Don't Mess with the Red Mage

*Huff*. Boy, what a day. Today might be a little more of a rant then a story peeps @_@;.
Anyways, I was able to struggle my way to 45 in the Sanctuary of Zi'tah. The goblins kept popping up as Decent challange and the exp just wasn't that great. At least I get to wear my Brigandine Armor now. I always liked snazzy black and orange armor. Nothing else like it in the game. XD

Anyhow, time to get to my rant part. After getting Bst to 45, I randomly had an urge to level Red Mage. Quite frankly, I admit my red mage skills are a lil rusty. Besides the O-hat run I had a few weeks ago, I hadn't touch the Red Mage for quite a while. But, I wanted to level Red mage and so I began to seek. Of course as RDM I got 2 invites in less then a minute. Sheesh, do people sure love the job. Anyways, the party was actually pretty good. Although I lost track of time, I got about 20k EXP. Finally, as the quote goes, S*** hit the fan.

First I gotta explain how I play Red Mage. Pretty much, I focus on the HP/MP table in the bottom right corner. I usually create some kind of order to do refresh and haste. Of course I throw debuffs and heals when they are needed, but pretty much most of my mana goes to refresh and haste. Also, my computer responds a lil slower when fights are going on my screen so I usually face the camera towards me with my back against the wall. Anyways, as I was 1/2 through my rebuff order, I noticed that peoples' HP was going down fast. I didn't think of looking at what was doing the damage; my instant reaction was to start curing. However, the dmg being done was more then I could cure and multiple people started getting low. I decided to throw out a Curaga II and poof, one of the mnks ate dirt. I finally turned my camera around and noticed that we had a link. Now this pt also had a brd. For the past 20k exp, we had links before and the brd took care of it. Heck, I swear the brd even took care of 2 links at the same time. Anyhow, I had to convert but I was able to keep the rest of the party alive for the rest of the fight.

Anyways, thats not what got me angry. What got me angry was that the party leader blamed me for the death. Now I realize I probrably shouldn't have casted Curaga II. Heck I probrably should of used my two hour. The truth is though, something in me just cracked and I got pissed! The party's tank was a Palidin. I didn't understand why he didn't use his two hour to get one of the crawlers off the mnk. The brd has a single sleep but I am guessing that it failed. What I don't understand is why I wasn't told to sleep the crawler. In fact, I was blamed for not sleeping the crawler with the leader saying it was my responsibility as Red Mage to do it. My responsibility?! What the FLIPPING FISH!? Perhaps he didn't notice I was rebuffing and curing and running out of mana. Perphaps I thought the party could handle a link or would of at least told me to sleep it. Anyhow, I got angry. Heck, I didn't just get angry, I got super pissed! Right off the bat I told the leader it wasn't just my fault. Then he persisted, and blamed my skills as Red Mage. Woah...I just froze. This mother effer did not just say that. He just blamed my skills!? I know I am not the best player ever but the hell if it was my skills that killed the mnk. Anyways, after a short argument of the leader trying to cool me down and me flipping out, I left the party. Even after I left, the leader tried talking to me. At first I wasn't responding because I wanted to just end the darn arguement. Then the darn guy asked if I b-listed him immaturely. BAH! I felt another nerve burst and immedietly tore back into him. I had to give tha..thaa..that brat the last word but I just wanted to end the damn arguement. Anyhows, I almost ended my night in a bad mood but I ran into Cyprias. Running into old friends always lightens up the mood and just talking to him just a lil helped me out. So thanks a lot Cyp, you calmed me down a bit @_@.
