A very Adventury Weekend

So! Although I wasn't able to get WoTG yet, I was still able to have a very busy weekend full of fun, anger, and most of all, adventure! My weekend started out with Frag inviting me to a BCNM40. I had never done Royal Jelly but Frag, Arnor, and me tore up the slimes! We even got lucky and got a Utsusemi: Ni drop! Split three ways was still decent gil so we all came out with a decent chunk of *clink clink*.

After the BCNM runs, I joined a CoP 4-3 run. We started an hour late, but I was able to farm a Formor Codex while everyone was getting their slow behinds to the area. The run turned out to be a wreck. A guy stole the key we needed, people left in anger, and I lost a decent chunk of exp on BST. I admit I was pretty angry after the run. But after drinking some tea and remembering the luck I had earlier that day in BCNM (as well as the Codex) I was able to calm myself and prepare for the next day.

Biostar's group was shouting as usual for the KS30 runs. I didn't get my Heart Snatcher last time so I went again, hoping to come out with something decent. I ended up with about...20k worth of junk. Oh well. ^^;

Here is a picture of me and a friend I made. His name is Kirin. And he smacked me into the ground quite a few times. (Thanks for the extra death dag >_>). I had never done a Kirin run before but it was really fun! Sure there was a decent amount of death, but fighting big bosses with a bunch of friends is always fun! ^^ Congrats to everyone who won stuff!

After the two Kirin runs, a few of the LS mates went out and fought this Cactaur NM. He was huge! I'm always used to them being up to my waist, but this guy was as tall as me! It was like seeing a giant taru. o.o Anyhow, we took it down relatively easy and someone got themselves a nice pair of dune boots. Yay! I was also able to get my Star Necklace which I can use later for my BST. The quest item dropped off a link amazingly. Guess my TH does work sometimes @_@;;

I was only able to get a lil experience on my bst. Hopefully I can get it to 54 this week. @_@; Sea Serpent Grotto's exp is starting to die down so I'm gonna have to find a new camp once I level. I might even try to find a new camp to get to 54 actually. The exp died out much quicker then I expected.

BLEARG!!!!

Ohhhhh boy. Ok. I usually dont talk about what goes on in my personal life, but sinces its FFXI related, I'm gonna talk about it anyway.

Anyhoo. Today was black friday. The super duper evil shopping day where old grandmas get trampled on for good deals. Since the new FFXI expansion pack came out on Tuesday, I decided to go out and get it. I went to two Gamestops, one Gameplay, three Targets, one Walmart, and even one Toys R Us. None of them had it. They all either had the Xbox or PS2 veresion, but no PC. I then went to a Best Buy. A salesguy came up to me and asked if I needed any help. I asked if they had the game and he quickly rushed and got me a ps2 version. "Err...well I need the PC version," I told him. He then ran off again 10 minutes later told me that all Best Buys didn't have it and they would have them later this week. This is where I ripped some of my hair out. I had driven around for 4 hours and couldn't find the darn game. My little brother needed to go to a place called Frys. For those of you who never been to one, Frys is this huuuuge electronics store. "They gotta have it there!" I thought. So I drove me and my little brother an hour and a half all the way to this store. It was a freaken battlezone! People were running around grabbing w/e the storeclerks were restocking right off the shelfs. I got seperated from my brother as he ran into the crowd and I began to swim through some line trying to get to the video game section. Finally I was able to get to the section which looked liked a tornado came through. Again a clerk asked me again if I needed help to look for anything. Again I asked for the game and the guy again brought a console version of the game. When I asked if they had a PC version, the guy said they didn't have it and the PC version wasn't even out until tomorrow. "Eh?" was all I could say. I stood there frozen and the guy went to help someone else. "WHAT THE EF!" I could of sworn the game came out on Tuesday I thought. After hunting down my brother and going back home, I jumped on my family's mac to check the the game's availability. Sure enough, all the darn stores I had been to said they haven't even recieved it yet. So I wasted a whole day, and a lot of gas, looking for the darn game. I later went back to a game store and pre-ordered it. There is no game store near my college so now I gotta get it mailed up to me. What a pain and waste of my freaken time!

