covered in dust. XD Although I was one of the early people to join up, we rolled to see the order we would be going in. I honestly thought I was 5th, (285 beats 215!) but the person keeping track said I was 6th. That was Ok though, I bit me tongue. Sadly, because it took so long to get the group together, I ran out of time and had to leave before my turn came up. Although I felt bad for leaving, the group didn't mind so much since I didn't leave after getting a hat like a few others did. So although I didn't get me hat, at least I met some nice people.

Anyhow, back to Beastmaster! I finally got 43 and decided to choose a new camp since the goblins in Yuhtunga were just all of a sudden. I was told the desert to be a good camp but I couldn't find a good spot with a lot of mobs. I was able to level decently there but after my experience point buff from my ring wore off, I decided to go searching for a new camp.

After hearing a few good things about the Sanctuary, I Outpost Warped out and decided to try it out. The exp was not as quick as I had hoped to be, but there was a greater concentration of mobs at the camp. Sadly, with a Tough goblin chasing me, I failed to charm a Decent Match fly three times! I guess +26 chr just isn't enough or something. Anyhow, with 2 mobs kicking my butt, I ate dirt pretty fast. I never had Sanctuary of Zi'tah dirt before. It tasted ok, but had too much moss in it. I am almost to 44 now and I'm again gonna try to find a new better camp.

So next time on "Miry's Crazy Adventures": The amazing camp sight, Can she find it!? *Dun dun dun*

The Mighty Powers of Crawlers

The past few days have been much of the same. I grab a mega crawler, I throw them at a goblin. Either the goblin blows himself up or I grab a 2nd crawler and finish the goblin off. I have finally reached 42 with beastmaster but the exp is still decent at this camp. I think i can get to 43 here hopefully. It is quite a busy beastmaster camp such that I have seen 3-4 other beastmasters here from time to time (never all at once). I'm not quite sure why, but even with +20 or so chr I failed charming about 2-3 DC crawlers. I guess I gotta make sure I got me monster signa equiped for even more @_@. Oh, and to all me peeps, have a great day!

Goodbyes and another start

Wowy, I havent blogged in quite a while. How is everyone doing? I have been quite busy with real life stuff but I have been able to sqeeze a lil bit of FFXI in me life. I finally got Beastmaster to 40~! Woo! After hitting level 40, I decided to do the quest for the awsome lil AF axe. It isn't big but it packs a decent lil punch at that level. I ran into Enkalados when I was up there, but had no luck with the drop. I also had no luck with the delkfutts tower key, so I just picked the darn chest open. Yay being a thief~!

After leveling beastmaster a lil bit more, I was finally able to go up in sky again with my linkshell. Although we killed all the gods with relative ease, I didn't have a lot of fun up there. I don't want to say it is the people in the linkshell, but I just dont get the same atmosphere anymore as I used to up there. A lot of my friends are in that linkshell and it is great to be with em, but it just isn't the same as when the linkshell first started. A lot of people went their seperate ways and a lot of new people joined. Maybe its like going from middle school to high school. I don't know, but after some thinking, I gave me resignation to me linkshell leader and good friend Souel. I know I am gonna miss many of the people there.

Souel - You taught me so much and helped me more then most, I can never thank you enough.
I really was surprised that you remembered me after that three month break. You will always have a friend.
Ashrah - I'll always remember the good ol days. Lets go on another adventure again ash~!
Frag - You are the greatest player I know on the other side of the Atlantic, you were always funny. Don't ever change frag!
Arnor - Greatest blue mage ever and I will always look up to ya hun~! Oh, and remind me to send ya your present.
Cawdor - Haven't seen you in a while, but I'll always be your fat tailed kitty.
Cyprias - I salute you sir~! You kicked butt in almost all occasions! You almost made me want to level ninja, but then I remembered how expensive it was.
AcupofCoffee - You will always be the fishing master in my eyes, I'll challange you to a fishing challange some day lol.
Hye - Hye! Whenever I pick up red mage again I'll think of you! (Especially since we look the same) I'll never forget our adventure fishing up those lil betta fish. XD
Shrew - Whenever I see a black mage nuke the heck out of something, I giggle and think of the death kitty.
Kallo - I don't think you will see this, but I really did look up to as a thief Kallo. You are amazing, besides the whole elvaan thing....eww lol.

It was wonderful meeting all of the above and those who I didn't metion because I'm lazy or can't remember something witty to say. I know Miryoku is just a character, but I care about her a lot. I can give her a personality, a voice, even life. However, without all of the people whom I met along the way, the Miryoku many of you know would have never lived. Her mischievous ways only grew thanks to many of whom I met. Her simple mind was taught many naughty things I believe she never would of learned without some special people (You know who you are, lol). Miryoku truly is a living person in my opinion, but for her to grow, I don't think the linkshell she was in was the proper place anymore. So goodbye Strife and members, I will never forgot the great times I had with you. Fat tailed Kitty, Out~! <3

Yumi: Wow....this became a long post! Crap!
Miry: Not Here, It draws flys.

Back to the job that used to be Bst

Well I finally have a computer up and running that can semi-run ffxi now. Yay!
Anyhow, since the new update got rid of losing exp from pets all together for bst, I decided to go to Sea Serpents Grotto. Now, before the update, I hated the place. Undead made it a pain to level too far in and sahagins were there to aggro you if you didn't pay attention.

However, because of the new update, you really don't even have to fight anymore with bst. Just grab a Tough pet, throw it at a Even Match, and enjoy the fight by relaxing with some pies on a picnic blanket. Well, it isn't thaaat easy~! I do admit the beastmaster job is a lot easier to level now, but I feel that the job just isn't as fun without the challanges it had. Oh well, I'm sure I'm still gonna take bst pretty far. Lets just see how far that is.
