Its, The Kraken!

What a day! After coming back in to Whitegate to restock on food and equipment for my Beastmaster, I saw a shout for a BCNM 60. It was quite some time since I have done a BCNM so I decided to give it a shot. The leader Dominik told me that we would attempt to do the Kraken Club BCNM. My inner Thief instantly thought about all the stuff I could buy if I got a club. As Dominik and Janosh went over the strategy, I realized that they were german. Amazingly, their english was almost perfect and I had no trouble understanding them at all. Except when they talked with each other and I was then lost.

Our strategy was pretty simple. I would gravity the Sea Monk NM while the two of them just shot at it from afar as Ranger. Sure enough, our first fight went pretty well with just a little trouble at the end. Although I asked if the thing casted anything, I forgot to ask if it had any AoE moves. It turned out that it loves to spam Maelstorm (not sure on spelling) at the end which is a pretty nasty water AoE. Luckly the NM was almost dead when it started to spam so one of the Rangers just Eagle Eyed Shot'ed it. Sadly, he didn't get a club.

The other Ranger went and it was almost the same except for one of my gravity spells didn't stick. Luckly one of the Ranger's was very quick and just shadowbind'ed it. That NM went down fast as well and again the treasure involved no club.

Finally my turn came up. After two wins, everyone knew exactly what to do and we just worked like clockwork. We actually killed the NM so fast that the refresh I casted in the beginning lasted until the end of the fight! It was amazing. We also beat the record by two minutes so Dominik got his name on the records, yay! Sadly, I also didn't get the club in my chest but I got a decent amount of junk. I believe once everything sells I should come out with 60k or so. So although I got about 1k gil for every beastman seal, I'm actually quite happy. Especially since my first three KS30 runs net'ed me about 50k all together. (Just no luck @_@;) Both of the rangers said once we got enough beastman seals we should try again and I told them I would definitely be there.
So with a stroke of luck, I got to meet two very nice German Rangers and got a few shinies out of it. What an adventure! ^^

(Sorry for the bad picture, I ran to open my chest so we could get the record and didnt zoom.)