Wowy...I ask for no comments and instead I get the most I ever recieved...ever! Thank you very much for your kind words peeps. I honestly wouldn't be playing this game without great friends such as you guys. ^^b I'm so glad to know all of you guys. Its like the more peeps you know and have adventures with, the more and more you feel the time is well spent. So! No matter how we part, or how far we are from each other, I am glad I met every single one of you guys. Not sure if everyone celebrates Thanksgiving, (Japan doesn't do it, and never asked anyone in Europe @_@). So instead I shall wish you all a happy turkeyday! A day where we all just "gobble" up a bunch of food. Hahahaha. Get it? Gobble? hehehe

Another Akward Turtle

*Does an akward turtle*. Um...where to begin. After covering my head with a pillow in shame for quite some time...I knew I had to say something. Um...well...you see...uhh...oh boy. As many of you know,I met someone who...I did someting with. Um...I feel very ashamed for putting the linkshell in that position and I feel super embarrassed for both myself and for him. He set the mood and all...and...well things kind of got out of hand...as those of you who were there, got to realize. I will probrably be off for a week. First few days is to hide my shame...but the rest of the week I am out of town for Turkeyday. Um...well...not much else to say. I'm gonna go hide under a rock now. Oh...and no need to comment. I...I...I really don't wanna talk about it.

A Slow yet Super Fun Day

I got a tell from me friend Rael asking to help kill a super NM scorpion. Sure I said! So I warped out of SSG, changed equip, and ran out. Although the picture doesnt show it too well (bad angle ^^;) King V is HUGE! He is probrably the same size as serket, but wowy! I'm always amazed when I fight something so big. @_@ Well after an hour of preparing and kiting it, and people yelling for poisona and cures (I almost died multipe times @_@;;;) I left. The group really didn't have their stuff together and the situation started to look pretty bad. So I warped and then went back to SSG to level. I died like...4-6 times today, but I was able to get 52! So I finally get to wear the cute boots! They kind of look like lined socks really. But I like em! I also called a GM about some fishing bots. Amazingly, although I was only 23'ed in line, I got a response from em in less then 10 minutes! Thats crazy! So yeah, I told him about the fishing bots and when I came back the ones I told him about were gone! So yay GMs! So although my day was a lil slower then usual, it was super fun! LS also had fun talking about um...*cough cough* fun stuff. ^^;

Sirshade: Life as a drk sucks. You can't do much on your own and you spend half you're time in your mog <Jerkin> or running around.

Hey hey peeps! What a great night! Today, I went up in sky and I had a great time just like the good ol times. ^^ Even before we started we were already having fun. The pic above is me and Frag practicing our <Hide>. But yeah, it was a super fun night! Lotsa joking around. A bunch of laughs. And we still got stuff done! Today was just a farming day, but the NMs still gave us a good run for our money but the mighty Strife Linkshell took them all down with only a few casualties. The only big trouble we had was some personal issues.

FFXI: You Never Have Enough Time

Bah! Another busy week and little FFXI time >_<. I was low on Imperial Silver Pieces so I ran in and did a besieged. As you can see from the picture, all the Generals died. So hundreds of adventures packed themselves inside and we fought off the beastman. Sure we suffered a lot of casualties (AoE's just tore everyone apart), but we were somehow able to hold the beastman out. Hopefully I can make it to some sky this weekend. I feel bad for not making it lately. >_<

As soon as I signed on today, I was greeted by a rabbid black mage from my linkshell.
Attikus: Miry! Wanna do CoP 2-5?
Me: Uhh, I dont really have equipment for it @_@;;
Attikus has invited you to the party.
So before I knew it, I was swiped away into the party. Now for those of you who don't know, CoP 2-5 is a pretty tough fight that requires some luck. There are these 3 guys guys called Mammets who have...I think 4 different forms. One of them is super strong, 2 are decent, and one is super weak. So pretty much you just gotta hope they stay in their weak forms. Sure you can buy Yellow Luqid to enlong the time they stay that form, but chances are they are still gonna switch after a while. Aaaanyhow, after having a lil bad luck farming the scales, we got ourselves to the boss fight. The first fight we did a dry run. We actually didnt do that bad but lost because we just didnt have the mp to finish em off. Our second and I believe final run hit a snag. After a few minutes into the fight, Attikus somehow got hate and went down. Since Attikus' main job was to heal a guy, I was then set to curing 2 guys instead of 1. Amazingly, I pulled it off pretty well for quite a while. Yagudo drinks provide quite a lot of MP so I was able to keep the 2 melee up for a while. Sadly, when I used convert, S*** hit the fan and one of the tanks and me went down. From there the fight went downhill. The party had a valient effort and attempted to reraise and fight again, but sadly time ran out before either of the two leftover mammets died. So sorry Attikus, better luck next time ^^;. I'm just happy they got rid of exp loss from the mission fights. I would of deleveled otherwise. @_@

I'm gonna try to have a new thing with each post. I always hear funny comments by other peeps so at the end of each post, I'm gonna try to put the funniest one I have heard since my last post.

An Akward Turtle Moment.

For those of you who dont know what akward turtle is, I will teach you. First, take your right hand and stick your thumb out while having your 4 fingers stick straight together. Repeat the step with your left hand. Then put your right hand on top of your left hand and twiddle your thumbs! See! Its an akward turtle cause it only has 2 back legs! Hahahaha. So the next time you are put in an akward position, immedietly do a akward turtle to get yourself out of it!

Anyhow, today I ran into quite a random of a person. While finishing up some quests in the silly town of Sandy, I was sent a random tell from a stranger. (Gonna leave his name off to protect his identity). Lets call him...Bob. So anyways, I get the tell from Bob saying "Are you a bst? Cause I wouldn't mind being your pet." At first it took me a second to realize that he in fact sent me the nerdiest pick up line I ever recieved in FFXI. I mean...I have recieved pick up lines...some of them actually great...some of them very awful...but this guys took the cake. Now being flirted with is not something new to me. I realize some people just have um...specific needs that they wish to recieve from the game but I am not one of them. So after thanking him for the cute pick up line, I told him <Thank you for the offer, but I'll have to pass.> There I thought. Thats the end of it. I was gonna do some running so I switched to thief for flee. After switching to thief, he sent me another tell. "You must be a thief, cause you just stole my heart." Hehe...another one...how nice, I thought. I told him I wasnt interested and lied and said I had someone in my life. He finally said sorry and left me alone for a while.

However! The story does not end there! As I began my journey to the outlands, I recieved another tell from him. Although I already forgot what he said, it was pretty much a vivid description of him cybering. Now I have recieved some wierd MT's before. Like "Have my babies" or "Are you horny?". Heck, a friend of mine recieved a MT of "Will you marry me?" He said yes but later found out that two male characters cant get married XD. Back to Bob though. As many of you know, I am quite innocent and I dont know as much as others do in certain fields. Although there have been occasions where my innocence has been breached *cough* Souel Ash *cough* *cough*. Sorry, got something in me throat. So yeah...again Bob took the cake and I was stunned silence. All I could return to him was a simple ". . .". He immediately responded back apologizing and saying it was a MT. Once realizing what it was, I laughed sooo hard I fell out of my chair and cried.

So my simple day of doing a few quests and earning some gil became one of the most akward turtle moments I have had while playing. You gotta love it though, you never know when you are gonna get a very bad MT to make your life interesting. XD

Technical Difficulties

Due to me being swamped with work, I have had little time to be on. However! In a week or so my free time appears to be getting a boost so I should hopefully have good stories! So! I apologize for my absense and I assure you guys I will be back on more soon! ^^;
